I love stopping in at 3 Sisters (you guessed it, actually owned by three sisters). It's a two-level boutique of fashion for women that ranges from accessories to formal wear and everyday wear. The items they curate are stylish, timeless, and lovely. They've got something for everyone. The prices are incredibly affordable. I mean it's a boutique with a luxury feel in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the country and you can walk out paying the same prices you would at a big box place like TJ Maxx. The difference is that at 3 Sisters you're getting personalized service and higher quality items while supporting a local, women-owned business. Love, love, love.

There may have been a stray XXL, but I don't really recall. So I'm not sure it's plus size friendly in the long run. When we walked in, we were not really greeted and nobody really helped us the entire time we were in the store walking around. It did not give me warm fuzzies.

I would give this store a 5 star rating regardless of the following story. I was visiting DC from out of town. We came to Nordstrom Rack to find reasonably priced clothing for a wedding, which they delivered on. While I was looking through the fabulous shoe selection, I must have dropped my wallet. Contents of the wallet were the standard: id, credit cards, cash ($45), but also included prescription sunglasses. The wallet itself was my mother's. After our Metro ride back to Eastern Market, I realized I didn't have my wallet. Once my initial panic subsided, I began to retrace my steps, riding the Metro back to Pentagon City. I looked, and looked, but no luck. I went back to my son's place feeling defeated. Fast forward a few months, the day before my birthday, I got a package from Nordstrom Rack at Pentagon City. I figured it was a gift from my son, remembering something I liked back in March. Well...imagine my utter surprise and astonishment to find the package contained my long lost WALLET!!!! Not only the wallet, but ALL the contents as well (YES, even the money)!! I was overjoyed!! My faith in humanity restored. WHAT a birthday present!! Having said all this (and good for you for sticking with this comment, lol!), I want to publicly acknowledge and THANK from the bottom of my heart, Jayla and the staff of this fine store!! THANK YOU SO MUCH :)

I showed her other dresses we had ordered for my mom from other places to get an idea of what we were looking at and she insulted the dresses. I was more than polite and open to options even though i did not like anything up until this point but it was so unacceptable how she spoke to me. I nicely expressed over and over that I did not like options she was and it was as if she could not accept that my style is not the same as hers. Insulting what I had chosen from other places was over the line.

The other friendly staff, including Christie, also had insightful and helpful ideas. I found everything I had hoped to purchase and more and returned home thrilled with all that I bought.
