I bought a couple of great 6+ ft. wind tunnels, multiple beautiful Coral Bells varieties, multiple beautiful Lenten Rose varieties and most were in good shape, and all have lived and thrived. Their staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and everything I have been told checks out and they love my dog too. They have a great variety of non clearance plants and their prices are competitive and the healthiness of plants (and usually stock too) is often better than the garden sections in the nearby box stores, at least for things I buy.

They have a rule that they have to go in pairs, but you can only get one of each breed then this morning they decide that you can only get one from each tub so if the two breeds that you were gonna go in there to get happen to be placed in the same tub, you had to get something you didn't want or give up the fact that you sat in line for hours to make it worse, then they have a mixed tub of undesirable breeds for most people that you can't pick what you want out of it. It's whatever they grab definitely not a business year toward the customer They claim they want everybody to get something so everybody walks away unhappy instead of those that got there early walking away with a reasonable purchase. I understand you won't sell all 50 of a breed to one person, especially in a county that only allows six chickens per residential property But every week there's something different and this week, the rules change between walking in the front door for the first people in line and getting to the actual picking up chicks, they change the rules in that 30 seconds of time they decided to change the rules for this reason alone I will not be using this location for anything They're far too restrictive and far too worried about things that are none of their business as long as you are buying the correct amount as long as you're getting them in Paris, so they don't die of loneliness, you should be able to get two of one breed other locations have different rules And the process seems to work much better, but this location thinks that they have the absolute perfect set up they do not

Just came back from the Midlothian Tpke store so this review pertains to this store. I felt the…read moreneed to balance out the other review bc my experience was contrary to those. I was greeted on entering the store. I was asked if I needed help with anything. My project was repairing/painting a small patch of drywall where a tissue holder had come off the wall (~10 years ago and I was just now tackling the repair). I had the paint color # from the original job but was informed by the gentleman that unfortunately the finish (aqua-pearl) had been discontinued and he suggested replacing it with their closest which would be the pearl finish. The smallest container that could be provided for that finish was a quart (Other standard finishes are available as a pint). Not a problem - perfectly understandable and good to have on hand. He also recommended the small roller for applying the paint for the best blending of the repair into the original paint. (Not being a house-handy-person, I appreciate information like that even though it's probably common knowledge to others). I recommend the homeowner is the best person to keep a record of paint colors/finishes used. So, bottom line is it will always depend on whomever is working that day whether your experience is negative or positive (not unlike going to the DMV, except you have no choice, there!) It also helps if you come in with a good attitude, yourself.

The gentleman (I use the word loosely) who waited on us was not helpful and mostly rude during our visit. We took some paint samples home and later returned to the store to request a sample of the one we liked. When entering the store, the same person who we encountered earlier was behind the counter and gave an unwelcoming look. I went to the counter and he was working at a register and refused to look up at me. Another gentleman (again using the word loosely) asked if he could help. We asked if we could have a sample of a particular paint color. He said he could sell us a pint for $7+. We noted that the Benjamin Moore web site advertised smaller samples for much less cost. His sarcastic response was "Oh well guess you are out of luck". I have been a Benjamin Moore customer all my life and have never experienced such poor customer service. Will never go back. Check out Home Depot's Behr's paint. It has a much higher Consumer Report rating and you get much better customer service.

I cannot emphasize enough how small businesses like this are so important to our communities…read more There are so few mom and pop nurseries around anymore that it's scary. Jubilant Nursery is a PERFECT example of locals spending money-locally! I bought all of my garden vegetables here today, and spent much less than I would have an a big box store! That kind of seems to go against logic doesn't it? Wrong!! Not only did I spend less money, but everything was grown locally, from seed. I see some ways in which the owner saves money. All the plants don't have frou frou little pictures and guides in each pot to tell you what to do. As the plants get more mature from seed the nursery puts a stick in each pot with a number that correlates to a chart in each greenhouse to tell you what that plant is. I bought several hybrid tomato plants today that I have never seen or heard of at any other nursery or big box store. Also to save money here there are no bells and whistle's, you go into the greenhouse, pick the plants you need and go on. The owner, Brian, actually met me at my car as I got out, and asked what I was looking for and how he could help. He's very familiar with everything inside of his nursery and what he grows. "Daffy" the family pet, also greeted me. She's a very cool duck that will let you pet her! My kids loved this. Not that I'm old enough to remember, but this place kinda reminds me back in the day the old gas stations that when you would pull up to get gas all the attendants came out to take care of your car while you were filling up. Keep in mind they are only open about 3 to 4 months out of the year. Once they run out of locally grown vegetables and plants that's it till the next year-they are done. What a great local place! If you're ever near Midlothian and Providence Road give them a try for your gardening needs!

We were fortunate to have a layout planned, selected and planted Jubilant Gardens. Their hours can vary, you might want to clarify their hours to se if they're open. They did all the planting both in our front and back yard. We are thrilled w/ the layout and we didn't loose any plants. The work was cost wise very reasonable. Highly recommend their work, plants and professionalism.
