Okay I absolutely love an Ollie's trip. My major downside with this store specifically is that it's super messy. Everything is thrown about. There are general areas of things, but it's always a mess when I go in. Do I still go for the thrill and hunt ? Of course. Far cleaner and much more organized than the Broad Street location. Its a large store and is located in a shopping center with convenient stores such as Dollar Tree and Food Lion. Its a bit of a distance for me so I always make a morning of it. read more

I ALWAYS come out with a bag or 2 whenever I go to Ollie's.. Customer Service was on point!

So my Mom and me went to Ollie's she was looking for a fan. And I ended up buying a few items. They had one cashier working on a busy Friday afternoon. Are you serious? Anyway, we're next in line so we go to the register. I tell the cashier it's separate his response was you two are messing up my points or something. Then he motions for the keypad and I say cash she paying with cash. He seemed so irritated. Then he responds by saying I should've stayed in the back. And I'm like omg I know he didn't say that. I've NEVER witnessed such a unpleasant unprofessional cashier before. I know that sometimes you may not be in the mood for customers but that's your job. May be you need to find another job that doesn't deal with the public. May be he thought that he was saying that bs to his self but actually said it out loud. The receipt says his name is Lawrence. Well he needs to stay in the back if he doesn't know how to treat the customer properly. read more

Ollie's is my little secret ;)...shhhhh! This place is the bomb diggity for cookbooks. Between here and TJ Maxx (although the Maxx has only a very small, yet solid selection), I am in cookbook heaven! It's the best place I know for super good quality THICK hardbacks on any imaginable topic (with the widest in-stock Spanish selection in town for English language bookstores) for dirt CHEAP. I got an amazing encyclopedia-size hardback cookbook for like $\6 bucks! This place is also a real gem for all things domestic...cooking gadgets, cooking basics, decorations, bedding...basically what you would find at Big Lots, but in larger quantities and without the awesome wall decorations. Oh yea, and area rugs galore! The quality of some of the bed and bath decor isn't top notch, but it's awesome for someone like me who's on the move due to school and won't be anywhere for long anyway. Stuff like shower rings and liners are dirt cheap, so I'd come here for that, regardless. Huge score on those nice cookout tents and they're good quality, too. Just get in here and see what kind of deals you've been missing. 1 star docked for organization...it feels a bit overwhelming at times 1 star docked for cleanliness and presentation...it's not the prettiest sight. Really, I wanted to give it 4 stars, but considering how much I love Big Lots, I felt it wouldn't do Big Lots justice to give a place like this 4 stars. read more

I bookmarked Ollie's because I thought it would be similar to Big Lots and decided to come in and see for myself what the store was like. While the prices were definitely reasonable my first thought was that the store was overwhelming with so many different items to choose from. The section with the books in the beginning of the store was my favorite however after that I lost interest. The aisles seemed disorganized the further back you went on. The customer service was okay, but could have been a lot better as well as when it came to assisting customers with finding a specific item. I did find a few things that were reasonably priced and that I could use. The store gets its share of business I just wish it was more organized and some of the staff was more helpful. All in all I think a one time trip to Ollie's bargain outlet was enough for me. But like they say don't knock it until you try it out. read more

Ollie's is a treasure hunt each and every time! I'll admit, the first few times I visited...I nearly let the "junky" look of this place scare me away. I am SO glad I didn't because I've found some real gems here over the years...most recent score... a Wamsutta premium down side sleeper pillow that retails for a whopping $218.00 at a luxury retailer for $29.00!! This place is GREAT for painting supplies, lawn and garden...and lots of odds and ends. The coupons and sale days are the icing on the cake. read more

I come here for cheap pots and pans but the pots and pans ate really good quality. They also have s lot of other stuff. It's kind of like a big lots. I love the prices but it is a little messy read more
