All other locations do their best to get you the best value and to help save you time, but here they really just don't give a *beep*. One example is that they did not have enough single cans of primer for my project, so I had to find out on my own where to go/what to do since I needed it in a few days and ordering at their store would take too long. When I got home, I called another the Bainbridge location. They did not have enough either but looked up a place that did. That location unfortunately could not honor the retail sale price since they were a commercial location, but they did call 4 other stores for me to help me out!

I chose builders white semi-gloss exterior paint to do door frames. For the porch glider I wanted a stain, and I told her the color I was wanting--a burgundy. When I arrived the employee came out with a lot of shades of burgundy stain samples. I chose one and she went in to mix the color. Fortunately, everything I wanted was 30% off, and I had a 10% coupon from online. I gave her my credit card, and she brought out everything. The addresses of the stores are confusing on the website, and HQ should fix them. This is the Chagrin Falls Store. The store on Aurora Road is the Bainbridge store. Employees at both stores, because I went to the wrong store, said customers every day get the stores mixed up due to the website. I would think this is an easy fix for IT.

It is very clean always, tons of help, and a great location. Each employee I've worked with have been patient with me as I try to make a decision on a color and they also helped me decide if I wanted to wallpaper in the future or not (they have wonderful wallpaper choices too that many don't know about). The service is great here but be aware since it is a popular location, it tends to be crowded but they do their best to keep the line moving. Go in the mornings or mid afternoon. During rush hour seems to be the busiest. The reason I am giving this four stars and not five is that I called in the morning to ask a few questions about getting paint for the outside of our house for touch up. When I asked if I should get Satin or Flat and what is normally used, the person on the phone said "Ma'am, I do not know, it is not my call, it's your house" in a very annoyed voice after I asked three questions before hand trying to figure it out. I understand it is early in the morning, but they are open and I would expect great service like I always have but I explained to the man on the phone that I apologize for pushing his buttons and I'll take my business somewhere else. I was very disappointed with the above interaction I had with the sales associate because I have always had a great experience there where the associates and managers were always very helpful and always lended a hand in helping me find exactly what I am looking for. I really hope the man I spoke to has a better day and treats his next customers with more respect. Other than that one instance, great store with some very nice employees.

Not only did he dig through the system to find my previous transaction (which was not an easy feat), he was patient and offered to do more. He also was interested in learning how things work (like I mentioned, this was not a straightforward transaction). He and his coworker mentioned that training is done on-site, and the service here is a real testament to this location's management. If you have a choice between going to Solon and Woodmere, go to Woodmere!

I've tried others--Sherwin-Williams is heads above all other paints out there. The paint offered is top notch, with no- and low-VOC options readily available. Plus, I have yet to be steered wrong, or even to be displeased with the service given by the staff. This goes for this location, as well as two others in Tucson, and elsewhere across this country. They simply seem to find people who care about their product and their customer base. That all said, expect to pay more than you would buying paint at Home Depot. Nevertheless, you get what you pay for. Also, if you plan early and keep your eyes open, you will find sales occur quite frequently. I just bought 4 gallons this weekend and other supplies, getting 30% the whole deal. This location has a great selection of anything and everything you need to start a painting project on the interior or exterior of your property. They also have paint sprayers for rent or purchase. Throw in the good, central location and you have yourself a winner. One final bit of advice--set up an account! Really! It's free and they keep records of all the different tints and types of paint that you purchase. This is really handy when you return needing some touch up paint. Also, it might just be me, but it seems like setting up the account makes the staff appreciate your business that much more.

I've been a Sherwin-Williams customer for many many years until today. I can't tell you how much…read moremoney I have spent over the years but my most recent experience at the Brecksville, OH location has forced me (and everyone else I can tell) to look elsewhere. I had an old trim paint from another manufacturer (the only non Sherrington-Williams paint I still had) and wanted to have my trim paint also to be from SW. My wife took it in to be color matched; it didn't come out well so we chalked it up as a loss and figured we would have to go with another paint. I returned to the Brecksville store to see if there was another way to get a match and the associate informed me that they had the exact color in their data base which replicated the other manufacturer's color. I was pretty happy and bought another gallon of ProClassic ($53 on sale!). Go home, painted the trim, and it was not a match. So a couple days later I return to the store and told the same associate that it wasn't the same color. He recommended using an unmixed white that would look really nice (not sure why they didn't recommend this earlier). Anyway, he shakes the can and then informs me he can't take the paint back that they mixed using their data base! I understand the first gallon that we tried to color match but the second gallon was using their formula which was supposed to match the other manufacture's paint exactly. I recently purchased a new home that will need a lot of painting; it won't be SW paint because of poor customer service. Too bad because the paint is good but there are a lot of other options out there. I always liked SW because they have a local community feel when you go in, but it looks like they have lost their way.
