The other day I got so frustrated with disorganized and unhelpful staff that I decided I would drive to Solon And see what they had. I was greeted three times. I had two employees ask if they could help me. I thought I knew what I needed but another came and asked if he could help me and he took me right to the plumbing item I was looking for and was knowledgeable about what I was trying to do. The cashier was sweet and treated me like a human. From now on I'll dry the extra distance and still get home quicker!

Not only did he dig through the system to find my previous transaction (which was not an easy feat), he was patient and offered to do more. He and his coworker mentioned that training is done on-site, and the service here is a real testament to this location's management. If you have a choice between going to Solon and Woodmere, go to Woodmere!

Honestly, I could have done the same thing at Lowe's. I reached out to corporate to share my experience and they gave me a district manager's number. I called left him a message and no return call.

I chose builders white semi-gloss exterior paint to do door frames. For the porch glider I wanted a stain, and I told her the color I was wanting--a burgundy. Fortunately, everything I wanted was 30% off, and I had a 10% coupon from online. I gave her my credit card, and she brought out everything. The addresses of the stores are confusing on the website, and HQ should fix them. This is the Chagrin Falls Store. The store on Aurora Road is the Bainbridge store. Employees at both stores, because I went to the wrong store, said customers every day get the stores mixed up due to the website. I would think this is an easy fix for IT.

It is very clean always, tons of help, and a great location. Each employee I've worked with have been patient with me as I try to make a decision on a color and they also helped me decide if I wanted to wallpaper in the future or not (they have wonderful wallpaper choices too that many don't know about). The service is great here but be aware since it is a popular location, it tends to be crowded but they do their best to keep the line moving. Go in the mornings or mid afternoon. During rush hour seems to be the busiest. The reason I am giving this four stars and not five is that I called in the morning to ask a few questions about getting paint for the outside of our house for touch up. When I asked if I should get Satin or Flat and what is normally used, the person on the phone said "Ma'am, I do not know, it is not my call, it's your house" in a very annoyed voice after I asked three questions before hand trying to figure it out. I understand it is early in the morning, but they are open and I would expect great service like I always have but I explained to the man on the phone that I apologize for pushing his buttons and I'll take my business somewhere else. I was very disappointed with the above interaction I had with the sales associate because I have always had a great experience there where the associates and managers were always very helpful and always lended a hand in helping me find exactly what I am looking for. I really hope the man I spoke to has a better day and treats his next customers with more respect. Other than that one instance, great store with some very nice employees.

We called the appliance delivery department again in the evening since no phone call had been made to let us know about a delivery time. We then discovered our items had not even been shipped to the store as of yet. We mobilized the whole day for a delivery that never occurred and had no prospective date for delivery. In addition, we had disconnected appliances beforehand. If we had not called, we would have never known that the delivery would not take place as planned. We had scheduled a pick up to donate one of our appliances which now needs to be cancelled--once again more time lost. I cancelled this order and will never use Lowe's again for appliances. No more lies and/or no more dropping the ball-- whatever you might want to call it.

They set up a date and when they call to confirm say no they won't be coming because their job is to measure and sell me the door. Sent me to different number the same thing happened twice. Last time guy got smart with me and said I could buy as many doors as I want but if the didn't come out and sell me the door they would not install it. They wouldn't just come and measure and give me a quote on installation. Will return the door and go with someone who knows what there doing. The website never said you had to let them come and measure and sell you the door, just had a button to click on for installation

I'm gonna keep this complaint short and sweet so I don't have to keep thinking about it but basically, I came in to get a specific drill, listed for $119. Parking lot is full of pot holes, first of all. Not great. Then I couldn't find ANYONE who could unlock the stupid drill case for me for 20 minutes. Anyone I asked said they didn't work in that department or have the key. Then I found someone, said that that drill is online only. Nothing else in the voltage I needed was even close to affordable so the guy then grabbed me a version of it that was $169. Fine, I said. I'll make that work. I bring it up, it rings as $250 bucks, and since that worker ran off to his break, they didn't bother changing or checking the price. Since I needed the drill asap, I bought it. Then it didn't even work! Returned it at a different home depot later that day. Avoid this store! It ruined my day.
