I got 2 gallons of serious oil based paint in Space Shuttle Grey oh and by the way it's the same paint they use on the space shuttle. For $13 a gallon. That's right. IF you could get it anywhere else which you can't it would be $80 a gallon. Then I got 5 gallons of stain for $10 each. Forget the Memorial Day paint "sales" at Home Depot. You would be paying 3 times as much for an inferior quality paint. And the accessories?? Rollers for 75 cents. 4 inch brushes for $3.99. And lavender scented rubber gloves for $1. Every month they have their special buys which can end up quite the steal, like a broom and dustpan for $3 or a pair of sawhorses for $20. Another big positive is the aisle of various screws, nuts, and bolts. Unlike many store where you have to buy a big box of nuts, I was able to buy only two replacement nuts for my weedwacker. This is a great hardware store, and will continue to be the one I frequent the most.

I had always wondered why the parking lot was always empty and after my first and final visit, I know why! I was met by a very short, older man who had a very bad attitude. I told him that I needed a piece of glass cut for my picture frame and he sort of grunted and extended his hand towards the frame, so I handed it to him. He proceeded to grab it by one corner while dragging the opposite corner on the floor. I immediately asked him: "PLEASE, do not drag my frame on the floor, it is for a customer of mine" to which he gave me a sideways look and stormed off towards the back of the store. I followed him and took a few steps back into the room that he took my frame, just far enough to peek around the corner and see him toss the frame onto the workbench without taking any precautions to protect it. He looked at me and told me to leave the area and I did. After about 15 minutes, he brings the frame out with no glass in it, stating that he was unable to cut a piece of glass to the dimensions of the frame and he told me what he got when he measured it and those measurements were nowhere close to the required dimensions. Afterall, I know what the dimensions are since I BUILT THAT FRAME! While I was waiting, there was a pregnant girl spreading epoxy onto an old dirty tree stump. I am not sure about who manages that place but to allow a pregnant person to handle and breathe in those chemicals, is totally and completely irresponsible. I ended up taking my frame to Joughins hardware on State St. in Painesville and they actually knew how to cut a piece of glass, unlike the "little person" that didn't know how to, at Crile hardware, it fit perfectly and it was cut from a standard sheet of double strength glass. If you want a professional and knowledgeable staff to deal with in the hardware business, go to Joughins and don't waste your time at Crile road. After repairing the damage done to the frame that was caused by the "little person" at Crile road, I finally delivered the frame to my customer and he was very happy.

I tend to get in early to check out the good clearance sections before the Seniors hit them up . i was a little disappointed the time on yelp was not correct. So i was an hour behind those dang seniors.But all in all i got everything i needed. This store just continues to amaze me with all the goodies and awesome coupons. He never made us feel rushed or nervous. He just kept telling us that we were there to have fun and that nothing needed to be perfect.... I It would still taste great!! The dough was already made, but we got to roll it out and learn a lot of technique - Chef was very good about answering any questions that we had. Of course, the best part was that we got to eat our creations right after they were taken out of the oven and there were enough leftover that we got to take some home! The pistachio and chocolate chip filling for the sweet croissant was especially yummy! Chef kept the conversation flowing by telling us about his beautiful wife and talented kids. He is a very knowledgeable Chef and we enjoyed taking his class.
