I almost don't want people to know about this place so I can have it all to myself. I LOVE the ambiance as well as the location. The staff is pretty chill and they have a jukebox... All of these things will keep a guy like me there for HOURS. Not to mention the Atlanta Falcons flags that are hanging up which leads me to believe that they will have my home state games on every Sunday? Anyways, It's a great place and I will probably come by once a week now just to hang out and enjoy some of there good drinks and food. The burgers and fries are moisturizing and the dip is great too. They have a ton of beers on draft and a wide selection of Irish themed drinks to go along. Needless to say I see a lot of cab rides home from this place in my near future. I honestly only go here to see a certain band that plays here once a month. ( will not mention name ) only because if the General manager opened her eyes on how much MORE money they would make if there was better advertisement on their part. Besides the always cold food. And bartenders with off putting behavior. I suggest paying cash only. I seem to always get charged extra, and gratitude. ( when I have already tipped in cash) not cool. The bathroom bothers me. You're forced into a small unisex bathroom. Two stalls as if you were a horse being loaded into a trailer. Just waiting to use the restroom can lead to a lot of unwelcome convo with drunk men or obnoxious loud women. To the GM. Pay attention to the large groups that come out willing to spend good money. read more

We were a group of four, stopping by for a few drinks and the football game. The service was friendly...at first. There was a live band and we were chatting with people at tables around us, buying a round for the band, dancing a bit, enjoying the evening. Then our server brought us our bill without us even asking for it. $500. A bit much for four pitchers of beer, three Long Islands, and six Irish Car Bombs (for the band) but that wasn't what bothered us. It was more of a surprise when we were told we were officially cut off and had to leave. I can understand if we were belligerent or starting trouble but she said it was because they will lose their liquor license if they serve drunk people. Um, this is a bar, right? Maybe they should change their name because "shenanigans" seems like it would be fun. We've never been asked to leave anywhere before, so to say we were shocked is an understatement. I came here in June for lunch and sat on the back patio overlooking the docks. The place was basically empty which was awesome for us since we got our pick of where to sit. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful there just wasn't a lot of food options for me. She was able to help me come up with a veggie option and had the cooks in the back make it. Stopped in for lunch. Not a glamorous place but still pretty nice atmosphere to hang with a friend and eat really good food. Service was very good, happy to help with menu suggestions. I had the corned beef burger with very fresh side salad. The 4" wide chunk of corned beef was solid and lean and over 2" high. I broke it apart and made two open face sandwiches because there was no way I could bite something that tall. Delicious! I can't eat rich food like that very often but it was really good. Visited this establishment few days ago. Being honest, never going back again. Took over 45 mins for food to arrive, ridiculous. Then my food was warm, not hot. So if my food took that long I'd expect it to be hot. But in this case it was probably sitting out for god knows how long. Waitress (service) was horrible. Never came by to ask how the food was except as she brought the check.....yeah why bother asking asking at this point. Now the $13 Buffalo chicken was utter garbage. I think they took a chicken breast and sliced that up like 3 or 4x. (Very thin) Loaded it up with bread crumbs and served it. Overcooked and dry as well. (Image attached) Next time I think I'll just opt to goto POPEYES and get one of their chicken sandwiches. Guarantee it will be 1000% better tasting, and yeah HOT. And the other dish which my guest ordered was Shepards Pie, bleh. It was mediocre. Money spent here was a waste, and totally unsatisfying. It'd your hungry go elsewhere. We only came here because we ended up getting like 70% from some deal site, and I was like, sure, why not, for that cheap, if it's what I expect (from other reviews), at least it'll be fun to write a bad review of a place. So I kinda knew what I was getting into, and yeah, I got about what I expected: lukewarm service, and also kinda lukewarm food :p (at least some of it). When we walked in and had to grab menus ourselves and flag someone down, that was our first indication that my gut was right about the place. When we pointed out that the drinks on the menu didn't have prices, and asked how much some of them were, and the waiter had no idea, that was the second indication; he was like, I think they're 7, but let me go check. Then came back, and nope, they're 10. That's a pretty big difference. You have to be making some pretty great drinks to warrant 10 buck drinks. We didn't try them, but I have a feeling these wouldn't be. When we got our appetizer (crab cakes)... actually, I was surprised. The crab cakes were surprisingly pretty decent. I've had better, but I've had way worse, too. But that was the end of that. My shepherd's pie was actually pretty decent, except that it was kinda halfway in between room temperature and the temperature it should have been, and also was kinda tiny. My wife's beef stew, the sauce was actually pretty good, but the meat was stew meat, i.e. all gristly and generally not very tasty. We left fairly dissatisfied, even having paid way less than menu price. I'd have been pissed if we'd actually paid 12 bucks for that beef stew. read more

Overall: Pretty sweet place to grab a drink and some food! It's now my go-to for day drinking, less tourists than anywhere else in rainbow harbor. They have a good selection of beers, and apparently the IPA tap rotates. My experience: My bf and I went today and had a few beers and the ahi tuna wrap - BOMB!! It's like sushi without the rice, perfect. Subbed veggies for fries and was pleased to see broccoli and zuchinni, gotta love the greens! Neither oily nor over cooked, perfect for a TIU girl! Best part was after I got my first beer, a magic hat, and the bartender goes, "Don't drink that!" I pause, surprised, and she pours me a fresh one. Apparently she saw the color was off and had the keg changed so I could enjoy my beer how it's supposed to be. What a sweetie!!! Love the attention to detail!!! Best fish n chips!!!!!! Give me fish n chips and a Jameson n ginger drink here and I'm a happy girl. This is a good bar to come hang out during the day or early evening, watch a game, sit out by the boardwalk to enjoy the view and people watch, play pool and listen to the band play. Nothing like paying 42 dollars for two pitchers of flat beer. I came in today and ordered one pitcher and noticed it was flat, so I asked for Stella as my second round, and to my suprise it was flat beer yet again. I didn't complain, I just kinda paid my tab and left but I never plan to come back again. If i wanted over priced flat beer I could of gone anywhere, heck even the liquior store down the street would of had fresher beer than the garbage that I consumed tonight. I went to celebrate my birthday and my friend and ordered a michelada and my friend ordered a mojito. It was watered down and she asked to take it back for another drink and they did. When I got my drink I took a sip of it and it tasted like soap. I had my friend taste it and she tasted the same soapy flavor. I told our waitress that it tasted like soap and she gave me an attitude and said it couldn't taste like soap cuz they wash their cups in the dishwasher. I asked for a bottled modelo instead and she said they don't change the drinks for something else when she just did that for my friend. I never heard bullshit like that. So the customer service was disappointing to me. The only reason we stayed was for the live music. Brobots were an awesome band. I will not be coming back because the customer service was not how it should be. read more

The most attentive employee here is the security guard working right now. The place does not acknowledge customers even when it is 4 people at a table or standing at the bar. My friends and I came here this past weekend for a friend's Bachelorette party. The food is great and the drinks are just as good.

I have never been so humiliated and discriminated against in a public restaurant before. I was walking to the restroom and had dropped my mask. I was covering my mouth and nose with several napkins in the meantime. I asked the manager if she had a mask I could have because I lost mine. She said no and became very aggressive and told me i was no longer welcome and had to leave. I am a Covid nurse, vaccinated, and made an attempt to protect those around me with napkins until i could find a mask. I tried to explain CDC requirements require any face covering that covers your mouth and nose and I was covering with napkins until i can get a new mask. I found a mask in approx 3min, was apologetic and still treated like a criminal and escorted out by security. As a registered nurse in the Emergency Room who has served many Covid hot spots states, i feel really sad for the uneducation and how the media has instilled fear and misknowledge. This restaurant is filthy and they never change out their gloves. They walk around touching money, door knobs, their faces, then your food without changing gloves. All honesty I never place negative reviews and I am not a Karen. I am truly sad of the uneducated at this restaurant and how poorly I was treated. Please provide masks and alot more gloves for your restaurant if you are going to treat guests this way. And for the waitress who made the comment that I am a nurse and should know better... i do know better. It is a droplet precaution NOT AIRBORNE. A sock over my face is sufficient. As a resident of Long Beach I will never return and will tell all my friends including all first responders to never go to this restaurant. read more

I did not think that the food would be as good as it was. I thought I was not going to be able to find healthy food, but I guessed wrong!!! This pub has lettuce wraps, wraps and soups!! It does also have greasy and fattening foods like Irish pub normally offers, but I loved the fact that I didn't have to eat off my diet! I'm always pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. After having a pretty good time on St. Patrick's day, my friends an I received our bill, and were charged $25 per drink! We ordered Tokio Teas (they were green and pretty), and they were put in under Long Islands. Normally Long Islands are $13. I understand not getting deals on holidays, but when did they start doubling the price on drinks? It makes no sense! When we went to talk to the manager, she was EXTREMELY rude, and refused to change the price until my friend walked up. She finally changed it to $16/drink, but we were charged a $35 gratuity (even though there were only 4 of us and it WAS NOT POSTED THAT A GRATUITY WOULD BE INCLUDED ON HOLIDAYS ANYWHERE--which is illegal). My friends and I WILL NEVER GO BACK. And we will not include this stop on our Big Red Bus fundraisers any longer. $25 a drink!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Check your bills, people! read more

Ok!! One of THE BEST places to eat and drink with kids! We came with our 1 year old and 10 year old. Our 10 year old enterrarnos herself but our 1 year old isn't the calmest. Every single staff at this location was super sweet and were all catering to him and every baby around. Honestly i would love to take the staff with me to every other restaurant we go too! Went when live band is playing. The atmosphere is good. Drinks are okay. Nice place to hang out. But food is toooooo terrible. We ordered a bunch of food and nothing has flavors!!! Potebello mushroom burger has NO flavors. Fries has NO flavors. I ordered a shepherds pie and it tasted like they boiled a potato and mashed it and just gave it to me like that... we ordered wings as well but they tasted like they were 1000 years old... the ranch dressing literally tastes like ranch water. Service is also very very slow. I'm sorry but the pros just don't compromise the cons so... one star. read more
