The service was 10 out of 10, the food was 10 out of 10. Love the new additions of the pool table and games. I've been coming to Shell Shack for more than 8 years and it is still the best spot for crab legs! Never even heard of Bairdi Crabs before Shell Shack, now thats all we eat. Thank me later! read more

Went to Shell Shack on a Tuesday afternoon! Overall the crawfish was pretty good too be toward the end of the season! They sauce was really good and not too oily. The service was kind of slow for me to be the only one in there. However the space was nice and clean overall! read more

Shell Shack - Crawfish - Seafood Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I needed a little pick me up after a hectic week so I thought I would try out Shell Shack this evening. I was kindly greeted by Tae the moment I walked through the door and he had wonderful suggestions on seasonings that just brought the dish up a whole other level! The crab was a ten, the flavor was everything you could ask for from a sea food boil and I was just blown away. I can't wait to come back again soon! read more

Shell Shack - 1 lb King Crab 1lb 2 eggs sausage - Seafood Near Me - Dallas, Texas

After a four hour car ride back to Dallas. Shell Shack was a must try, I love a boil, messy and delish. We ordered the VIP kitchen sink, the spice level was perfect. The sausage was nice and juicy and full of flavor, the shrimp perfect in portion. The corn and potatoes are my favorite part. I added my own hard boiled eggs and boy was the sauce perfectly flavored. Also the temperature was perfect I love my food boiling hot. Can't wait to order again. read more

Came in Mother's Day for an early lunch and the service was fast and friendly! We had oysters on the half shell and the boil mild with the kitchen sink seasoning. We also added crawfish for a great price. We could have gone up a level on the spice as there was not really any heat to the mild, but the flavor was good. This is a fun little spot with great music & good food we will be back for a dinner next time! read more

Food was hit or miss for most of the items. Came in the late evening after some friends from Arkansas wanted something late night. Sfuzzi's was closed so we came here and the food was solid for what we expected. Garlicky mussels were great. The white wine and butter were stellar. Fried shrimp and oysters; maybe a bit of salt to the batter would help. Crawfish were on the bland side. If it didn't have seasoning then there was no flavor, there were tons of small dead ones so I just tossed them. Service was great. Bartender would super attentive and nice. Would we come again? Up in the air. read more

The restaurant was ok. The food was ok. The drinks were ok. We were celebrating my sister and I birthdays!! I'm on the fence if I would return. Nothing bad to say. read more

Had such a great experience at Shell Shack. The food was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you come craving seafood on Greenville. The service was amazing, too. Our waitress Key took wonderful care of us, was friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal even better. Only tiny request from a loyal Dallas diner and Realtor who is always bringing clients out to celebrate closings... please add Coke Zero to the drink options. Then it would be absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back and asking for Key again. read more

Shell Shack - Crawfish! - Seafood Near Me - Dallas, Texas

This was a mixed experience. The service was great our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was good and what you'd expect from a seafood boil spot. As for the food, mine (crab and clams) tasted good, and the seasoning was solid. My boyfriend ordered crawfish and shrimp, and while the shrimp were good, he felt the crawfish had an odd, mushy texture that was off-putting. Unfortunately, we both ended up feeling pretty sick afterward (I had stomach issues, and he got sick vomiting multiple times within an hour), which is why I can't rate this higher. I'd advise anyone looking for seafood boil to be weary and definitely trust the 3 star rating this place has... read more

Can't judge the food as we went there today (Saturday) at 11:45 am and you are REQUIRED to Valet your car and pay $6 to go inside. Called the restaurant and after 2 minutes of voice prompts I get asked to leave a voice mail because no one answers the phone. AVOID this place. read more

On an unassuming Sunday this past weekend we decided to give Shell Shack a try for a hankering of crab boil that I had. To start we ordered the side garden salad that was surprisingly big enough for two to graze on. We also ordered as an appetizer the Allegator Tendies...yum!. For my entree I decided on the 1 lb Crab boil with all of the fixings sausage, boiled eggs, corn on the cobb...I was in heaven, for the sauce I decided on the 'Kitchen sink medium. The Mr. ordered the same substituting the crab for lobster. We had a great experience our waiter was amazing and attentive; we were able to get a great table in front of the large flat screen t.v. to watch the game. We will definitely be back! read more

This place has gone downhill. The last few time I ordered crab legs from here, they are still charging the same price but the quality of the crab legs shrunken. They also raise the Dungeness crab from over $20 more. It's a shame this was once a dependable place for me no longer is. read more

My sister had a craving for some seafood so she brought me here to pick up a to go order since she wasn't in the mood for human contact. We ordered the VIP (2 Clusters of Snow Crab & 1lb. of Boiled Shrimp. Served with 2 Pieces of Corn, 3 Potatoes & 3 Grilled Sausage). They were nice enough to let us exchange the sausage for more corn and potatoes since we don't eat red meat. We also got the garlic sauce with our bag and it was definitely delicious and worth the effort. I actually saw a lot of other menu items that caught my attention and gave me reason to come back again on my next trip to Dallas since I'm here pretty often. I might even sit inside this time if my sister is motivated to deal with humanity the next time around lol. read more

I was just in here terrible I won't be back. The fried catfish tasted rubbery . The mvp Boil bag was salty as hell definitely fell off

All the staff is great. Anthony was my server and was great.tolerates a lot of late night mess too.

Me and my husband decided to try a new sea food boil place ...service was amazing but the food was not good at all crawfish was falling apart and was super mushy as well is to having a very very bitter taste the sausage was not good at all the crab had very very little meat and tasted super salty the shrimp was the only thing edible ....with just me and my husband we paid 100$+ for such a little amount after leaving we both ended up very very sick with vomiting as well as stomach issues :( read more

Just left Shell Shack and can confirm it HIT. I am so glad the Diablo heat level is back, please never take it away again. We got a pound of shrimp kitchen sink, diablo. It was perfect proportion of seasoning and not too oily at all this time. Got 6 lemon pepper wings extra crispy and they were delicious!! I can't ever come here without the buffalo chicken sandwhich idk it hits different with the diablo buffalo sauce as well. We get all of these and share everything, it really is the best. I also love that they play reggae now. Cause duh seafood and reggae just go hand in hand. I do, however, miss the seasoned shaken fries that go with the buffalo chicken sandwhich, though. Also don't understand why there's valet when the parking lot is right there next to the building. Anyway, love you shell shack. Thanks for a great dinner. read more

Had the most amazing service on 12/1. Waiter has a big future in the industry, sat at the back, high tables. Food as great as well.

this was hands down the WORST seafood boil I've ever had. the sauce is tasteless, the sausage is gross. I saw the reviews but people were complaining about service a lot. since I ordered via uber eats, I thought let me try. $111+ for disgusting seafood. it is my first and my last time eating here. read more
