Went to get 6 propane tanks filled, within 5 minutes of getting them home 1 was leaking propane before we even took it out of our truck.The 2nd one POPPED and started spewing propane too! We called them and the guy denied he didn't refill them properly and refused to let us speak to the owner. His response was being it back and you buy 2 more???? WTH we just paid to get 6 filled and 2 are leaking in our front grass. This is awful, fire hazard and not to mention the people who walk by our home all day long read more

I get my propane filled here regularly. They're one of the few gas stations that still do it. They found a leak in one if my containers on a previous occasion and declined to fill it. I absolutely LOVE this Shell gas station. I was never loyal before to a gas station and I typically went to Costco gas or whatever was convenient. I started coming here because it was on my way to work after dropping the kids off at school. It's always clean and I adore the market. The man who runs this is BEYOND nice and friendly. He always greets me with a friendly smile and hello. He is also nice to my kids. My 3 year old recently sang a Christmas song for him and he let my son pick out a pack of candy. Soooooo nice! This is the station my fiancé really likes to use. They don't surcharge to use plastic. No fees to use your debit, credit, or charge cards. The station is clean. The air and water machine is located nicely closer to the street than the store, so no one parks there to shop like at the ARCO around the corner. I won't ding them for this, but you should know because of their location, it's very difficult to turn left headed west onto Chapman Ave. read more

1 star is to much for the car wash and $7 is to expensive for the following reasons. First of all, the experience was horrifying I felt as I would die. And once this terrible nightmare ride ended my car wasn't even clean I mean it still was dirty and it still had bird poop. I mean there was a giant machine that attacked my cars rights and it still wasn't clean I mean it harassed my window at least it should've cleaned the bird poop. Second of all, my car was hit and then scratched. It was still wet after it was dried. I wasted $7 on a car wash that hit my windows and gave me the most frightening experience of my life! When you use your Shell Credit Card and also the Rewards Card, you will receive the best price rather than the typical Credit Card surcharge. This isn't common so I believe that it's always important to highlight a good location that still values the customer and offers this type of incentive. This used to be my usual gas station as it has a perfect location being right before the freeway entrance. However recently I had an awful interaction with someone who worked there. Not only was he rude to me and my friend, but he proceeded to follow us to my car after we left the store, and continued to be extremely rude to us. I went here to use the bathroom and the manager refused to let me use the bathroom because he is going to clean and hadn't even mopped the other restroom yet. The short Hispanic manager was completely rude and more focused on chatting with a his co worker. Honestly I almost peed on their floor. Its sad that this type of person manages a location that is next to a freeway. If it had been my child I would have been 10x more upset with how this man acted. Lyda doesn't understand what I'm saying. They charge you the credit price when you use a debit card. Since debit is the same as cash they have to charge you the cash price. This place, though, says they charge one amount for cash, say $2.85 a gallon THEN charges you $3.00 a gallon for using a DEBIT card EVEN AFTER YOU SELECT DEBIT FOR THE CASH PRICE. they then expect YOU to realize you were overcharged and go inside for your "change". It's theft, there is no other way to explain it. The system used to know the difference between debit and credit. You would select credit and the price would go to the cash price. The owner replaced that system with one that treats all cards like credit cards so he can profit on you being unaware to his little fraud. read more

If I could rate this Shell location a negative star , I would. For years, I have been a loyal Shell customer but I've had absolutely the worst customer service experience in this gasoline station. First of all, as a struggling student, I make sure that I keep track of every single cent that I spent. Today, I decided to pump gas in this location. I gave this male cash register a $10.00 bill as a payment for gas. When I pumped gas, it automatically stopped at the amount of $9.62, I tried pumping the nozzle again to see if it would work. I told myself, this is very unusual to happen. One person who happened to be pumping gas on his car asked me if there was any problem, and so I told him that I paid 10.00 cash to the guy working at the cash register and but it did not allow me to receive the full amount of gas that I paid for. He told me to notify the guy (cash register) about what happened, because he said that he personally have experienced it himself several times, the nice gentlemen said quoted "tell the cashier because he always does that to rip people off!". When I came up to the cashier and tried to explain him what just happened, he argued with me, in front of other customers that was behind me and told me that somehow, I paused pumping gas causing it to fully stop. Bottom line is, people who works here are very rude, dishonest, and they are thieves who steals money from poor people like me. This is not what a great and honest business transaction is all about. People are struggling with money and these disgraceful type of people who works in this business industry should immediately be fired, or they should be sent to jail for stealing money from public people who most of the time, rarely pays attention. read more
