Customer service at this location really needs improvement. Before you can use the restroom, you…read moreare required to either purchase something or pump gas in order to receive the bathroom code. The cashier repeatedly reminded everyone of this policy, which felt unnecessary and frustrating, especially for travelers who simply need a quick restroom stop. While it's technically possible to use the bathroom if someone holds the door open for you, the policy itself feels unwelcoming and inconvenient. It gives the impression that customer comfort is secondary to making a sale. Chevron might see this as a clever way to boost revenue, but it's disappointing for customers. If you're on the road, I'd recommend finding another gas station that offers basic amenities, like restroom access, without additional hoops to jump through. I personally will not be returning to this location.

Conveniently located off the 55 at E. McFadden & Village Way on the west side of the 55. The station is clean with plenty of driveway entrances and parking should you need go inside. The property is very large as it sits on the corner. 55 South entrance is right down Village Way, while you need to go back over the freeway to catch 55 North. The pumps (both gasoline & hydrogen) are located far enough away from their respective tanks therefore if the large tankers arrive, they don't block out any part of the station. Plenty of space in between pumps. Whether you have an ICE vehicle or Hydrogen EV, this station is great! Highly recommend if you use Shell gasoline or need hydrogen fuel.

I do believe one caveat is that they do close at midnight, sometimes a bit earlier as I've seen, so it's not bad to grab gas on your way back home as long as you're not out too long, and it's a great way to avoid the usual crowd that knows this is where to go. They used to not take Apple Pay, and now they do, which brings them to the 21st century and makes them as modern as any of the big chains. I'm sure the savings is because they don't have to pay as much for a fancy logo. It's a convenient location that gets you back on major roads quick, so it's no surprise that this place wins on every front. TIP: Be wary that it's not a 24/7 joint.

Once I did, he handed me **$220 in cash** and explained that the vacuum had sucked it up from underneath my seat while they were cleaning my car. I honestly had no idea the money was even there, and it would have been very easy for someone to keep it and never say a word. Instead, this employee went out of his way to find me and return every dollar. Honesty and integrity like that are hard to find these days. I was so impressed by his character and professionalism that I happily gave him a **$40 tip** to show my appreciation. Thank you to the team at Santiago Hand Wash for employing such honest people. I asked for the restroom code because, after spending $60+ at this establishment, I figured using the restroom and washing my hands before leaving wasn't exactly an unreasonable request. He tells me the restroom is "closed." Mind you, this was before 9 PM. I leave and head back to my car, only to notice him shortly afterward moving the mops and buckets that were conveniently blocking the restroom doors when I came in. So apparently the restroom wasn't closed. You just didn't feel like getting up and moving the things blocking it. Lazy ass bum. That's actually worse. If you're going to be lazy, at least be consistent enough to commit to the lie. I would've been better off spending my $60 somewhere that understands the very basic concept of customer service. Definitely won't be going back. Some people really do the bare minimum and still somehow manage to make that look like too much effort.
