Customer service at this location really needs improvement. Before you can use the restroom, you are required to either purchase something or pump gas in order to receive the bathroom code. The cashier repeatedly reminded everyone of this policy, which felt unnecessary and frustrating, especially for travelers who simply need a quick restroom stop. While it's technically possible to use the bathroom if someone holds the door open for you, the policy itself feels unwelcoming and inconvenient. It gives the impression that customer comfort is secondary to making a sale. Chevron might see this as a clever way to boost revenue, but it's disappointing for customers. If you're on the road, I'd recommend finding another gas station that offers basic amenities, like restroom access, without additional hoops to jump through. This Chevron is close to the 5 fwy. which is VERY convenient for me. I've been here at various hours throughout the day and night and have had no issues. I used to pay cash to save a few bucks but since quarantine I've used my card at the pump and notice the price stated on the marquee is the price for card and cash. I've only had one encounter with the employee that works in the morning and she's not super friendly but she's not mean either. read more

They're the most expensive station around- drive 1/4 mile west to Broadway x 17th and you'll find 3 stations $1/gallon cheaper!! I work in the gas industry and there is NO difference in quality of gas as it's all refined at the same refineries, so don't believe the hype about "cheap gas". If u MUST have Chevron, just buy a case of Techron at Costco when it's on sale and pour it in ur tank if u want lol... the tankers just pour Techron in the tank when they pick up. Also it's an industry joke that they always say their restroom is out of order! That usually means that the maintenance of the station overall is crap! read more

Went here with my wife and two kids. My four year old daughter was yelling, "I need to pee. I'm about to pee my pants." There is a bathroom outside of the gas station that's locked. We run into gas station and ask attendant (older gentlemen) if she can use the restroom and he told us no. No public bathrooms. All the meanwhile she's crossing her legs and still yelling. He told us to go to Target (mind you it's closed because it's Easter). We told him Target was closed, to which he replied, "not my problem." They charge a lot for gas when there's cheaper alternatives down the street, also the bathroom thing turns out has been an issue for over 6 years. I saw a review from two years ago where they let a little kid pee themselves. Building also looked ran down. It's also AGAINST THE LAW to have an inoperable restroom within 660 feet of major highways. "California requires service stations that started operating on or after January 1, 1990 and are located within 660 feet of major highways to have clean and sanitary public restrooms. An intentional violation--one lasting for five consecutive days--is an infraction, punishable by a fine of up to $50 per day (Cal. Bus. and Prof. Code §§ 13651 & 13652). (AB 31, currently before the legislature, defines "clean and functional" standards that restrooms would have to meet. I was on the freeway when I noticed my car was vibrating violently. I then proceeded to exit and made it safe to chevron gas station. I checked my tires and just as I suspected flat tire. I then walked into the store/gas station were an older short gentlemen askedme what I needed. I told him I need Air to pump from a machine located outside the station. He said no then said can't you read the machine has a button go push it . I then asked if he sold and tire repair kits ,he said there was a autozone down the street I then asked if it was ok to leave my car there while I walked to the nearest autozone he said no once again and said he would call a tow truck. the intire time it was raining and he was very rude . Whats the point of having a convince store and a sign that says 24 hours service. I was going to get gas and a energy drink. The cashier didn't even talk at all and even had "GAS ONLY" on a receipt paper. Nor we can use the restroom. What is the point of paying an employee if nothin will be open. Screw this gas station. The guy name is SONY. I was gonna pull gas today, I was gonna buy some drinks and chocolates. When I approach to pay this freaking guy name SONY started giving me attitude! I'm those type of guys that get heated up really quick and don't take bullshit from no one! So I told him to take a chill pill and don't give attitude! Went there to put gas at night. Worker locked my card somehow. Charged me twice for gas and when i asked if he voided the charges nicely he started yelling and telling me to "fuck off" and he doesn't give a "fuck" and to get the "fuck" out of there. read more

This place has no working restrooms. Its a gas station thats falling apart and the owner is too cheap to fix it. If you have to pump gas and take a leak i recommend to go to a fully functional gas station with working restrooms. read more

Horrible place. The guy accused me of doing fraud because my credit card didn't have my middle name he didn't even swipe my card. I showed him 3 different Id's all with a photo and he had the nerve to write my info down all I wanted was a pack of cigarettes, I was so confused and upset. Then I asked for his name he told me to fuck off. I was so shocked . I even advised I had the pin to my card he wouldn't accept it. Just cause my bank is a credit union. Wish I could give this a ZERO. The man behind the counter was SOOOOOOOO rude. My car tire went flat on the 5 freeway. This was the closest gas station. I pulled in (with two kids in tow) and I parked by the air, so I could see if I could fill it. It turns out it was too flat. So I called AAA. He came out and yelled at me (woman alone with two kids) and said I couldn't "park there" - despite my OBVIOUS flat tire. He didn't care.
