A tight crusty parking but it is for free and considering it is in downtown now that is a deal. The inside of the store is really packed with everything. I mean from frozen goods to ice cream and to your local pharmacy. I actually just mention some of the perks because if you lost your walker then this is it. So my review is based on the pharmacy department. Take into consideration that it is a really busy store and knowing that I come to pick-up my parents meds. I always go in with no real rush. Nice pharmacy staff I have not had a problem. Except the pixie glass it can be annoying I can not hear nothing. Maybe it's me just going deaf I dunno or the mask. However the staff is professional. Mask are still very much enforced due to the zipcode area having the highest covid-19 cases. So if you come in from the coast cities then consider yourself forewarned.

When I go in (at least once a week), I am immediately identified by the cashier who then communicates over the loud speaker for one of his or her co workers to head to the ice cream section where I am immediately served. The chocolate malted crunch and the rocky road are just as I remember it as a kid growing up when the store was actually named thrifty. I have prescription for controlled substances which has me going to the Dr to physically pick up the RX every month(hassle)thank you DEA I expect to be able to have a RX filled within the same day. At CVS I am able to pick up my prescription the same day w/o being told they have to order the drug & it takes 3 days to get (rite Aid 111 n main takes 3+ days, longer if they screw it up). I understand there are lines ((not always)) and when there is be prepared to wait. (Waiting @CVS is more quick than 3 days). Before this store was remodeled the people behind the counter were the most HORRIFIC , RUDE, COLD, UNRESPONSIVE, I say this as I was in line standing to drop off ( there were no other customers ) and I waited for the lady that was standing at the spot where you give them your rx, she was looking down.... I waited 5 minutes she said NOTHING, then a co-worker walked up next to her & began chatting (bullshit ting )), he looked me directly in the eye, neither has said MAY I HELP YOU? DID U NEED TO DROP OFF YOUR RX? NADA was asked! I patiently waited for another 7 minutes as they're still talking.......Finally after 15+ minutes I said EXCUSE me, I've been patiently standing in line waiting to drop off my prescription and NEITHER OF YOU asked if I needed help!l. So the guy asked me CAN I HElP YOU? I said NO, I'm waiting for this RUDE LADY TO LOOK UP and notice she has had a customer waiting in line for a very long time whilst doing nothing but talking to one another, so than she said give me your prescription, so I handed it to her and she took the thing glanced and set it in a box without asking me anything further, nothing.. I asked her, I see you're really busy do you know how long this will take ? She says you see All of the prescriptions I have to put in the system? I don't know how long it'll be, at least 1hour! I looked at her facial expression and really wanted to slap her, I Said GIVE ME MY PRESCRIPTION YOU ARE THE RUDEST MOST UNHELPFUL PERSONS I'VE EVER MET IN ALL MY 55 YEARS OF LIFE & YOU NEED TO BE FIRED! They text me when my rx is ready for pick up and notify me when I'm due for a rx refill. Very convenient. I left another pharmacy (not gonna mention names but it starts with a C and ends with a S) because most of the time they were out of my meds and needed to order them, which took days sometimes. The place always had long lines for pick ups for scripts no matter what time of day. So I left there and went to Rite Aid. Have been happy ever since.

There's an ATM inside the Extra Mile convenience store and every time I've been here it's clean and not crowded. The cashiers are always nice and it's well lit outside.
