The selection was good, they had a lot of choices in craft beers. You won't regret walking in to the beer cave, freezing your ass off! Store is small, but gets longer as you walk in. Prices are good & accessible parking in large shopping plaza. The Young guy that was there as we walked in, gave me kind of odd vibe & appeared stand-offish, especially since my husband was trying to say a few words to him in a joking manner. (typical friendly customer banter) As we walked out, we realized why he was dry & felt like he was trying to get us out. He locked the doors and walked away towards subway (?maybe, I didn't see him go in there). Another car parked in front & young dude came tried open the doors & we told him to wait a few, the guy took off maybe to grab food. He really should put a "back in a few minutes"sign on door, it's kinda a put off especially when you don't know what's up trying to go in. Buying items from this Red Barn liquor store hasn't been a problem. But tonight when I noticed a whole bunch of discarded lottery scratchers and tried to take them out of the trash can. But the employee stopped me and he also had to call his manager or he'd get in trouble. Those were discarded scratchers for entering them into 2nd chance like I have been doing since I discovered the feature. But the employee had no idea what I was doing. Other liquor or even other stores hasn't been giving me an hassle for scanning them and putting them back... So I bought some tickets there at that Red Barn liquor store tonight and won't let me scan the discarded tickets... read more

I usually come here when I go to Waba Grill next door to get a beer. They have a good selection and for the most part, the owners are friendly. This last time, I went to the back cooler to get me an Allagash White and when I turn around to leave the cooler, the lady was just standing there staring at me. I don't need to to be followed around and have someone keep an eye on me. If the lady thinks I'm going to go in and steal a $3 beer, she is confused. What makes it worse is that another employee was fixing a display in the back, he was nice enough to say hello and kept doing his work. I would rather go to the dairy on Main St and pay a little more then come here and have someone tail me around the liquor store. read more

Country Store Liquor isn't exactly out in the "country", unless you consider Corona to be the boonies, as some do. Anyway, like an old-fashioned country store, CSL does have that "barn" look that was in for a hot minute in the late 60s and early 70s, which is when this place must have been built. Both softcore and hardcore liquor are available here, at prices about 15% higher than you'd expect at a supermarket -- but c'mon, it's convenient. The country store proprietors (two Middle-Eastern guys, one surly and the other friendly) will not judge you as they wrap brown paper around your hooch -- nor will they ask you where you're going, dressed like a hoochie. Snacks, small household items (like a mini sewing kit or soap) are available, too, making this place an awful lot like a mom and pop 7-11, except with vodka, and with the mom and pop being two porn-mustached men who, while fabulous, could never actually be "FABULOUS..." If you're looking for lottery scratchers and 'ish like that you can get it here, too, so you can think of Country Store Liquor like a cut-rate casino in the middle of Corona. Oh, and yes -- unlike 7-11, this store sells porn. LOTS of porn. And I mean lots. This place is so sketchy. We bought a 12 pack of small cans and 2 drinks and when the owner checked us out he didn't tell us the total. This morning we check to see we were charged $85!! We were buying water and looking for soap and she yelled at my boyfriend for going down an aisle, because he didn't buy anything from that isle. I asked her if she had soap and she rudely told me no and to ask her next time instead of going down the isle?? I told her she needed to be nicer to people after I put back the waters and she followed us out the store and said we need to be more respectful? The barn is still there for the time being but they moved right behind it to the new store front next to harbor freight. It is only about half the size but now has its own separate craft beer refrigerated nook. Same friendly service and same great selection. Keep supporting local businesses. read more

WARNING! This business (THE COUNTRY LIQUOR STORE on Sixth Street in Corona, CA) was SOOOO UNETHICAL with me. I bought some Pringles there last night. When I got home and ate one it tasted like stale, old, bad, cooking oil. I almost vomitted. After checking the EXPIRATION DATE, I noticed that they EXPIRED 2YEARS AGO! That's right, THE FOOD PRODUCT THAT I PURCHASED AT THE COUNTRY LIQUOR STORE ON SIXTH STREET IN CORONA, CA EXPIRED 2 YEARS AGO.!!! UNBELIEVEABLE!!! I paid $2.19 plus tax for these, plus they charged me $.50 for using my ATM. I had them pull their whole shelf of 2-year-expired Pringles off the shelf. Then when I brought them back for a refund the next day they gave me $2.00, acting like I WAS INCONVENIENCING THEM! He said that the price on the current unexpired Pringles was $1.79, not the $2.19 that I paid, and that I purchased other items so he's not giving me the $2.19 plus tax, nor is he crediting the $.50 either. Note: Their receipts only show totals, and not the individual items. I felt like these guys were crooks, and that I was being robbed and could do nothing about it.
