Some of the cheapest gas around, if you're ever in the Downtown Santa Ana area, come here to fuel up whether you need it or not. I do believe one caveat is that they do close at midnight, sometimes a bit earlier as I've seen, so it's not bad to grab gas on your way back home as long as you're not out too long, and it's a great way to avoid the usual crowd that knows this is where to go. They used to not take Apple Pay, and now they do, which brings them to the 21st century and makes them as modern as any of the big chains. I'm sure the savings is because they don't have to pay as much for a fancy logo. It's a convenient location that gets you back on major roads quick, so it's no surprise that this place wins on every front. TIP: Be wary that it's not a 24/7 joint. read more

Google shows closing at Midnight. I had 6 miles of gas left in my car and this lazy guy wanted to close up shop early. Then when I held him accountable, he wanted to throw his hands up at me like I had inconvenienced him by needing gas, at a gas station, during HOURS OF OPERATION! Hire better help. Not these lazy guys. If they need time to close up shop. Make your hours of operation 11pm. Give him an hour to close. read more

US Gas - Gas Stations Near Me - Santa Ana, California

Diko was very helpful, knowledgeable & professional in assessing the repairs needed for our BMW 328i. I found him to be honest, trustworthy & reasonably priced. The work he did was excellent & I'd highly recommend him to anyone! read more

Friendly staff, Acknowledgeable mechanic and get the job done on time. Will recommend them for sure.

Good little gas station that truly is the lowest price in the area. How are they this low, especially being right on/off the freeway exit? It's a mystery, but not in my wheelhouse to solve. I'll just keep coming here for gas when I can. Two downsides to this station. 1- It gets packed, and you can end up waiting or being diverted to somewhere else if you can't wait or there is no space to pull in. 2- They don't have a lot of room to maneuver around the gas pump islands. Try to get the correct side that your gas filler is on the first time. If you make a mistake, it's hard to pull around to switch sides. But if you are aware, you can make it happen. Nice little market inside for those last-minute essentials. There can be some homeless people around sometimes, just make sure to shut and lock your doors if you need to go inside for something while fueling. I've never had anything happen, but I am normally cautious anyway. If you want to save a few bucks, or a lot of bucks if you drive a Suburban, give this place a try. read more

Great place to get gas busy at times and their price is pretty much match Costco in Tustin

Everyone within 10 miles of this place knows this gas station has the cheapest gas around. I stop by once a week here and it's conveniently located right off the 55 freeway. The station's layout is really odd. It has a lot of cramped areas where it's not easy to get in and out of quickly. There are times where you have to do like a 7 point turn just to align yourself to the pump. I feel like they should add two more pumps but with the smog check garage there, it'd be even more cramped. The clerk that's usually there with a reddish beard is probably the only employee there that's nice. He's always been a pleasure to speak to. I hadn't had any issues with customer service until today. Today Fri 7/14, I was confused to find both doors locked. I saw everyone else pumping gas without any issues so I asked the two women at Pump 1 if they were closed. One of them told me they had a sign at the window saying the cashier would be back, that they're using the bathroom. When I turned back, sure enough I saw this little scratch piece of paper with scrawled writing that said the cashier will be back in 5 mins for a bathroom break. I can tell you that the sign was not nearly big enough for anyone to notice. I sure didn't. I finally heard a click at the door and assumed the cashier had just unlocked it. I pulled at both but they were still locked. That was when I thought I heard him say "pull it, pull it!" so I continued pulling, but both doors wouldn't open. I once again heard him say "pull it, pull it" and I figured the doors were stuck so I pulled harder than ever. Still wouldn't open. I laid off the doors and that was when the cashier - different guy than the one I'm used to seeing at the counter - was able to unlock them and stuck his head out to suddenly yell at me. "I said hold on, hold on, don't you understand?!?" I told him I couldn't hear nor understand him through the door and he just repeated himself saying that he said "hold on, hold on" and that he couldn't open it since I had kept pulling on the doors. Again, I told him it was hard to understand what he was saying through the doors and he had angrily gestured at the tiny piece of paper and said "I have a sign right there that says bathroom break." Yeah, that I didn't even notice. He continued arguing with me about me pulling on the doors and I was just so baffled that he kept on yelling, I just stood there. Really was debating on whether or not to leave but I knew he couldn't care less if I did. Don't yell at your customers, man. It's a really bad look. Especially when it's not obvious why your doors are locked and it's hard to understand you. Do better. read more

I've stopped here several times only to see a sign on the door saying their closed. He is rude asf, don't even acknowledge you wen ur standing there waiting for him to come to the window. They act like their busy. Wen he does cone to window, takes him 10 mins to get there moves like a slug. Guess they really don't need the business. Fck em I'll go else where! read more

Great service, Alia at the counter is very friendly and helpful. Used to drive right past it, but not anymore.

Stopped to use the restroom and to get snacks on a road trip . There was only one bathroom (women's) so me and my spouse same gender both went in to make it quicker . And when we came out he told us next time don't do that you can only do that in a family restroom but you can't do that here . So apparently you can't go into the bathroom at the same time . You connect the dots ....very agressive about it . I would never go here again . Would give a zero if I could read more

This is the least expensive gas around. Worth pumping your car here during these trying times. I pay with a credit card and never had an issue. read more

Way too crowded gas station. Got approached by a weirdo who was trying to get into my car. Not sure if he was trying to steal my car, take my bag pack, or even kidnap me because he tried to get close to me... Super sketchy gas station... will never go back read more

LOWEST gas prices in many miles around. They are always busy. You may have to wait a few minutes to get to an available pump. Cashier inside gets a bit overwhelmed at times, he'd fast but soooo many customers getting gas, using restrooms, paying for their smog check or oil change. A bit hectic inside cashier area. But worth the extra minute or two to save several bucks on a tank of gas. Cheapest gas prices in all Orange County. read more

Super-cheap gas station in a good location. It's not high-end, it's not pretty... but you're not choosing a day spa, you're trying to fill up your tank for less than $75. I went inside and interacted with the clerk to ask for the restroom. He was perfectly nice and polite. In and out, biological needs met. No problems. Not much else to say. read more

Cheaper then almost any gas and good enough ! Not much more to say about a gas station !

I have gone to this place maybe a total of 3 or 4 times, i always use my card at the pump but for somw reason 2 of those times the guy cancels the transaction and machine tells me to come inside for whatever reason. Then today it happend again,i go inside and the guy on the register was maskless and sniffling. Yeah, i will definitely not nw going back. read more

I go to gas stations to buy gas. I don't care what is in the store, or how nice the pavement is, or how shiny the pumps. I want gas, and I want to pay as little for it as I can. And here, I get cheap gas. Since they don't refine their own, they buy on the spot market. So one day you may get gas coming out of the Tesoro Refinery, and another day you may get gas out of.. the other Tesoro Refinery, and you may not get so-and-so brand's world beating detergent additive, but you do get a detergent additive, and gas is gas. read more

The gas here is cheaper than the other two stations. I don't know about the mechanics though. The cashier has always been friendly with me. The station is a bit run down. It was nice when it was Shell.Shell moved where Texaco was. The pumps are ghetto but as long as they work I don't care. Seems funny to see the workers smoking all the time. read more

I'm not sure what other people are writing about... this gas station was fine.. the casheir was really cool and nice and he help me to pump the gas in my car.. the inside of the store was organized and clean and they have lot of snack option read more

If you pump gas from this station, i recommend you check how much you buy and then check how much gas you get from your dashboard gauge. Something is not right, ... i hope they are inspecting their pumps. read more

Lowest gas prices in town, by a lot! Today was 50 cents less than it was across the street! Then, me and Tara have had a winning scratcher for over a week now, because nobody could scan it in the machine to process it as a winning ticket... I tried cashing this ticket at least 15 different places... But then I went here and told the guy working about it (his name is Modar). He told me to go get the scratcher and let him see it, so I went back and grabbed it from my truck. Modar typed it in manually (since it couldn't scan) and waalah! It cashed out! Talk about good customer service! Recap: lowest gas prices, best workers, Modar, you're the man! 5 Stars! read more

What I don't get is that there are 3 gas stations all across from each other in this one section. This place is the cheapest by at least 20 cents consistently. Reading the other reviews I have to say, really, cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it. Gas stations are not Ritz Carleton's. This place has cheap, affordable gas. It has a great location, and did I mention cheap? Love it. read more

I once had a love...and it was a gas...soon found out... Oh never mind! Great cheap gas prices, better than anybody around. I go here to fill up for trips and weekends. It's not a Extra Mile or anything...basically you just buy gas...no frills...maybe grab an energy drink while you're at it. Keep it cheap! read more

Fraud Alert - Inspectors seal from the department of weights and measures broken or missing on ALL pumps. The pumps have been tampered with internally and calibrated to short the paying customer. I normally wouldn't take a car for a smog test unless the location is Test Only, but I was short on time and these guys were close-by, so I gave these guys a try. I was worried that the car would fail and they'd sell me some repairs to pass it, but that was not the case at all. Easy in, easy out, I was done in 15 minutes. Service was great and 'Auzzie' took good care of me. Smog test prices were great and I didn't even need a coupon. Highly recommend. read more

The dealer told me I had to change my entire A/C system for $2,500. Diko found that there was a line behind an ashtray on the wall in my Sprinter Van that came loose and rubbed a hole in an aluminum A/C line. He had it welded and fixed for a very low price. It has been working well after the repair for a year now. Now he does all of my repairs. This is a very reputable establishment. Thank you Diko and Azmi for always being fair and honest. I highly recommend US Gas for all your auto repair needs. read more

I've been coming to this gas station for years and have never had a bad experience here. I always get good customer service and they are attentive. Gas is usually very cheap here so I'm a fan! read more

Great prices awful customer service. This line essentially sums up this gas station. The guy that seems to always works there acts like your simple presence is a personal insult. Many times he's been on the phone and completely ignored me, or he'll sit outside smoking and make no rush to go inside and help you. He's never said a friendly word to me and he never smiles. But the gas is cheap.. :-/ read more

I went inside to pay for gas for the first time as I got a msg on the card reader to "see cashier." I was told that there would be a charge of $.45 for paying by debit card inside, a charge that is not applied if you pay at the pump for some reason. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to argue so I said to go ahead. When I got the debit card statement, I found that I was charged $.90!!! I go to this station purely for the convenience (and the prices are in line with the rest of the stations around), but I am so mad that I was overcharged! Now I have to waste more time to go and argue!! I know it is only $.45 but it is the principle!! I probably will not go back to this station again!! read more

I had a rough night because my mom was in the trauma unit in the hospital down the street (she's okay now, but was hit by a car). I called ahead to see if US Gas had iPhone chargers since my mom's phone was nearly dead. Mike answered and said that they did. I drove down about 20 minutes later and he was clearly on his break. I told him not to bother himself, and I'd let him know when I was ready. Nonetheless, he stopped what he was doing to ask if I was the one who called about the charger. I told him yes and he showed me where the different ones were and made sure I got the best deal. I thanked him and told him a little bit about my mom, and he was so genuinely kind and concerned. He gave me some nice advice and told me about some experiences he'd had. I really appreciated his empathy and kindness, and the time he took to talk to me. Just a nice reminder that there are good people all around us. Had to give him a little shout out! read more

I went to this gas station on 5/31/17. After inserting my debit card, I realized they were out of 91 gas and cancelled the transaction at the pump. The transaction never would say cancelled, only "cancelling," or something like that. I went inside and asked the man to manually cancel the transaction. He said it would cancel out over time. I waited and waited for it to show cancelled. By then, the man was sitting in a chair out front with another man and a little table. I again said, please manually cancel the transaction inside. His response as he sat there, "It will cancel, I guarantee you!" I said, "Your 'guarantee' means nothing to me. I don't know you." He refused to cancel the transaction or come to see what the issue was - just sat there with his friend. I realized there was a Chevron across the street and left and went there. I KNEW I needed to call my bank right then and cancel my debit card. But...laziness got the better of me as I had about 20 payments linked to this card, so I hoped for the best. Exactly 1 week later, I had 10 unauthorized transactions on my debit card - most for ITunes and two to Pac Sun in Anaheim. THIS STATION HAS A CARD READER IN IT'S PUMP. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS GAS STATION IS PART OF THE SCAM OR IF THEY ARE INNOCENT. My guess is this man is part of the scam and he just sits on his chair with his little table and watches the innocent get taken... part of his sociopathic game! DON'T GO TO THIS STATION!! read more
