I stopped to add gas to Diana's car at the Chevron Station at 17241 17th Street in Tustin, ca. The place was clean and the cashier was nice and friendly. This was my first time at this location. I looked around for my sweet tooth but I didn't find what I was looking for. The car took the whole $40 that I gave the cashier. I washed all the car windows, and cleaned the car a little. Avoid this gas station. They price gouge on gas prices. You can drive a few minutes further to the 7-11 for 30 cents cheaper. Also the attendants are rude and lazy. They will not sell you propane if they don't feel like it, they will have long stupid conversations with each other while you are standing there waiting to pay, and they will not honor the sales prices. They say you have to have a extra mile reward card but they won't let you sign up for one. These idiots need to work on their customer service or the owner should fire them for new staff. read more

No longer a Chevron, which is why it's probably so terrible now. Fool me once, shame on you, fool you twice, shame on me. They have a big banner out front advertising $4 express wash. Yet, when you go to get a wash, the cheapest they have is $5. I double checked the banner to see if there is any small print or terms (like you have to buy gas) nope. Completely false advertising. Car wash was ok, for $5 it's pretty hard to complain. Then I make the mistake of returning for a fill up and an attempt to use their squeegees to clean my windows. Their squeegees are so old, warped and dried out that the rubber blades don't make anything but a smeary mess of your windows. I come here because it's clean, it's right next to the freeway, it's an easy in and out and they've got a car wash for around $5 with a fill-up. I'd give it a 4 star rating if the gas prices were lower, but that'll happen when monkeys fly out of my butt, huh. read more

I get the feeling that this is a sister station to the one at the 17th St. exit off the 55... always similar (average) prices. Anyway, this one has a lot of pumps, a decent sized convenience store (17th St. is bigger), and a car wash (17th St. doesn't have one). But given to poor location or poor design, it's pretty hard to get out of this station. Getting in can be a challenge as well. Be willing to use the parking lots and alley to navigate! read more

Though they offer one of the few drive-thru car washes in the area, there are many areas that could be improved. First and foremost - customer service. If I have to ask questions, pay for gas or purchase a car wash slip from an employee talking on their phone I'm gonna freak. There is a major lack of professionalism at this location. This gas station has switched to Mobil and is no longer with Chevron. The address on the receipt is TUSTIN MOBIL, 17241, IVINE BLVD. TUSTIN, C.A ( Irvine is misspelled). Folks, beware of the car wash here. I was cheated twice between what I paid for as per the listed Ultimate car wash features and the actual car wash which was basic. Twice I was charged $8 for the Ultimate car wash and what happened was minimal amount of soap used and that was it. The air drying went on for a long time, I guess since air is free. When I punched in, I was told to pay an additional dollar for the ultimate and to add insult to injury, what I got was the basic wash. The first time this happened I raised it with the lady at the cash counter who rebuffed me stating that nothing was incorrect. This time when I raised it with the elderly gentleman at the cash counter saying that I am not looking for a refund but I'd like to give the feedback that there must be something wrong with the car wash settings, he stubbornly insisted that nothing is wrong and I got what I paid for. He was rude and gruff and stated that if I saw rainbow colors from the soap, that was the correct wash. I'm not sure if this has something to do with the change from Chevron to Mobil but Mobil should look into this. I've been using this gas station for over 15 years now and only after this change if management has this started to happen. read more

It's the gas station on the corner of the busiest onramp to 55N. It's okay but rather tedious to navigate around the attempts to exit.

I understand all the bad reviews but I think many are not giving the new management a chance. I went there when their and purchased a car wash at the pump. However I then noticed the long line so decided to come back the next day. I came back the next day and my code did not work. I went in the store and the attendant told me I have to wait for management to come. I didn't have time to wait so I left. I tried calling throughout the day but the number was not working. I then showed up two days later and found management there. I explained the situation to them and they not only gave me a car wash but they upgraded it as well. They were very courteous and apologized for the inconvenience. Customer service means a lot and that alone is why I will come back to this place. read more

I drove through the car wash and management was walking in and I asked them if I could get a number to access the car wash and she was very rude and told me she could not do anything. Horrible management and customer service. Purchased a car wash with a full tank of gas and when I went to put my code in, the wash wouldn't start. The attendant absolutely refused to assist me saying I would have to wait for the manager...who wouldn't be there until the next day. She wouldn't call him or anything.
