Yes, I know gas is high, but was it infused with crushed diamonds and the tears of overworked angels? Because whew. The pump was slower than a toddler putting on shoes. It's says 24 but when I go there at 12am or later it's always closed. I have not been the only one who's experience this. Other coworkers have told me they avoid this gas station and go to shells 1-2 min away from here because they are open. read more

Don't get gas here. Their pumps have been eating cards for years. I keep forgetting so after the last couple years I've probably been half a dozen times. Every time I go, I put my card in the card reader. The card reader locks it and then it doesn't read my card. I have to mash cancel and wait five minutes for me to give me back the card and then I have to walk inside anyway. I figured it was just a temporary problem but it literally has been happening for years. Doesn't matter which pump. Or I'm just the unlucky one that keeps getting the busted pumps. I think this gas station is located in the Marketplace since I previously saw a coupon for it. It's in the back and has its own entrance. I put the credit card in the machine, pumped gas, and there were no issues with it, having to interact with no humans. It functioned well as a gas station. read more

Never really like the prices at Cheveron so that's why minus a star, but I love and appreciate this location for one reason, their staff tonight. Terrible customer service had me sitting there for 5 mins when there are two dudes at the register helping one man . The Indian dude made eye contact and continue pretending like he was occupied. Finally it's my turn and I notice that the Indian dude quickly verbally acknowledge the customer that came in the store and help her right away has for me I had to wait five mins that's a long time in a gas station when there only two ppl in the store and two cashiers on hand! There is a reason why it's never packed. They are not up-front with their pricing, and they turn people like me away. I pulled in last week to get gas, at $4.07/gallon for regular gasoline. When I filled up my car with my Amex card, I noticed that the price was at $4.14/gallon! The sign said that the price does not apply for debit card, but no mention of American Express! I went inside to tell them to charge on my Visa instead, they told me to put the gasoline back into their pump, then they would refund my money and redo the transaction. Why didn't these jack asses just tell me to pound sand instead? I would have been less upset that way. The way the clerk treated me is not acceptable in any way or fashion. If they could not redo the transaction, the least they could have done was to apologize for not making the sign clear. First, let me start by prefacing that I don't visit this gas station for gas... That'd make too much sense. Instead, I visit this place for their goods that they sell, mainly energy drinks and lotto tickets (I can't function without Rockstar energy drinks, and thus far my '10 year plan' includes winning the lottery...but I digress). As far as 'convenience' is concerned, they are awesome. The actual gas pump lines can range from "this is taking forever" to "creepy empty" like most gas stations. The men behind the counter are always nice. Not the "I-hate-you-but-I'm-pretending-to-be-nice", but like legitimate nice and actually recognize me now that I have been in there a few 10-25 times. It's in a convenient location and easy to get in and out. The mini-mart is a bit on the smaller side, but has basic drinks, snacks and candy. There isn't a marked direction for the gas lanes, like at some stations, so you need to be careful someone's not driving into your same lane. read more

Horrible experience at this Chevron gas station at 2740 Bryon Ave., Tustin, CA 92782. Buyer BE AWARE. This place will scam your money!! Do NOT go here. They happily took my money when I go in to buy a gas card for my granddaughter but when my granddaughter go to use it there's a ZERO balance. I have a lot of problems at gas stations, as some of you may have noticed by now. This one is one of the worst gas stations I've been to. Last night's experience was likely the final straw and I'll be boycotting this one, despite its close proximity to me, from now on. 1) If you do Credit (instead of Debit), it doesn't even show up as pending on your bank account until a good few days later. I'm not a checkbook balancer (I know, I know) so this is really annoying. 2) We purposely took our cars to fill up at this one because we also needed air in our tires. Post-filling up, we're attempting to put air in the tires, when we discover that it's likely broken. I go inside to raise a ruckus and the snarky a-hole of an attendant tells me it's "out-of-service." No apology, no nothing. It won't be fixed until today or tomorrow. All I could think was, "Who the heck do you think you are? You are just a gas station attendant. Get yourself off your freakin' high horse, you jerk." Would it be a problem for you to even stick up a sign (like "out-of-order") so we don't stand out there attempting to fill a tire with non-existent air, you pompous donkeybutt? This is after I waited like 5 minutes to talk to him because the guy in line was getting directions from another customer and the attendant was enthralled by it, even after the transaction for like 7 boxes of cigarettes was over. Not that he was adding anything useful to the conversation. By the way, have you ever heard a gas station attendant tell someone they won't accept twenties? What? 3) Oh, and if you need a receipt for tax purposes, you better press the "yes" option really fast because in the time it takes for you to cap your tank, it'll be too late and you'll have to go inside. Be careful buying gift card from this store. MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - I purchased a $100 gift card from this gas station. A week later, I received a call from the recipient that the card balance was "zero" when he FIRST attempted to use it at his local Chevron. Long story short which was very inconvenient for me getting the card back and walking into this gas station where I had originally purchased. Three of the staff told me to come back next day when the store manager comes in, then she would be able to run the card activity and so on. Next day, I came back to see the store manager. She was first cordially and said she would have no problem of running the card's activity and find out what's going. The Store Manager took quite a bit of time at her register punching numbers, called a few places, then SHE CHANGED HER STORY. Store Manager later told me that when she provided the gift-receipt indicated a balance of $100 at the time of purchased, she had "done her job" and "anything outside of her store's premises, she is not responsible for. She cannot run the account history, or activities, but only able to tell me that my card worth "zero". Should I have any more concern, call the phone number on the card myself. I wanted to be fair and I expected the business held some accountability when the business took my money in exchange for that gift card. I ONLY ASK for the account history if they said that the $100 gift card I purchased was used up - Just showed it to me then I would be okay that. She went in her office, called the cop on me. I believe that the store manager knew where my $100 disappeared to - when she changed her demeanor and tried to get rid off me. By the way, one of the cop seems smart and understand the situation but did not want to get too involved. The other one seems to have worked on the street most his life; thus, he demonstrated lack of professionalism in tone and cluelessness of the word 'accountability' in day-to-day businesses. The employees are great. But this new manager is a BITCH. I seen for the first time 2 weeks ago when a new employee was handing me my change she snatched it from his hand and started to do it. LET HIM LEARN. She proceed to yell at him in front of me like I was invisible. The next few times she helped me, she was a bitch. Then this morning I go in there to exchange my monster, that I bought there last night, for a new one because it wasn't cold anymore. Stopped here right after I got my car back from the dealership for some electrical issues, first thing I do is unknowingly toss a key component of my car door away (Ford Fusion with hidden key hole cover) and the staff was literally the most pleasant and helpful had station attendant I've ever met and i meet a lot on the road doing ride share and deliveries. Arvind literally walked me around to the trash can, gave me gloves and then got the key to he dumpster as well as a tool to pick up bags out of the dumpster without having to dive in, I mean he could have easily pointed at the dumpster from the cash register and moved on to another customer, but nope, he allowed to me to rummage through the bag and I was able to find the little plastic pain in the neck and not have to worry about my car being stolen again! HORRIBLE !!!!!!! Have had nothing but bad experiences here !!! First, my car only holds 15 gallons of gas , so after I filled, up it rang up 18 1/2 gallons , WTF ??? There was a guy out there wiping down the pumps so I ask him how its possible ? He tells me I need to go inside and see the manager. So I grabbed my owners manual and took it inside with the receipt to find out what the hell is going on, the clerk at the counter tells me I need to see the manager, I said ok can you get the manager for me ? He said yeah, he's out there wiping down the pumps !!! Are you fricken kidding me ???????????? So back out I go and the "Manager" tells me I have to wait and talk to the owner tomorrow !!!! Never got my money back , got screwed out of $13.00. I took it up with corporate and got nowhere there. My gas bill is at least $300.00 a month, and I will NEVER buy Chevron gas again !!! Second , I bought $40 in lottery tickets there, one of the tickets was a $100 winner , so I go back in to get a couple more $10 tickets and my $80 in winnings , the fricken clerk tells me I'm sorry , we only cash winning tickets $50 and under !!!
