Tonight on 6/14/26, around 3:55 AM, a Caucasian male of around 40s-50s, full blonde mustache, blue eyes, either bald or short hair under his hat, wearing a Shell uniform with almost baggy black shorts, black wrist band likely a watch of sorts, was stopping by my place of work as we are open late to shop. Earlier, we had a difficult incident of theft where one individual threatened gun violence, something that I told him and his group he was with that we will be closed for a bit to avoid that scenario coming true. He exclaimed to me no the fuck you're not, you're gonna be open because I need to get milk for my baby. I did not tolerate that behavior and told him forget it I was gonna be nice and let only you in and refused him service, to which he then said fuck you multiple times and other expletives. I wasn't able to get a good look at his name tag as he shined a light from his phone or a flashlight to prevent me from having a good looks but it looks like he was barely leaving work around the time I listed. The next day, The next day when I went to pick it up, the clerk that was there this time was just as willing to help out. She was also incredibly polite and friendly. It seems like she made everybody feel at home when they walked through the door. In a day and age where customer service at gas stations is pretty much unheard of, this place stands out. I'm not much of a gas-hype train type person, worrying about Chevron with Techron or Shell VPower and all that jazz. I've owned cars with motors that needed 91 Octane as well as economy buckets that run on regular 87, and have always pumped here. Never had any issues with this 'cheap' gas really. 9 out of 10 times, they're the cheapest gas station around the area. The 2nd station I visit would be the Shell on Harbor/Garden Grove Blvd.. Otherwise, if you're a Costco member/AMEX (for now), you visit Costco. Ever since I've gotten a drivers license and been able to drive, I've been coming here and they always have the coolest employees working here. No issues with anyone. I'd also like to note that the area is a bit of a popular spot for the homeless to stick around, as it does sit next to the Santa Ana River (unfortunately, where some people call home). So if you pull up and see people picking up trash and what not, don't be alarmed, they're just helping out with the gas station as the station does help them out with food or drinks for their help. And if you need air/water.. it's not free here. You can pay a dollar for air/water or.. be a customer, get gas and ask for the machine to be turned on. Or do what I do and buy an Arizona drink, then ask for the machine to be turned on. Nice to get a drink and air for the tires. :P They also carry snacks, drinks and beer. As well as an ATM inside. Cool little spot, probably my favorite gas station.

The cashier repeatedly reminded everyone of this policy, which felt unnecessary and frustrating, especially for travelers who simply need a quick restroom stop. While it's technically possible to use the bathroom if someone holds the door open for you, the policy itself feels unwelcoming and inconvenient. It gives the impression that customer comfort is secondary to making a sale. Chevron might see this as a clever way to boost revenue, but it's disappointing for customers. If you're on the road, I'd recommend finding another gas station that offers basic amenities, like restroom access, without additional hoops to jump through. I personally will not be returning to this location.
