I wouldn't trust them with a simple oil change. I have taken my car to this mechanic multiple times as I live less than a 5 minute drive away from them. My brakes went out on the car so I came to them, like I usually do. They told me that I can buy the part myself and pay for the labor or have them order the part + labor. I decided to order the part myself because it was almost half the price. I made sure that I ordered the correct part, looked up the make, model, VIN #. It came and when he installed it, my car did work but as soon as the speed exceeded 45mph the steering wheel would aggressively shake and would not go any faster. I could not even drive to work on John Mosby. So of course, I took it back to them. They told me that the part was incorrect and I should have gotten it with them. They told me I would need to pay for labor again if I were to order the part with them. Not having any other option and needing a car for my daily life, I agreed and paid for them to order the part + the labor (again). I've gone back and forth with them so many times, each time they said they "fixed my car" the problem persisted. They were becoming upset that I jAlthough the shaking did improve a bit, it was still there. And it wasn't light shaking, i'm talking hard jolts from side to side while driving. I went to 3 other mechanics, they said whatever they did to my car was completely incorrect and uncalled for. On top of that, it was time for my emissions to be renewed and Gum Spring Auto said that I would need to spend around $1000 for it to pass since it couldn't without fixing it. Finally I got some common sense and took the L and went to another mechanic. I took my car to Stone Springs auto and it passed without anything needing to be fixed. They said all I needed was my check engine light to not be on, which it wasn't. These people have no idea what they are doing. I wouldn't trust them with an oil change. Don't come here unless you want to waste your time and money. I have no idea how this business is still running.

The first time I went to South Riding and got an exterior wash, I turned left and went through the interior cleaning area. The guy seemed upset even though there were no directions posted. The second time, I turned the correct direction and got the exterior wiped down. However, they didn't apply the tire shine. I had to ask them to do it. Since I rolled my window down I now have streaks on the glass.

I especially wanted to recognize two employees who truly stood out during my most recent visit. Jose, who performed my brake fluid service and cabin air filter replacement. He was very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. He answered my questions, explained everything well and made me feel confident that my vehicle was in good hands. I also want to recognize Samantha at the front counter. She was awesome, great personality welcoming, and kind to every customer who walked through the door. What impressed me the most was watching her go out of her way to speak Spanish with several Hispanic customers, even though Spanish is not her first language. She didn't have to do that, but she is teaching herself Spanish so she can better serve others. To me, that speaks volumes about her commitment to excellent customer service. Both Jose and Samantha worked incredibly hard during my visit and made the experience a positive one. Employees like them deserve recognition because they represent outstanding customer service.
