I also love the addition of the pump status, showing if it is occupied or available. Costco gas pretty much always has lines. It is usually the best price for gas in the area. We try to only fill up at Costco, but sometimes we have to stop at a gas station closer to our house until we are in an area with Costco Gas. The parking lot at this location isn't the most easy to navigate, besides there are always people driving through the parking lot like it is the Autobon. Also watch out for the random shopping carts that left all over the lot as people are too lazy to walk them to a shopping cart return area which probably is overflowing with shopping carts anyways. read more

The price is good but try to compare it to other Costco or non Costco gas stations. My car gets more gas in Sterling and guess what? it even lasts less. Try getting gas from different Costco or non Costco locations to see the difference. Their price is relatively cheap, so you would not even think of going anywhere else. First, you absolutely can't beat the prices, period. That is pretty consistent across Costcos, however the Sterling Costco station warrants additional praise for their exceptional customer service. The gas attendants/monitors are always there when you need them and have bailed me out too many times when I've left my Costco card at home. Costco gas certainly has great prices and this station has been around for quite some time. Please keep in mind you have to be a Costco member to get gas here. Secondly, if you want to avoid the very long lines I'd recommend getting there early, around when they open. Getting in/out can be a challenge as you're dealing with the crazy drivers there to get gas or get items at Costco proper which is why I can't give it a full 5 stars, I really try to plan my visits around the slower times. I have been getting Costco gas for quite some time now. I have to say, they have the best price every time. The gas station is clean, well kept, and employees are very friendly. You must be Costco member in order to use their gas station. In my opinion, it's totally worth the annual 50$ membership if you do your groceries and get gas from them on a daily basis. I recommend avoid getting gas on the weekends. However if you must, try going later in the evening because the line tends to build up really fast. During the weekdays, there's hardly ever a line there, at least, that's what I have been noticing. Overall, if you're already a Costco member, I would definitely take full advantage of their gas station because of the gas low prices. read more

Costco gas has great prices, but keep in mind this station has 16 pumps and only serves gas. No full service. No maintenance. No oil changes. No repair station. The tire center is separate from the gas station. And yes, you must be a Costco member use Costco Gas here. The best (fastest with no waiting) time to go is in the morning hours before the Costco store opens and just before they close (any day). The longest wait time at the pump are during weekends while the Costco store is open. read more

I like this gas station! Its quick and cheap! I brought my sister here while she was pracrice driving, and the nice guy there who is i usually saw at the food court (Dagoberto?) Helped show my sister how to pump gas and everything! So nice and professional and very pleasant to speak to while we wait! 5/5 s!!!!!!!!! The lines are never too long for too long. People come, pump and leave so the speed is awesome! I now have another reason to come by this Costco! I live by the one down in Chantilly but pass by this one for work and will always come to this one! People are so friendly here and everything is just fast! read more

This Costco has French fries!!! I kid you not. I thought someone was lying to me when I heard this but they really have French fries at the impulse eatery. I wish they had cheese sauce but they haven't gotten that (yet). Also, avoid this place on weekends during the day. The parking is ridiculous as much as when you go inside people are about climbing on the food stacks because it truly can be that congested in some sections. read more

This Costco gas station is definitely the cheapest in the Sterling area. The lines move quick so it's never an issue even if it seems busy.

The lines here can be long sometimes (8-10 cars ahead of you), but it's usually worth it for the savings you reap!

Pricing on November 6, 2014 $2.83 for 87 octane / $3.23 for 93 octane. No line..pulled up to one of several open pumps at 9:00 on a Thursday morning. Best gas pricing by a large margin so close to Fairfax County. read more

Its close today Memorial Day 2018, but the Yelp says it closes at 9:30PM . Yes. Now its 2:11 and I just came out fron their parking lot.

Costco gas is hands down the cheapest gas in the area by at least .10 - .15. It't not much now that gas prices are going down but when they are expensive, it pays dividends. This one can be a bit of a pill when it gets packed, so be careful when you head over there b/c the lines can be royally long! read more
