As a big fan of the Dynamos, I've been here for multiple games over the years (and 1 concert!). Stadium definitely has been upgraded over time (better seats/lighting) and nice to see the growth of our club over the last 2 decades since we first got in the MLS in 2006 and were playing at Robertson stadium (oh the memories). The supporter sections has the best atmosphere (shoutout to the energy they bring to all the games) but the overall fan excitement still lacks miles behind the professional clubs overseas or in Europe. (Which hopefully we can get to like a Mid-Lower league level one day!) There are goods/bads like most other stadiums. This is an open stadium so you can expect high heat/humidity of Texas summers to be a huge factor (I came to a corporate event in August and within 10min I was drenched in sweat) Parking can be pricey unless you do street.. there's an abundant of sketchy spots in EaDo so you have to be careful (a friend of mine recently got her car broken into from parking in a paid $10 lot for a game.. but that's just Houston) Decent food/drink options around the stadium (cashless). They also offer free Wi-Fi. Overall fairly efficient getting in and out as there aren't as many people compared to Stros/Texans. Staff/Ushers are generally very friendly. As a longtime fan who was there since the beginning, I'll always support them through thick and thin (I was there in 2006 and 2007 when we won back to back MLS cups and most recently our US Open cup run), this is a great stadium to go for games as you get a great view for a good value.

Honestly, it's the best stadium in town. First of all, it's small so you can walk around it and eat at all the wonderful places inside which range from Roostar to Taqueria Arandas to a Hugo's place as well as all of the other food places and some local ones. Parking is easy and we used Parking Hero and found (what appears to be sketch but you are in Eado so there's that) a great lot that was less than a block away for half the price of the big lot. Easy in and easy out and everyone is really friendly to you. You can almost always get the giveaway of the night they are having (we got camo Dynamo hats this time) and overall a good time. I don't know why more people don't go to these matches.

Though buying tickets through seatgeek sucks the stadium itself is lovely. Clean, easy to get around and parking is pretty convenient.

Really nice stadium. Great variety of food stands. A lot of the food stands are local restaurants here in Houston and not just your generic pizza, hamburger, hotdog that you find at a lot of stadiums. The stadium is open roof so it's pretty impressive that it can stay pretty cool. But with that said protect your skin and body. Wear plenty of sunscreen and hydrate yourself.

This stadium is bigger than some people think. You could say it has that Big Shell Energy. So we like to come and relax at one of the most beautiful MLS and Women's Soccer stadiums in the country. It's gorgeous, it just gets very hot in the summer, but that's Houston and it's part of the charm. Cheap tickets, beautiful surroundings, amazing atmosphere, best fans in the league, not usually sold out (sadly, blame SeatGeek), but get ready to sweat! My old review said: One of the best stadiums in MLS, I'd argue, and the weather here is always wonderful. It's also perfectly located in a sadly gentrified neighbourhood, right next to downtown Houston in EaDo, and really adds to its surroundings, and is nothing short of beautiful inside and out. Would not be out of place as a European Stadium, and is truly magnificent. My other review of this stadium said: Not to be confused with BDSM Stadium, which is something very different, more adult, more painful, more restrictive, for the sub anway. Moving on. Houston has a pretty amazing soccer stadium just to the east of downtown and it's beautiful and perfect for what it does, one of the better ones I've been to. I'd downgrade for the insane cost of everything (a beer is 10 to 20 dollars, yes I'm serious), but then every stadium is like that these days... they should GTFO really. But for the stadium itself.... wow. It's a shame they didn't have the stadium during the days when they were winning everything, this would have been perfect for that, but hopefully one day they will be winning everything again with this great stadium, that is like the Reliant Stadium/NRG Stadium of soccer.. it's amazing. As for the team, it's home to the Houston Dynamo. Not to be confused with a murder plot against an orange-white Clownfish in America's 4th largest city (Houston Die-Nemo). Houston is one of the classic teams in the league, even though they secretly stole San Jose away from San Jose, and changed the Earthquake name to Dynamo, to reflect the industrial energy nature of the Houston economy. I'm a fan of a team and I think they do a good job, and are a main fixture in the sports scene of the city, which isn't really much of a sports city to be honest, and none of the Rockets/Astros/Texans get an immense amount of love compared to other regions, and the Dynamo holds its own to some degree. It had some great success in the past and long may that continue. They need to get back on the wagon and be a top team, and I hope they can get the support they deserve to go with their amazing stadium close to downtown. And yeah this stadium gets hot AF in summer, but it's all good.

One of the newest and nicest stadiums in Houston; we have been here a few times now for Dynamo and Dash games and really enjoy it.

Since it was a hot and muggy day, free cold water and run thru water mist (provided by the fire dept) were offered. Outside of the stadium, there were multiple food trucks, activity areas, and clean mobile restrooms, not the gross porta potties. Went through security- women make sure to have a clear bag/purse and size as specified. Seating sections were clearly marked. We loved our seats and had no issues with views. Section 330. Restrooms were nearby and if there was a line, it moved fast. Great game! I also appreciated that it's a closed stadium. There were storms during the game and we were not affected. Although after the game, all were notified to shelter in place for a bit due to lightning. Easy peasy experience!

Over dropped us at Petco next to the stadium and it was only a 10 min walk. Entrance process needs work. Too forever to get thru the screening line then it was quick to tap the ticket. Searing signage isn't the best either. We followed an arrow that said we were headed to our seat and ended up walking around the whole thing. Best part of the stadium. . .Verizon WiFi Access and AC. I'm not sure how I felt cold inside the huge stadium when it was 1,000 degrees outside. Prices were as expected; 40 for a beer and seltzer. I'd watch a football game here too. We left using a rickshaw. Austin was great and took us back to the Blossom. I'd use that again instead of waiting for an Uber.

The center is modern, clean, organized and has all the amenities. I came prepared with a clear bag but entry was still a breeze. Security does a great job pointing people in the direction of their seats and ensuring that stairways and hallways remain clear. In terms of food and drink, I was really impressed with the number of options. They have two full service food counters on either side of the arena. While I personally did not get anything, I saw people passing by with nachos and popcorn. If you want something a little more substantial Antones Poboys and Chick-fil-a were both set up for grab and go. They also had lots of alcoholic beverage options from tall boy beers, liquor for cocktails and even a spiked fresh lemonade stand. The arena has a fan shop onsite, some historical displays and a kid coloring zone. The game itself was well played (they won!) and executed from the announcer to the lights and entertainment. Great experience overall.

It was also Orbit's birthday, and the giveaway (an Orbit jersey) was gone within 30 minutes. We missed out. Parking is back to being reasonable. I remember when it was $50 after they won the World Series. We park a few blocks down (a whopping 90 cents per hour) and get a few extra steps in. I will say the best thing that's happened is them allowing you to bring your own food and water bottle. Check the bag requirements and restrictions, but it really helps cut ballpark prices for families. We brought CFA in with us, as well as a variety of snacks. Though pricy, El Tiempo Cantina margs are amazing - as always. Go Stros!

My first impression was total sensory overload in the best possible way. Everywhere you look, there's Astros gear, vendors, and fans proudly decked out in orange and navy. The massive team store alone could keep you occupied for hours. With seating for more than 40,000 fans, the sheer size of the crowd was impressive. As an added bonus, the first 10,000 ticket holders received a free Carlos Correa bobblehead. This visit was part of a girls' weekend packed with fun, including an Astros game and even a bodybuilding competition. It made for a memorable mix of adventures. Food options go far beyond traditional ballpark fare like hot dogs and nachos. Fans can enjoy favorites such as Whataburger, Chick-fil-A, Pluckers, and Blue Bell Ice Cream from nearby Brenham, Texas. It also happened to be Barbie Day, and the Upper Concourse bar got into the spirit with themed drink specials. The Astros faced the Cleveland Guardians, and although the Guardians came away with the win, the game itself was only part of the total experience. Between the electric atmosphere, enthusiastic fans, and nonstop entertainment, Daikin Park delivered a fun and memorable day at the ballpark for our girls trip.

Parking was plentiful since it was a huge lot. The venue itself is quite big - multiple floors and wide in length. There were lots of tables with individual monitors with horse races streaming from different regions of the U.S, along with lots of TVs by the food court area. Plenty of people just watching the different races streamed on the TV happily. Betting takes place on the kiosks spread throughout the building. There's a variety of methods to bet, but easily thing to do is take a picture of the screen and have ChatGPT explain it to you lol since it's a lot of information to digest if you're a first timer. Betting is minimum $2 to start. The nachos were cheap and filling - $10 for a spread shared among two people. Plenty of cheap food available. Now for the actual racing, there was a lot of seating (albeit, they were not labeled). We actually sat in the paid, reserved seating with the TV monitors (which was quite nice, since you could see the camera following the horses racing outside on the track up close), until we were kicked out since we could show the ticket narc our tickets. We relocated to a different seating area next to it, and again after a few rounds, we were ticket-checked again and had to move. Finally, we discovered the free seating, which is at the very end on the left side of the building, with the auditorium-like seats (furthest from the fancy restaurant they have). It wasn't terrible, and we spent most of the time at the paid seating anyways. Would recommend better signage because as newbies to the horse racing venue, we didn't know any better. A lot of friend groups, families, singles, all gathered to watch the horse racing, and TBH, I got pretty into it once I started betting (rabbit hole?), so it was quite fun. There was even a hat contest that was cute to watch! I'd come back! It was a unique way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

I tend to forget about this venue as it is sandwiched between NRG Stadium and the Astrodome. NRG Arena is definitely old school (it was built in 1974). It actually reminds me of Burger Center in Austin which was also built in the 70s (IYKYK). The capacity is 8K, but it seemed smaller to me. Because it's an older venue, it doesn't have features such as illuminated stairs (like Toyota Center). People were using their cell phone flash lights to go up and down the stairs in the dark. The concourse area is a bit on the small side. The bathrooms weren't great but they weren't a complete disaster. On my last visit, I attended the World AIDS Day concert with Janet Jackson (she was amazing!). The staff was helpful with finding our seats as well as the merch table. We had a row of just 3 chairs which meant we had the entire row to ourselves (my best friend is brilliant lol). The sound quality was better than I was expecting, though at one point the volume of Janet's vocals seemed off. I didn't buy any food or drinks, but I imagine it's overpriced like any other venue. Tip: Check their socials for info on parking, bag policy, etc. Parking for the show was $20 (though it varies by event) and they do take cash and credit. The parking lot is right next to the arena so you don't have to walk terribly far. NRG Arena is okay. It's definitely not my favorite venue in the city, but it's good enough.
