He not only takes care of carpets, but also cleans all kinds of flooring. Frank is honest, personable, and takes great pride in doing a good job. He uses top quality equipment and products. His prices may not be quite the cheapest, but they are competitive, and if you want the job done right, it's worth it to pay a few dollars more to have someone like Frank. I called around to a few others who all gave me quotes at about the same rate, but none of them actually came to see my home. Frank then came back on Friday morning to clean the carpets. He arrived on time and got the job done in an hour and half (three bedrooms and a family room). The carpets look great. He doesn't move furniture for his normal price and his machine is rather large, so it won't get into smaller nooks and between furniture, but I am pretty sure that goes for most places. I am also pleased that my house does not smell like a cleaning product commercial now. It is clean, not masked with perfume. My only reason for 4 stars is because it would have been nice for frank to move a few smaller pieces of furniture to be able to get under them (my glider in the nursery, and some lamps). Also, his prices were competitive, but not cheaper than others. He left me with two sets of booties to use while the carpet dries. Edit: changing to three stars. Upon further inspection. Stains were left in my carpet that I was easily able to get out with resolve. There is also a border of not as clean carpet around the rooms. Down my hallway you can see the main track him machine made is lighter than the foot closest to either wall. What a bummer. Matthew was not the cheapest option but he gave a reasonable, competitive and affordable quote while also producing high quality work. We were living out of state during the renovation for career reasons and Matthew managed the project effectively including communicating with us at least weekly with updates. We did run into some unexpected water damage issues, which with a home built in the 1970s and lived in continuously since that time it was not surprising, but Matthew worked with us to stay in our budget. He also expanded our bathroom beautifully and designed an effective kitchen to make best use of the smaller space we have. He came and looked at the stone and told the company to show us a few more because of a few defects we did not see. We ended up with a gorgeous black granite for the island in our kitchen. Then we purchased 3 slabs of while porcelain for the remainder of the countertops in our kitchen. Gilberto was communicative, professional, and respectful of our design ideas and changes. His crew showed up and installation and clean up was done professionally and quickly.
