Andrew and his crew took on a large deck project for me and I could not recommend them highly enough. Great communication, helpful ideas and coordination, and flawless execution. The major features handled for me were a large ipe deck (capable of handling the weight of a large spa), pergola, and wall for built-in electric fireplace, I'm very happy with all of them. Also echoing what many others have said Andrew was also the only one of a half dozen potential contractors who did free design work even before we had an agreement in place, along with many other helpful steps along the way which he didn't upcharge for. Andrew would be my first call for any future similar work.

Finally we have a new beautiful deck where we can enjoy the view and feel safe to walk on it:-) Thanks to Andrew and his hardworking crew. Back in January, I started searching for someone who can replace our 15y/o ugly deck, we received 4 quotes and our experience with Andrew was not only honest, informational, professional but also reasonable. Initially we weren't planning to replace the railing but after Andrew showed us some pictures of his other jobs, we decided to have a brand new deck and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Because of his competitive price and good quality of his work, he has a lot of demands so we started the job just this Monday and he told us that our job would be done within three days, we were a bit of skeptical about that but his crew did it. They showed up before 7 am and left around 4pm. We are very impressed by their performance and super happy with the result. Thank you Andrew!

Andrew from ProDeck was very professional from the beginning. I had four estimates and he was the only deck builder who sent me an AutoCAD drawing with the estimate. His price was also very competitive. We weren't ready to start until several months later, but he helped me solve a riser/tread equation question I had in a design for my sister's property, so I booked him immediately for MY project. He was very popular, so we waited about four months. His guesstimation was right on for the start date. After the build began, I could see that one of the two stairways was being placed in a different place than I had wanted it, but it's sometimes hard to describe exactly how and where you want something, so I was SO happy with everyone's flexibility and Andrew for saying we could move the stairway. I still feel unhappy from a previous contractor's inflexibility about another project and I live with those consequences every day, so it is SO nice that I didn't have to settle. Thank you Andrew. The crew cleverly came up with some building design solutions on the fly to create the set of stairs connected to ramps to form my beautiful Trex Trail and deck. They left our place as clean as they found it. We are SO happy with these gorgeous results and we use it every day!

I can't even tell you how happy I am with the job this company did. It was a fairly large project, entailing the removal of a 40-year old rickety set of decks which were more than 1000 square feet altogether. Both decks needed to be replaced because of termite damage (they were installed before the era of composite decking materials). The job involved steep slopes, working around foliage, and matching colors and materials to existing products to a section that was remodeled in 2012. The crew knocked out the entire job in 9 days, and the end results were amazing. The deck FINALLY matches the views the house offers, sitting above Mission Bay, overlooking coastal San Diego. Note: Andrew and his company are in high demand- you may have to wait a month or two after you get the quote, but he is well worth the wait.

Andrew and his team replaced the old deck in our backyard with a new redwood deck. Since they were doing such great work installing the deck, I asked if they could add 4 window awnings to our house as well. We could not be more pleased with the results. The redwood deck is simply gorgeous. The lines are perfect and it is stained and painted to perfection. Andrew contracted to have the awning and deck covers roofed with the same material as our house which is so nice because it looks like they are part of the house, not an addition to it. The workmanship was top notch, the communication was great and the price was competitive. The money spent was an excellent investment as the deck and awnings increase the value and beauty of our home.

Andrew and his team did an AMAZING job installing our new deck for our hot tub! Leveraged our initial design and came up with ways to help keep it within our budget. Couldn't be happier and would highly recommend them!

While Andrew and crew can be very busy, they are worth the wait. They built us a beautiful bamboo deck with stainless steel cable and powder-coated metal posts, as well as some new steps up to the new deck. Finished product is top notch. Excellent communication and competitive pricing. Highly recommend.

Andrew does great work. We got several bids on our project and Andrew's was the best and he was the best to communicate with. He set realsitic expectations of price, timeline, and there were no hidden fees or surprises that came up half way through. I would recommend Andrew to anyone and everyone and will probably have him back to do more work next year. He took a useless part of our yard and made it into a beautiful space we use everyday.

We hired Andrew to build a shade structure in our back yard and it turned out incredible. He was competitively priced and very responsive despite it taking 5 months for the HOA to approve my request. He did formal plans, submitted them to the City and handled plan check comments. When it came time to build the structure his team was professional and quick. His attention to detail was excellent and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. I highly recommend this company.

ProDeck just finished a Pergola and we couldn't be happier with the job. I would highly recommend Andrew and his crew for Decks and Pergolas. We previously used ProDeck for a Trex Deck and the results and customer care were so impressive it was the only company we would consider again for this type of work. Andrew is honest, reliable and reasonable with beautiful results!

After meeting with Adam and several other contractors, I decided to go with Patio Guy not only…read morebecause of his five-star rating, but several other factors that were important to me (and probably you as well): 1) He could deliver and install my new cover within a week vs. the other guys taking months; 2) I wasn't limited to just the AlumaWood product (which wasn't modern enough for me), and (3) his price to install with an upgraded cover (insulated) was far below his competitors constrained by higher overhead and slower delivery times. I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

Adam came down next day for a detailed quote and Brody and team build new patio up in less than two days a couple weeks later. Only regret is that I didn't do this years ago. Price, professionalism, communication, demo, build and clean up were all amazing. Highly recommended and would absolutely use again.

I finally had it replaced last April 2025 by Skyline Patio and Sunrooms with an insulated cover. One year later, it has passed the test through hot weather, rain and wind. No more frying eggs on the concrete floor! I was very very happy with the service I received from this company. Joe, the manager, and Rick design rep, Darrin construction manager, Andrea production coordinator, Dianna sales coordinator, and others that came to do the work on site, were all professional and a real blessing in getting my new patio cover designed and put together with the features I wanted. The crew that worked on site demonstrated much care and passion in the work they did. The crew took time to answer my questions and even made a video on my phone so I could remember how the wiring was done for my patio light and fan. I have gutters on each side and also had outlets put in. Today the temperature in my backyard in the sun is 102°F. In the shade of my Avocado tree the temp is 96°F. The ambient temperature under my insulated patio cover is 84°F!! That's an 18 degree difference! The company responded quickly to my initial call and once material was in, had the work completed within 2 days. They took down and removed the old cover, prepped the areas needed, and cleaned up afterwards. Out of all the companies I met with, Skyline Sunrooms came out as my top choice. I highly recommend Skyline Patio and Sunrooms to anyone. They have a cute little showroom, too!

However, the way this company has handled a clear mistake is extremely disappointing. During installation, their team drilled into the tile on our second-floor balcony and failed to seal the holes. When it rained shortly after, water came through those openings and caused damage to the ceiling in our dining room below. This was entirely preventable and directly tied to the installation. What's more concerning is what happened next. I've spent weeks trying to get this resolved. I've been in contact with their employee (Elizabeth), who acknowledged the issue and repeatedly said it would be taken care of. Despite those assurances, there has been zero follow-through. Communication has been inconsistent at best, and more recently I've been completely ignored. At this point, the issue is no longer just the damage; it's the lack of accountability. Mistakes happen. Ignoring a customer after causing property damage is a much bigger problem. If you're considering this company, just be aware: the install may go well, but if something goes wrong, you may be on your own. I'm still hoping they step up and resolve this properly, but based on my experience so far, I would proceed with caution.

Steve, the co-owner, was most patient and thorough in accommodating our needs, including drainage and lighting, and helping us think through the design and materials. The price was reasonable. This review concerns only my experience with Pacific Patio's bidding process. The proposal I received did not include any meaningful detail about the materials that would be used. When I asked specific questions--such as whether the support posts would be steel or aluminum--the salesperson refused to answer. Instead, he responded sarcastically, "Do you want me to tell you what kind of bolts we're going to use?" My answer is yes. The materials matter. The type of bolts, fasteners, posts, and other structural components affects the durability and safety of the finished product. Lower-quality hardware may perform differently under wind loads and over time, so it's reasonable for a customer to know what is being proposed. I repeatedly asked for a list of the materials that would be used, but the salesperson would not provide one. Without that information, I had no meaningful way to compare Pacific Patio's proposal with competing bids. Just as importantly, I would have had no clear basis for holding the contractor accountable if different materials were substituted during the project. The salesperson also became increasingly dismissive as I continued asking for this information. That lack of transparency and professionalism led me to award the project--worth approximately $100,000--to another contractor. I'm sharing this experience so that prospective customers know to ask for a detailed written description of the materials included in any proposal before making a decision.
