I can't explain how delicious the Chicken Shawarma Wrap is! This is my 2nd time stopping by this food truck and it was so delicious and fresh. This food truck is 45 mins from where I live and I just happened to be in this area and it was like the stars aligned and the Food god had favor on me! I highly recommend checking this place out!

Another day, another tasty chicken shawarma wrap - which I hereby declare as the tastiest chicken shawarma in LA. Obviously drenched in their addictive house made garlic sauce. Obsessed with the contrast of the grilled chicken with all the bright herbs - including both cilantro and cucumber. Love stopping by here every time I have to pick up something from the Whole Foods Glendale.

This restaurant offers a fantastic location, fast service, delicious food, and friendly staff. It's a great place to dine and definitely deserves a five-star rating.

I ordered the plate and i loved the food. It was made fresh, in front of me. The owner was also super kind and gave me a free soda when i was a dollar short. Would definitely recommend.

Heard about this place on Nextdoor app and have passed by the truck numerous times on San Fernando Rd., so figured it was time to give it a try. We got the Chicken Wrap and a side of fries. Wrap was tasty but they put tomatoes on it after I'd requested none. Also, fries were good, but way, way too salty. Definitely not a bad choice for shawarma, but not 5 stars foe me.

Man the best meal on the wheel I loved it, very friendly and clean. Thank you so much plus they're at service late night it was very convenient.

I'm not kidding, this place is the best. The sauce is perfectly spicy and sweet, the chicken is fresh and delicious and I love their liberal use of fresh jalapeños. I'm a huge fan. When I'm in Glendale, it's Shawarma Time! (Sorry, couldn't help it ) I've told a handful of people who I know that live in Glendale about this place, and they agree, it's so yummy! read more

The service was great and the Shawarma was delicious. I got the chicken shawarma and it can probably feed 2 people with a side of fries. The veggies/ greens balance out the flavor just right. For $12 they definitely don't go cheap on their food. There are benches right near the truck where people can sit and eat or just eat it at the Whole Foods outdoor tables. Definitely would crave this. read more

I had just come from a big charity car event at Verdugo Park and I was driving through Glendale looking for something to eat when I saw the Shawarma Time food truck parked on the side of the road and decided to stop. I'm glad that I did. I ordered the chicken shawarma on bread and it tasted incredible! The flavor of the tender chicken was amazing and the fresh bread was so delicious too. The mango Snapple was my drink of choice. If you're in the area, the truck was in front of Whole Foods on Glendale Blvd, stop by and give the food a try. read more

Unbelievably good! Every time we drove by we were determined to try their food and finally stopped there yesterday. Everything good written about this food truck is 100% correct! They use the BEST BREAD for the sandwich, and the meat and the fries and the sauce and everything else is superb. I think there is cucumber in there too? It's amazing food and I'm so happy to see this business doing well. Sandwiches are huge and filling (we shared one, heated the other one the next day and it was just as good, if not better. Hint: microwave for a couple of minutes then put in the toaster oven to toast the bread). As everyone has said, the staff are super nice and really enjoy serving this great food. read more

I was craving a shawarma and ended up trying this place because of some of the reviews that I had read. Boy aren't the shawarma standards unbelievably low here in Los Angeles.. To begin with, the shawarma it self was an absolute disgrace. Tasted nothing like proper shawarma meat, nor did the bread or the vegetables/sauce inside of it. The sandwich felt more like a failed fajita with a blend of Mediterranean spices. Having payed 16$ + tax for a below average wannabe Middle Eastern shawarma, it is safe to say I feel robbed. Not going to waste my time on the service, the man in the truck barely spoke any English and seemed like he did not want to be there. Overall a shocking experience. Never again. read more

This just may be the best tasting shawarma wrap I've ever tasted and I've been to Israel. I was sad that I hadn't seen them in their usual spot in front of Whole Foods for a while, but I just randomly found them parked in front of a Ralph's on San Fernando Rd North of Burbank Blvd. Turns out Whole Foods complained about them and got time limit signs installed so they had to move and this is the new location. That's not all, tip will also be requested when checking out. Our Visit: My family and I have visited Elena's before and had a good experience, which is why this visit was so disappointing. This time, we noticed a clear drop in food quality, portion sizes, overall service and an unexpected new surprise on the bill. I came in with my wife, our two young children (10month old and 2 year old), and my mom. Unfortunately, the pita bread was stale, a portion of my wife's chicken was undercooked, the portions were noticeably smaller than before, and the server completely forgot my mom's drink. Those issues alone were frustrating, but what really stood out were the added fees at the end, fees that were not charged in the past. We were charged a 20% "large party fee", along with an additional "service fee". When I spoke with the owner, he explained that their system automatically applies a large party charge to any group of 4 or more people, including babies who don't even order food. That threshold seems unusually low, especially since most places consider 6 or more a "large party" and from my experience typically don't consider babies 2 years and younger as occupants. Even more concerning, none of these fees were clearly communicated to us beforehand. Being surprised with multiple charges at the end of a meal feels misleading and leaves a bad impression. To add to that, after already including these fees, the payment process still prompts customers to leave an additional tip. I've only seen this type of fee structure at higher-end restaurants and for more people, not at a casual spot like this, and even then it's usually disclosed upfront. If a business is going to charge extra, the service and overall experience should reflect that. My recommendation for Elena's, if you want to make more money, just raise your food prices so your customers at least know how much they're going to spend at the end. Not slap surprise charges at the end and force your customers to pay. On a positive note, at least they were playing Fast and the Furious on their TV. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL. Please be aware of their shady business practices.

It completed the meal perfectly. My husband had the Carne con Papa (beef stew) with moros and plátanos maduros (sweet fried plantains), along with a bottle of Coke. This restaurant is a Glendale staple for both locals and the Cuban community. I remember when it was located on Colorado Boulevard many years ago. Even after all these years, the quality of the food has remained just as excellent for the past 26 years.

Definitely the best shawarma I have ever had in Glendale. I wish I took a photo, but I was too hungry. In compare to other places, this shawarma has only legit stuff in it. No lettuce or fries that only take space. A lot of meat, the best veggies to go with it, and delicious sauce!!! The owner recommended me to try the bread instead of lavash, and it was sooo good. The portion is huge and there is no way you don't get full. I'd recommend you call them before going cuz they park at different spots. Fyi, I never leave long and descriptive reviews like this, but the shawarma made me so happy and full that I just had to express my gastronomic feelings here lol read more

I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap and a plate, and what I received was completely unacceptable. The chicken was rotten, had a very bad smell, and was clearly not safe to eat. This is a serious health and safety issue. What made it even worse is that I called them, and they refused to accept any responsibility and hung up the phone on me. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I've never experienced something this shocking from any restaurant. I will definitely not be ordering from here again, and I hope others are aware of this before ordering. read more

I finally had a chance to check this place out, and I'm so glad I did! I Think I've found my new favorite spot in Glendale. To start off, the service was outstanding. Inside was so clean and calm, worker answered all of our questions with smile. They even have delivery , Doordash UberEats. For the food~ everything was packed with flavor.
