    Chicken Shawarma
    Kathirazhagan A.

We've been in this area so many times but never tried this place - a big mistake! It's mostly a grab-and-go spot, but they have a few tables if you're starving (which we were!). We ordered the Hummus Bilahma, chicken shawarma, and a piece of baklava. The dishes looked great, served on a cool wooden board. We really enjoyed everything and are already planning our next visit to try more!

Shawarma Time has become a lunch favorite for many of my customers within the area. I greatly appreciate ease of ordering and arranging delivery. The menu is offers great variety, and portion options which works perfectly for office personnel as their allotted break times vary. Customer service and the quality of order is always great. The Greek fries are never soggy, and the seasoning on the Greek salad is fantastic! I will definitely order again, and highly recommend!

The food here is absolutely delicious! We stopped by in Bothell, and I suddenly got hungry, so I convinced my husband to eat here. We ordered the beef and lamb shawarma and kebab with fries--both packed with flavor and served in huge portions. I couldn't even finish mine and had to take it to go (classic case of "my eyes were bigger than my stomach" ). To make the experience even better, they surprised us with a free dessert--and wow, it was amazing! Great food, generous portions, and wonderful hospitality. Definitely worth coming back for!

First time stopping in for a shawarma plate to go. Went with the chicken plate. The chicken was very flavorful and tasty. I had higher hopes for the hummus though, was a bit underwhelming. The pita could have been better too. My bar is pretty high with shawarma, Mr Gyros is my baseline to compare to. I'd go with a 3.5 star if I could. I'll be back but probably just for a side of the chicken.

    Nice, clean, bright, welcoming design.

I tried this place because someone said it's good. I love gyros. I went to many gyros/shawarma places. So I gave a try. I odered lamb & beef Shawarma plate. This place cuts the meat in tiny tiny pieces, not slices, about 1 x .5 cm. He put it on top of the grill again. It made the meat dry, not juicy. The seasoning wasn't to my liking. The rice was dry too. I tried to reason why people like it. It's probably just me? The restaurant itself is nice. I just wish the employee that helped me can be friendly and put more smile & energy to welcome customers. I think I like its competitor in Bothell area as well better ~ food wise & service with excitement.

Tried this place for the first time. The beef and lamb wrap was good. A little greasier than I expected, but tasted good. My friend got the chicken plate and that was really great. Pita was thick and fluffy. Basmati rice was good. The fries are pretty good. I liked how crispy they were, but not "too" crispy. Baklava was great, crispy flakey and the right amount of moist. Next time (and I definitely plan to go back) I plan to get the Beef and Lamb Shawarma Plate as I think I would prefer the pita. UPDATE: I went back and got the Beef and Shawarma Plate. I liked it even more than the wrap. I'll definitely eat here again!

Honestly, I went in expecting better than it really was. Service was ok. Didn't have many people working. I noticed a few guys come in a few minutes after our friend group entered. They were on a smoke break but one of them came in, didn't wash their hands and put gloves on. Wasn't super sanitary in my opinion. The place itself is a decent size. Not space for more than 15 people probably. Now to the food. Food was pretty good, just not great or amazing. Portion sizes were generous and overall food was tasty. The fries were the best part. They made them crispy and they tasted really good!

We went to Shawarma time around 9pm on a Friday. We were excited because we thought we finally found a shawarma place on the east side that's open later than 7pm. We got a gyro plate and overall it wasn't bad, it just also wasn't great. The salad was small but not bad overall and the hummus was not good. We really loved their fries. We got the crispy fries and really enjoyed them. If we go back it will definitely be to try the gyro fries. Service/ambiance is what you would expect for a fast food type establishment, there was nothing that stood out good or bad from this perspective. However, one surprise is that they wanted to charge us for water - they wouldn't give us tap water. So if you get thirsty, but don't want a soda or want to buy water, bring a water bottle. The location is good. It's in the Thrashers corner complex so there's plenty of parking. There just isn't a ton of seating so if you have a big group plan ahead. They allowed us to move around tables to sit together which was nice. Overall, the reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because I think the food is good, not great, and when you factor in the price, I just think the value isn't there. I'm also still a little annoyed they tried to charge us for water.

I had lunch there today during their Grand Opening for this location. I must say that this is absolutely the best beef shawarma meat I have ever had and I am a big fan of meat shawarma. This was the Real Shawarma that was prepared and cooked the authentic way as if I was in the Middle East. My sandwich was amazing. Also both of the Humus and Falafel were delicious and very authentic. They served free fresh made desserts today that were truly out of this world. I am so glad ti have a real Shawarma place close to me. The owners and staff were also very friendly and extremely nice.

Delicious! My father was craving Turkish food and we found this place with great ratings in Yelp! We tried this place for the first time. My father thinks it tastes authentic and he was just at Turkey! We loved the garlic sauce on the fries. The portion of meat was good. I ordered the chicken platter and some parts were dry but others were tender. I really liked the sauce on it and the side of fresh hummus. The place was clean and the service was great! They even gave us a free baklava to try. We'll be back!

Looooved everything! We got the delicious chicken shawarma platter, with garlic mayo on the chicken, spicy peppers on the hummus and a perfectly dressed salad. My kids ate it all! My husband got the wrap, which he thought was pretty outstanding, as well. The fries were awesome, super crispy. The mango lassi was also delicious. They have a pretty good variety of bottled Turkish drinks, but we didn't try them this time. The cooks and owner were all super duper nice and greeted us with big smiles. The place is small, but clean. No changing table in the restroom, but I used the cabinet that was there :p. Definitely coming back!

The best shawarma I've ever had. Everything about it was delicious. The meat, the sauces, the wrap, the pickled onions and pickles. We were shocked how good it was and am excited that this place is in Bothell!

The service is amazing and the mixed vegetable platter was great! The falafel and cauliflower had great flavor. I would love to go back and try the wrap!

Initially, I could not find it on the menu, and our assigned server was different. However, Rohan recognized us from our previous visits and came over. When I mentioned I was there just for the chaat platter, he kindly checked and found the menu for us. He let us know it would take about 20 minutes to prepare, which we were completely fine with. The platter arrived in about 20 to 25 minutes, and it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything from the bhel puri, pav bhaji bites, samosa chaat, to the sandwich was delicious, flavorful, and very satisfying. The chai was also really good. Highly recommend this place for both the vibe and the food. We will definitely keep coming back.

After walking…read morearound to stretch our legs from the drive we ducked into Zeitoon Grill House for some Persian cuisine. Based on decor I wondered if it had been a pub or steakhouse once in its life: lots of paneled and coffered wood, chandeliers, and wooden booths with coat hangers. We started with the baba ghanouj and ordered the fesenjan and a beef kobideh for meals. The meals came with a salad to share rather than small individual salads on the plate which was a nice touch. The staff was able to provide some veggies with the baba ghanouj since my partner in crime can't have bread. The baba ghanouj was great - exactly the smoky eggplant flavor I was craving when I saw the sign for Persian cuisine. The kobideh was nice and tender - you could taste the onion. The fesenjan was also extremely good. One question: Who eats this much rice in one dish? The rice was very good - but it is a lot of rice. I haven't had Persian like this since we had Persian neighbors who invited us over.

Zeitoon opened in downtown Kirkland many years ago, replacing the Central 21 Steakhouse. Much of…read morethe interior still has the original dark room steakhouse décor. The center area hosted a huge group with multiple tables pushed together. I have avoided Zeitoon all these years because they are higher cost, not necessarily justifiable since there are lower cost Persian foods or similar Mediterranean restaurants in the area. I finally decided to try them. Our server answered my questions, including his favorites. Two questionable/sketchy things happened: 1. Our server recommended the Mirza Ghasemi, which he said is great with the optional soft-boiled egg. Sounds good. We ordered it. The optional egg is $2, which is not identified on the menu. (See photo) 2. When he recommended the Mirza Ghasemi, we asked him to remove the Mast O Khiar which we initially chose. I said we only want one appetizer. He nodded and said OK. When the Mirza Ghasemi arrived, so did the Mast O Khiar. They put both on the table and immediately left. I flagged the original server to remind him we said to remove it, but a different person showed up instead. He: "You want to cancel this? No problem." and took the yogurt away. I did not order this; it is not me canceling. Minus 0.5 stars from overall rating. The Food: Mirza Ghasemi + egg, $14 +$2 - 2.5 Stars This eggplant dish is the one recommended by our server. We do enjoy eggplant dips, especially warm versions. The optional "soft boiled egg" is not an American version but tiny threads of yellow egg bits mixed within the eggplant mixture. Honestly, we cannot taste the egg. It is borderline a scam. This dish would be 3.5 stars if it was $14 at the menu price, which is already on the high side. A $16 eggplant dish is delusional. Lamb Shishlik Kebab, $36 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Lamb rack marinated and chargrilled (see menu photo) I knew I would not see a rack of lamb on my plate. I got four lamb chops. Meat quality wise, this is excellent. It comes with a ton of basmati rice and a salad with a refreshing light dressing. This is a bit spendy for the quantity of meat, but taste is good. Soltani Shishlik, $42 - 3.5 Stars This is the exact same dish as above except add a skewer of grounded beef kebab. This kebab, and I quote my hubby, is "not that good". Same comment for the rest of the dish. A basket of lavash bread arrived at the table. I believe it came with the Mirza Ghasemi. We have eaten many lavash breads, commonly used as wrap so it is grilled and/or heat-pressed with oil on the surface. These lavash breads are simply warmed. I learned they taste terrible that way. The surface has a sandpaper texture and still taste like sandpaper when eating it. If I paid for this separately, I would be upset.
