The fries were EXCELLENT and they were very well seasoned, not just plainly salted. The yellow rice and beef shawarma are also very good, along with the gyro wrap. Hummus was good, falafel was good. You may notice a reoccurring theme here, there was plenty of room to disappoint but everything was executed exceptionally. This was easily the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. When you walk through the door, it smells incredible. The staff was so kind and the food came out very quickly! WOW! I eat Mediterranean food in every city and country when I'm there. My favorites here so far are several. Tabouli is tricky to make. It's a perfect ratio of lemon, olive oil and salt. They have it done perfectly. The $7 size is plenty for two people. Next the white sauce is a garlic spread. It is served on the wraps. If you like garlic order some on the side, it is amazingly good. I could eat it all by itself. The baba ganoush is too good. I made myself stop eating it, or I was going to pop. Oink oink. The pita bread is not the best I've had. But when hot is is soft. To be honest, Costco sells the best I have ever ever had. Wish they served that here. Most likely not affordable. But to be honest, I didn't come here for the pita bread. It is difficult to find good middle eastern food in Temecula. The other restaurants in town are ok, but nothing outstanding. I love supporting family businesses and the food here is really good! I can tell the hummus and falafel are homemade. I got the veggie combo plate, shawarma combo plate, beef shawarma wrap and chicken shawarma wrap. Everything was really good. The veggie plate is a perfect add on to the combo plate. I appreciate when restaurants take the time to make something homemade. The falafel is soft inside and not dried out like other restaurants. I was definitely impressed by the generous amount of meat in my gyro sandwich--definitely worth 8 bucks! The flavor of the meat was pretty standard and good--kinda hard to screw this part up. The tzatziki sauce was also solid, though I would have liked a little bit more 'cuz I just like a lot of sauce. I used to come to this place beause orignally, was own by someone I knew throught high school football and they always supported the team with amazing meals. I've since learned they sold it and the new owners need to be aware of the people they have in place for their customers. I called in an order of he beef shwarma plate to pick up. I was very specific in requesting that. When I got to the restaurant, it was ready and I paid for it, even tipping as it was prepared to quickly during lunch hour. I turned to check my order before leaving and noticed there was chicken in the box. I asked her if I got the correct order because I ordered beef. She said, "No, you ordered chicken". I replied back, "No, I did not. I wouldn't have asked for chicken". She repeated, "You ordered the chicken, that's what I heard so that's what you got". Again, I said "No, I ordered beef, I said beef, I would not say chicken. Can I just get the beef plate?" She said " We don't have beef". "It's on the menu". She said "We're all out." All she had to do when I called was let me know "I'm sorry, we're out of beef, can I offer you something else". At noon, they were only open for 2 hours and she said they're out of beef. Probably never prepared it. She then said "I don't have any beef, so what do you want? I got Gyro". I said "I want a refund". She said they don't give refunds. She even skipped the salad dressing so we used some from home. This young lady was there, looked like by herself and in a bad mood. I commented to my husband when I got off the phone with her that she didn't sound happy but chalked it up to it being the lunch rush. Someone like her should not be in customer service if she does not know how to conduct herself and be helpful or accomodating to their customers. We will never go to this establishment ever again.
