The owner is awesome the food was awesome. I usually get the beef wrap and love it, but I've also tried the gyro. He asked me how well I'd like the beef done and I asked for it medium, I've never been asked this before! And it came out awesome. The garlic and tzatziki were great and are a must have. Very generous good portions provided both in a plate and a wrap form. For people that understand the true taste of middle eastern food, their beef and chicken kafta are far from being properly spiced. They are spiced but with the wrong spices. Sanitary issues: While I was waiting for my order I noticed the female cashier went to go help prepare the food on the grill. She did not wash her hands nor wear gloves. She proceeded to flip a wrap sandwich on the grill and used her bare hands along with the spatula to turn it over. Several times. It wasn't my order by this is a major health concern! Omg the falafel is sooo yummy here. It tastes so fresh and in a pita with some fixins is pretty amazing. The tzatziki/garlic sauce (?) is the perfect topper for them and if you can go a little extra on tabouleh and hummus, they round out an amazing vegetarian meal. A very satisfying treat that is light and heavy at the same time. My partner usually orders a lamb shank where it's on the menu, and it was very good too. For Mediterranean this is a really good bet which always delivers on the falafel, hummus, and lamb. I still want to try the chicken kabobs which I normally order from other Mediterranean places but am pleasantly surprised to crave falafels from here to change my go-to dish up. Also really delicious after a hike or a work out that helps to rejuvenate afterwards which is when I went. Definitely recommend if you want to go healthy and have a happy tummy. read more

Great middle eastern food in Temecula! Huge fan of their gyro plate and their hummus. Although we are fully capable of making our own delicious homemade hummus at home, we never skip an opportunity to get a side order of large hummus when we order from Shawerma Grill. Their chicken and beef shawerma are also very good. Every time I've visited, their employees are helpful and pleasant. I went to this location because I was craving food after a workout. The front of the store has an advertisement stating it has the best shawarma in town. This statement is undeniable, 10/10 this food had blown my expectations out of the water. The flavor is remarkable and the atmosphere of the restaurant is similar to home. Customer service of all employees went above and beyond. All customers that were in the establishment at my visit were offered a sample of freshly made chicken rice soup. Upon hearing that I hadn't tried falafel before while ordering, the cashier had given me a sample. Overall a great experience and I will visit this location many times in the future. read more

New years day, I didn't want to cook. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while but kept forgetting about it. Thankfully, they were open. We ordered the chicken shwarma plate, the veggie plate, and the beef shwarma, but we requested no lamb since this plate, even though it is a beef shwarma plate, it consists of beef and lamb. All plates came with hummus and salad. The veggies plate comes with stuffed grape leaves and falafel. Everything was delicious and, in my opinion, a decent portion of food for the price. I highly recommend this restaurant. I also think it is family ran.. The older gentleman was so polite, and as we walked out, he said, "Thank you for supporting our place." This was definitely all she raved about! While the restaurant it's self is unassuming the food and service are fantastic. The hummus is homemade and creamy and the Shawarma Combo Plate was huge (we could have split it) and full of flavor! My Husband had the beef shawarma wrap and was very impressed. When I checked on our order the staff was very unapologetic and said there was a hiccup. Nobody was even in there before us. Gyros was incredibly dry, we couldn't even eat it. Ordered chicken kebob plate. Told 25 minutes. Left and came back at 8:40. 8:55p left with order. Got home. Kebob? it was four chicken cubes that had, it seems, been sauteed in a pan and laid on a miniscule bed of 'held too long' rice- not on a skewer, no skewered vegetables! Salad was about - not exaggerating - four bites (if i were to have wanted to consume) of soggy lettuce. Two stars - the chicken was at least edible. Unordered baklava included - obviously to try to smooth over a likely never-to-return consumer. Did not check the order before I was out the door. Buyer beware! read more

My only complaints are that the food is somewhat overpriced (even with its quality considered) and the pita is rationed like water in the middle of the Sahara. Came here after reading the good reviews, but was totally shafted. Ordered a chicken shawarma plate for $17.99, a beef shawarma plate for $19.99, and two drinks at $2.99 each. They charged us 8.75% tax and on top of that, charged us another 3.99% for paying with card. My issue is this. One, I'm pretty sure it's illegal to charge a card fee if you're using a credit card. Debit card on the other hand, from what I understand is LEGAL. Employees should give their customers a heads up before they just charge this fee. Essentially, you're paying almost 13% tax on food if you calculate it. Onto my next gripe. Both plates were dry and lacked a lot of flavor. I've had shawarma many times and this was by far the worst tasting I've had. The only thing I enjoyed from the plate was the salad that it came with. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more

Food is really good. Shady ass pricing but... They charge $2.50 service fee for TAKE-OUT!!! I even ordered in the restaurant!!!! I could possibly understand if I phoned the order in and I definitely would understand if it was delivery... but I literally walked in and ordered food to go. Not to mention I waited over 15min for gyros. I realized after I paid and wondered if the tax was like 30%. I went back and asked how much was the gyro (customer receipt is not itemized to cover this up as well). He refused to admit that there is a hidden fee until I saw it on the store receipt as svc chg $2.50.
