Sharp Van Lines - Large amount of outdoor furniture moved 10 miles in less than 3 hours! - Movers Near Me - Irvington, New Jersey

My photos speak for themselves. Is anyone looking at them! The job should have been completed on the same day, not after the lease ended. There's no excuse whatsoever for failing to meet the terms of the moving agreement. read more

Movers very friendly. They completed the job under the 4 hour window Did a super job of packing my pod at the other end !!' I recommend highly Dima and his team ! read more

moved a large part of our belongings from our home to a storage facility less than 10 miles away. brought a very small truck, although wed been through the details of how they'd be moving a lot of items from a large home- which meant more back and forth to unload, and thus more time, which we ended up paying extra for. supervisor was loud, all day-it's a stressful enough situation without someone needing a high five every time he walked by... And he kept asking us questions, about things we feel a pro mover should have known, and making comments about our personal belongings, all day. We bought them lunch. Not one thanks, btw. They used our cups and paper plates-which they left laying around our front porch by the truck. They left empty water bottles (water bottles we had provided -why, I don't know), empty tape rolls, pieces of trash, and unused tape all over our house-just thrown around. Note: we heard one item crash as they were packing, but since we -stupidly-didn't get photos of that item, or review it with him before packing, he said it was already broken, so we have no recourse there. We commented that one small glass-topped table didn't seem to be protected well-supervisor actually snickered and said "it's fine." after I'd posted a review, a guy called me, repeatedly, to ask me what they could do to change it. He was insanely persistent -so many voicemails!-until I agreed to a "refund" of a small amount. we recently contacted the company several times to get a copy of our contract. they sent an expired link...and have not replied to 2 additional requests to send the correct info. Not a good experience at all so far. read more

I can't recommend Sharp Van Lines enough! Emil and his team were absolutely incredible. They were so kind, funny, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the entire move. They were super considerate, even taking out a chair for me to sit on while they kept working (which was the sweetest gesture!). They were extremely careful with all of our belongings but still managed to move everything so quickly and efficiently. The whole process was clean, smooth, and completely stress-free from start to finish. We've moved about four times in the past three years, and this was by far the best experience we've ever had by a landslide. On top of that, their quote was more affordable (by a few hundred dollars) than any of the others we received, and the quality of service was next-level. If you're looking for movers who are professional, caring, and lightning fast, Sharp Van Lines, I would highly recommend them. Emil and his crew are absolute gems! read more

The service provided was far and beyond what I expected. The movers were nice and accommodating. Their service and knowledge were invaluable to me, and a good value. We had a budget and stayed within it using Sharp Van Lines. Thank you! P.S. Don't forget to tip the movers. read more

We moved to Pennsylvania from Glendale AZ and needed movers to unpack 2 28 foot trailers. Sharp Van Lines provided the muscle and were efficient and took good care of our possessions. The team (we needed them for 2 days) was on time each day, went right to work and got the job done quickly and carefully. Unfortunately our new home had a pretty nice set of stairs to get the furniture to the primary home level. They handled the furniture unload with finesse and care. The team was great, respectful and as I said efficient. They took appropriate breaks and were able to complete the unload within the window we had agreed upon. I definitely would recommend Sharp Van Lines and use them again if I needed to relocate. They reduced the stress of the long distance move and got us safely unloaded in record time. Thanks Sharp Van Lines for your help....their pricing was appropriate and very reasonable and provided a level of value that we were looking for while still being affordable. We have no complaints whatsoever from our experience. read more

My tenant moved out using these guys. They did some damage but the owner was very nice & is taking care of it.

I put in a request for a moving quote, and they emailed me again and again over and over and have been spam calling my phone and email over and over, I blocked them and then they have continued to call from other numbers and from other emails. At this point it is harassment.. read more

5 Stars - Efficient, Careful, and Professional! We had an excellent experience with Sharp Van Lines and this is our 2nd time! From start to finish, the team worked expeditiously without cutting corners, and we were genuinely impressed by how carefully they handled all of our belongings. Every item--from fragile boxes to heavy furniture--was packed, moved, and placed with great attention and respect for our home. The crew was punctual, communicative, and clearly experienced. They stayed focused throughout the move and made what could've been a stressful day feel seamless and organized. If you're looking for a moving company that's fast but doesn't sacrifice care or professionalism, I highly recommend. We'll absolutely use them again. read more

I just had the best moving day. The team moved my 750-square-foot apartment in exactly 3.5 hours. I timed it. They had a system where one person wrapped furniture, another loaded, and they just flowed through the space. They took apart my large platform bed and put it back together in about 15 minutes flat at the new place. It was like watching a well-oiled machine. read more

definitely recommend their services. arrived on time, started quickly; wrapped and protected items and did not mind all the boxes we had. they made sure what was going what was fragile etc. I was amazed how quickly they packed the truck and how fast the unload was. the extra added on pricing was a bit unexpected; but overall their a good service to choose. definitely a recommend read more

Really great service, friendly team, and all of our packages arrived safely at our new home. One thing to keep in mind is that we did get an estimate on the moving costs ahead of the move but that call didn't make clear that materials were not included in the total, so after I described our total budget and how much we could afford to spend on the move, I thought that I was going to be spending the amount indicated in that call, but in reality, it was a few hundred dollars higher. Make sure you ask about material costs (boxes and tape) when getting an estimate! Overall, a great experience with a hard working team, and I intend to use Sharp again next time I move! read more

This review is a long time coming. Moved from NYC to Las Vegas and went through several moving choices, learned to avoid moving brokers, and instead went with an owned and operated. I did learn however, that with national moves, they do work with other companies, which was a slight surprise. But I digress. Andy was the person I was dealing with for the quote, and reserving the move. That was a painless process. Sergey was the lead person who arrived at my apt with his co-worker, and the two of them did the loading of the boxes. Yuri and I struck a nice rapport. The pics in this review are from the pickup. I also include pics because when I picked this company, I did it with a bit of a dice-roll, because there isn't a whole lot about Sharp Van Lines out there, but the price range was mid-level, and I felt good about the reviews I'd read hear and other places. Now back to the review... Once Sergey was done, he actually texted me pics from their van loading up the large van that was to eventually head out to Vegas. Note that they grabbed my stuff on July 18th. I received my stuff in Vegas on August 2nd. But here's where things got interesting. I live on The Strip. And loading/unloading stuff in my bldg is NOT easy. Even tougher than my pickup in NYC. And so, the driver for some reason could not find my bldg, and ended up in the wrong place twice. This is where the dispatcher, Vitaly comes in, and deserves credit. At certain points I know I lost my patience and got very snippy with him. And rightly so. But that said, Vitaly NEVER lost his cool (although I'm sure he was highly annoyed at the situation too) and when my first dropoff window was missed (my bldg requires advance notice), we rescheduled for the following day (8/2) and eventually made it happen. All my stuff was delivered intact - nothing broken, and for a reasonable rate. I've been very busy ever since, but this weekend I'm finally catching up on things, and writing this review has always been on my mental to-do list. So glad I'm finally getting it done. Lastly, I'm a bit surprised at the two negative reviews on here. While I never worked with Greg, I can say that Andy, Sergey, Vitaly, and even the person I worked with from National Carrier Inc were great (or at the very least decent) to work with. Particularly Sergey (nice guy) and Vitaly (who I can tell just wanted to do a good job). So all in all, I'm glad I chose Sharp Van Lines. read more

We highly recommend Sharp Van Lines for your move! We moved from a town in Nassau County to a town in Suffolk County which are 50 min apart. We have two small children and I was very nervous about this move! From the moment the movers came they made me feel at ease. The main person in charge told me to relax and have a cup of coffee and just this simple ease on his part made me feel better! As promised, 4 men showed up with the largest truck they promised! They had all the packing materials and took care of taking apart all the furniture without any issues! They had to move a lot of boxes and heavy refrigerator and furniture from the basement and did it without hesitation. They also had snow blower and generator to move and the entire garage and 1 family house. They worked nonstop only taking 20 min break for for lunch. They also organized and packed their truck in a very smart and organized way, no space wasted! They truly showed care for making sure they were not wasting our money. The price was extremely affordable comparing to all other companies I called per hour and very fair! They discussed all additional packing material and fuel costs ahead of time and there were no surprizes at the end! Everything was packed with care and nothing was damaged upon arrival! I would use them agin and again and also tecommended them for my Mother in law for her move from Florida! You will not regret using this company for your move! read more

Emil and Andrew did a great job, worked quickly and professionally and charged a very reasonable rate. Would highly recommend!

Great work, very respectful hard workers. They were able to efficiently move everything through very tight spaces safely.

Good service. Pleasant folks. Took a real interest in.their client. Great care was taken to ensure the items would arrive safely. They had a real work first, talk later attitude. Let me know when it was necessary for them to be late and let me know when they were approaching the site. read more

Would highly recommend Sharp Van Lines! They were very communicative and answered all my questions in advance. On the day of the move, they were on time and efficient, which was great since they charge by the hour. The pricing ended up being a little higher than anticipated from the initial quote due to packing fees (TVs were $25 when they said $10 on the phone, etc.) but overall very affordable and easy to work with. read more

I would definitely recommend this company and use them again. They were on time, they were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure my furnitures were taken apart and wrapped properly. When they get to my new apartment everything was off-loaded and put back together in a timely and efficient manner. We used Sharp Van Lines on June 26th, 2024 to move from Brooklyn,NY to Manchester, NJ. We were very happy with the service provided from Alex and his 3 associates. They were very concerned about protecting our fragile items such as TVs and glass tables. I would recommend using them for your moving needs. Note: There was a small discrepancy between the arrival time so just make sure that is confirmed with all parties involved. read more

I am very pleased with the quality of work provided by Sharp Van Lines. The movers showed up on time, they were ready to work. Thankfully the weather cooperated. We worked them for sure, moving out of a 3 bedroom house to an apartment. I highly recommend them. My only issue was I was not told upfront that regardless if they work 1 hour or 6 it is the same price. We were quoted by other companies by the hour and not flat rate This was resolved and was no big deal. Having this company do the moving for us was worth it. Especially since we only moved 6 months ago by ourselves. I will not do it alone anymore. I will call this company to move us in the years to come. Thanks for your help. read more

Great service! Guys are very professional. They made sure everything was handled with care. I will recommend the company 100%.

Great Service. These guys showed up early and did not hesitate to move anything and we had some trouble getting some of the stuff into the older which is much narrower and they handled it with no problem at all. Set everything up that they had taken apart and we're nice people. it was a breeze to set up and payment is accepted in many ways, since it was a weekend. I think we had to Zelle them some of the money and then get some cash out but as you know, they only give you so much cash on the weekend so we were able to make it work. they packed and moved an enormous which I was very worried about it and they had no problem at all. if you need help and you're moving, call these guys. read more
