We recently hired Jeronimo for the 2nd time to repair my parents' roof (different job from 2 years ago. My brother left a positive review for their previous job, which yelp's mysterious algorithm has chosen to hide - see 1/23/2018 review left by HC L from Aliso Viejo, in the "not currently recommended" section below). As before, we're very satisfied with Jeronimo's service. They were able to estimate & schedule our job quickly, quoted a reasonable price, and worked diligently and efficiently to provide a complete fix. They also provided helpful before & after photos and a 2-year warranty on their repairs. We highly recommend Jeronimo Roofing and will hire them again when we need roof work. They were prompt and courteous and gave us a quote and a date to start work. The quote was not cheap but quality roofing work is not cheap and they were in the ballpark of other work we have had done. Wow, the work was far a away better than we have had before. They completely replaced the flashing, underlayment and did a fantastic job. The only downside is that now I know how poor of a job our previous roofing company did. Of note is that we have solar panels and other roofers would not even come by to quote. Not only did Service Roofing quote and do the job but they work around the solar panels without compromising the work. Service Roofing did a great job.

I called several days in a row, but never received a call-back from the company to get the repairs done. I called them up and told them they never returned my calls and consequently never gave me an estimate. They only had a workorder that they never processed. I suggest you go to some company that is more organized and actually wants to work.

Gary lacks knowledge on the most basic principles of roofing, keeping water out! Gary has shown his…read moreincompetence and lack of knowledge on the most basic roof flashing details. This company was hired to inspect a metal roof system on a house we are purchasing. After reviewing GFR's report it became apparent that the field forman had zero knowledge on industry standard flashing details and said the roof just needed a $300.00 and change service call! Upon review of the photos Gary's team took as well as the photos our home inspector took it was apparent the roof was installed improperly based on my expertise in installing standing seam roofs in my home state. I contacted Gary the owner and expressed my concerns. He said he would go out the next morning to reinspect. After reinspection, Gary said he stood by his $300.00 and change caulk maintenance repair. I than sent a metal roof installer, "lic contractor" to reinspect the roof and flashing details after Gary Gas lit me. The second roofing contractor confirmed my suspicion of a poorly installed metal roof with faulty flashing installation. Bottom line the roof is trash. Gary and team could have cost us a lot of money on their lack of knowledge and I'm sure he has had his hand in a few similar stories based on reading his reviews. I noticed parallel stories and experiences. I would steer clear on this alone. Also as i mentioned, I install metal roofs in my home state hence my ability to call baloney on the report with poor images. Please look at photos attached from second lic. roofing contractor. I brought this up to Gary and he never called me back or facetimed me once on roof for the second inspection as I requested. He e mailed me saying they looked and he stands by his $300 dollar and change standard roofing tune up, which is one of his boys with a caulking gun. He replies to my review here saying we are trying to squeeze the sellers on credits etc and that he doesn't do that. Well what he does is not give you a realistic report on status of the roof, which is the whole reason one would hire him for his services. Seems to sell a maintenance protocol, than I would imagine you get hit later with the reality of the roof you thought was in good condition based on his inspection. Please take time to review his reviews and read his response in regards to similar stories. Also take the time to review the photos and synopsis of what's wrong with roof from the second lic. roofer that was called in for a second opinion. I even outlined to Gary my concerns and it was in one ear and out the other. He had been told what to look at from my 20 plus years in the metal roofing buisness. Basically gas lit me on everything. I truely look forward to another response from Gary. I posted the photos below in response to Gary's response to my review. Gary I got all the receipts i.e. photos on your roofing inspection that's wrong on so many levels. "but Yelp is often used as leverage to unfairly disparage a business when a clients expectations are UNREALISTIC." Gary realistic is a professional evaluation of a roof so buyers can make educated desisions! "We remain committed to fair, professional service. If you would prefer to know the truth please call me at (949) 290-4856" Please call him he says, that's laughable Gary never answers the phone not even when you have a escrow deadline! Read the other reviews, Gary never answers the phone! I know CEO's of large corporations who answer their phones! Gary hides behind his email screening when it's time to talk or when he says he'll get back to you. We had a deadline and he promised me he'd call me back than proceeded to ghost me the rest of the day. "GFR does not exploit sellers by identifying roofs that require replacement solely for the purpose of enabling buyers to obtain significant credits." But what Gary the Fox does do is not give a professional assessment of a roof, so people can be informed on one of the biggest purchases of their lives. "The roof in question has been in place for many years without any reported issues." Gary how would you know the roof has been in place for many years without issue? Do you have prior history with this roof? That would be a conflict of intrest and unethical if you have history here and did not disclose. Do you work with the sellers agent on lots of repeat buisness? "This situation is a blatant case of attempting to leverage buyer advantages at the expense of the seller." I beg to differ... This situation is a blatant case of either unethical behavior or complete ignorance on your companies behalf. I also would like to bring up that Gary's photo resolution is so low quality that you can barely see what your looking at! Gary it's 2026 and high resolution cameras are on everyone's phones! My 12 year old daughter has high resolution photos on her school projects and she's not hired to inspect 5 million dollar houses.
