Anna just changed her front-door sign to CLOSED on Th, as well as W. Very busy, lately. Has team of…read moreat least two other women--all seem experienced and ESL, though Anna's English is very good. 24-minute parking in front was available twice out of my first visits, whether weekend or weekday--but easy to find parking within a half-block walk. Her rates are a GREAT bargain, so great that I paid her more than she asked for, twice. Granted, my substantial-weight crepe evening gown with a fancy flounce "large fluted" hem required an additional 2" taken up--not sure what happened with the first pinning (with my gown heels on) in her shop. I didn't notice was too long after initial hemming while in her shop's small dressing room with full-length mirror, so had to drive almost an hour back again after realizing some "sweep" (drag ) can work for indoor events, but I'll be on gravel and grass a lot, also (actually an OSHA hazard, plus grass and dirt stains unlikely to come out). Not an easy hem due to the elegant outward bias cut! Felt awful asking her to hem more (time consuming!), though I pinned it myself second time at home so I had time to be more careful, this second time. I told her I'd compensate her for her time. In the end, my hem was gorgeous! I asked how much more I should pay her, and she said I didn't need to. That's amazing integrity. I had to pay her more! (A lot of driving to return, but where I live, the tailors are charging 5-10X as much--and know they're flagrantly overcharging. Anna's asking charge was a bargain $90 for tricky hem and taking in tricky bodice; needed two to three weeks.) Anna also took in the top bodice of my strapless gown, which was not easy because there was a 3mm circumferential band of "rubber cement" to keep gown up. I'm very pleased. She took good care of my gown, which is prone to snagging and had a 10" beaded appliqué which didn't help matters. (One reviewer complained of funny smell when she got garment back; happy to report no funny smell, and my crepe gown was in shop for four to five weeks.) Smile, and watch her smile :-D Sweet smart Anna has a twinkle in her eyes and a FANTASTIC sense of humor--though she's so incredibly busy, don't expect nonstop Conan! I asked her before I wrote this if she actually wanted even more business. She replied, with her twinkle, "Yes, more business. More business, more happiness!" 囍 (lol ... I threw my head back, laughing so hard, that I got a little whiplash :-O ouch:))

If you are a bride, bridesmaid or have an important dress/outfit needing expert alterations, this is the place. I can't believe how great of a job they did. I asked them to hem, and do "work on my bridesmaid dress" to cover my cleavage and shorten the straps. The expert seamstresses came up with an idea to reuse the hemmed fabric to add a much needed inch to the draping of the bodice to cover my over exposed cleavage. They were able to do a rush job turnaround in a week, and the results were stunning. I would have been embarrassed to show so much skin, but they did such a beautiful job that the bride loved the dress on me even more. And their store location is beautiful. It was truly a VIP experience. See my before selfie. I'm quite exposed. And then the end result with a more modest finish.

Her attention to detail and knowledge of fabric, cut and style is impeccable. If I need something to fit me like a glove, I do not go anywhere else. I trust her with my everyday items, casual, business, etc. i'm so thankful for the day my husband introduced me to her. Her boutique is quaint and pretty and has a curated selection of clothing and accessories from all over the world. She made me look beautiful on my wedding day and did a great job of altering my Anthropologie gown.
