I've always enjoyed visiting Sharky's. It's a great place in the area for good food, friendly service and a fun, laid back atmosphere. Recently they opened the addition the Pier, so we tried it tonight. And wow, the food alone is amazing. Our server told us that they cook everything in a coal fire oven. Let me tell you, it works for them! We shared a margarita pizza that was really tasty and spying the food around us, I can't wait to go back and try something else! They also have an outdoor deck you can sit at. There's these great big garage like doors that open up and you can order at the bar from the outside! Great concept. Austin was a great server. Also, there was a young man David who was very helpful. Our drinks came out in a timely fashion as well as our food. The food was cooked as ordered and I had a fantastic time. Also, our server (Austin) looks like Andrew Garfield. That's freaking awesome. Won't get that anywhere else in Latrobe. Come to Sharky's. Unfortunately though we were there during a Pens game and were not offered a free shot (when the Pens score). They were not clear with their details and my friend and I were very disappointed. Sharky's has become one of my favorite restaurants in town. I can say that I have never had a bad meal and service is usually quick and attentive. We have been coming for years but never had such an amazing experience with our server as we did on Friday night. Davon goes WAY ABOVE and beyond what is asked, he made our experience fun, he was tentative, made sure our order was right before putting it into the system, and personable. I can honestly say I have never had a better server at any restaurant that I have visited! We even got hugs on our way out :) We hope to have him as a server again next time we choose to dine there. read more

Recently attended a birthday party for a little over 40 people. Since the restaurant was told there would be between 25 and 30, the room was set up accordingly . When it appeared that there would be more, the manager Rachel went to work getting 10 more tables and chairs. This was done so efficiently and quickly that it didn't disturb the party whatsoever. Since each of us ordered from the menu, the chore was astronomical but our server Amanda handled it amazingly . Food was served quickly and the drinks were kept filled. Love this place. FIRST THING...... Korean wings, IMHO great and unique flavor. Very tasty and huge. Good size bar area and the dining room is massive. Always have a good mix and variety of sports on the bar TVs. I personally ride a lot of motorcycle and this place is easy to get in and out of right on Route 30. My girlfriends and I went to the Pier for dinner and drinks and had the most enjoyable server. It was very busy, but Alexa was quick to fill our drinks, funny, and made our experience rather enjoyable. She suggested items on the menu that we never would have tried, but did so because of her witty charm and her knowledge of the menu. Sharky's Cafe is my weekly stop for happy hour with half-off drinks, especially on Mondays or Tuesdays for wing night. The stromboli's cheesy and crispy, the grilled cheese cheeseburger's a total guilty pleasure, and the wings are always crispy and saucy. They've got a solid beer lineup too, with constantly changing options. Once, my order was wrong, but the manager, Emily, swapped it out quick, no hassle. Sharky's nails good food and chill vibes. If the games in the bar aren't your thing, you will love the watching the games on their incredible flat screen TVs. Me and my fiancé just ate at Sharkys and it was amazing the customer service was very good our server Courtney R she was very attentive to our needs amd asked if we needed anything and pretty funny. We asked about the feed items we wanted and needed more information on it she was able to respond well and talked me into the stuffed chicken breast. New in town and exploring the area and stumbled in and was pleasantly surprised! Large and spacious, great menu, decent wine and my bartender, Anita, was just perfect! I visit Sharky's often. Very nice sports bar atmosphere and great food. There are always new weekly specials in addition to the regular menu. The Pier offers an outdoor seating option that is unique to the Latrobe area. Had wings and pizza this week. Both were excellent. Try the cheesesteak. Won't be disappointed. Great experience even though the place was extremely busy with Steeler camp. We did not have a reservation for our party of 9 but they made accommodations for us with no problem. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We all ordered something different and everyone raved how good everything was!! We will definitely be back to visit soon!! read more

The food here is fantastic and the staff was very courteous and professional. They all seemed happy to be there and working with the public , not like some places where the servers act like they're being forced to wait on customers. Free popcorn is offered to munch on before/ during your meal as well. Overall, a great experience. read more
