I've lived here a long time and every time I always find that Sharky's has never dipped in quality. Though they may not be known for their wings, this is not a weakness for they excel in customer satisfaction with everything else. Their sandwiches are top notch and their fries excel. I've been a frequent customer here. I generally don't have any issues with the food or service, but on my last few visits here, I noticed a few things that just don't sit well with me. The ladies room is horrible. It never looks clean, the doors are literally falling off the hinges and it's just overall uncomfortable to go in there. The second problem I had was with my food, which as I mentioned above, I generally don't have issues with. I ordered the buffingwich, grilled chicken in a wheat wrap with just cheese and some wing sauce. The cheese was barely melted and the chicken was warm at best. I had this happen one time before and the staff were happy to take it back and bring a new one out that was hot, but this being the second time it happened, I let it go. I'm only bringing these things up because I really enjoy coming here and things used to be so much better. I hope they can get back to that level of customer satisfaction. read more

The 5 of us got together for double birthdays.It is half way between both of our homes.(Johnstown and Irwin)Bad choice to meet here to celebrate.Was seated fine and then forgotten.10 minutes into the visit we had to ask a waitress if anyone was coming to serve us.She did and ended up being are waitress.Once we ordered it took forever for burgers and a salad.My food was burnt and wrong items on it.Didn't complain because it would of taken forever for another burger to be cooked.Then her food had a problem.Which had the manager come over and talk to us.He did comp her food and take 15% off rest of the meals.Overall we were in there way to long for lunch.No wonder they were not busy on a Sunday afternoon. read more

One of my favorite bars/restaurants in Latrobe. Great food, wings are the best around with several good sauces to pick from. Nice beer selection, including crafts. TV's everywhere, perfect place to catch any sporting event, especially Steelers or Pens. Huge bar & lots of tables. Servers & bartenders are the best around. During Steeler training camp in Latrobe in the summer you can usually see a few players, coaches, or news personalities. If you are in Latrobe you have to stop here for a drink or to eat! read more

Food is pretty good but the service is slow. Pretty decent location for a hang-out spot.

I am sincerely disappointed in this restaurant. After a wedding we were shuttled here. I am a responsible person and drank 3 glasses of wine during the reception. When i attempted to get my 2nd drink ( i had spent 50$ on other members drinks) i was told i was told i was too drunk to serve. WE LOVE SHARKY'S! It's our absolute most favorite place to go, and for ANY occassion. Birthday, Date night, Family dinner, Happy hour, Special Occasion or just to watch the game(and ANY game on ANY tv from ANY angle you choose!!)- sharky's is our place! We have yet to have something that we don't absolutely love. We've never had bad service. It's always clean. The food is literally excellent and their menu provides you with so much to choose from...whether you want a nice dinner, bar food, a drink and appetizers- they have it all! The worst part about going there is deciding what the heck I want because it's all so good so we really appreciate the popcorn they provide while we make our decisions! We love the atmosphere as well....Sharky's always gives us a great experience and we CAN'T wait to go back!! read more

I decided to try something new since I've repeatedly tried the same few items (and loved them all!). I had many great choices, and when my food arrived, it was even better than I expected! Started with lackluster hostess and greeting. Seated in dining room where only 1 other table was occupied. Waitress seemed bothered to have a table and was not knowledgeable about the menu. Had to ask more than once for a bottled beer and mug. Never did get a mug. Was served limes in a napkin after asking several times for limes to go with a beer. A party of 4 people ordered a side salad. Boneless wings, regular wings and a large salad with salmon. It took 40 minutes for our order to be served. Salmon was cold and unseasoned and chopped. The regular wings were To be garlic and butter. Basically the wings were unseasoned and tasteless. No butter on them at all. Waitress was pretty much nonexistent. You could understand if we were there at a busy time but like I stated previously there was 1 other table in the dining room. We never go a manager's visit to the table. We will not be going here again. Very very sad as this used to be a decent place to eat. Way over priced. Poor service and poor tasting food. There are much better sports bars in the area. Will opt for fast food in place of Sharkys. read more

Our server Juliana was a great server. She was on the ball when it came to refilling our drinks. She was just great and fun to talk to.

My husband and I flew into the local airport for a weekend getaway. We stopped at the first restaurant, which was Sharky's, what a big mistake!! The staff was eyeing my husband the whole time, I was soo uncomfortable. They are a bunch of college kids trying to get tips from the men. read more

I ordered three entrés for delivery. When they arrived I was disappointed to find out that they forgot to bring one of my meals. They also put a salad in the smallest box they had. Do not order for delivery from Sharky's Cafe. It's extremely overpriced and inferior to other restaurants that deliver. Go to Dino's instead. read more

Food is good here but management can always ruin things by trying to rip off take out customers. I eat here all the time when staying next door at the Wingate hotel and have always had problems with not getting what I ordered, however this was the first time I felt like I was completely ripped off. Apparently if you order something that says includes one side that does not mean it is free. Menu includes something called an upcharge. Also stomboli says it includes two meats and two vegtables. I would have preferred all vegtables but chose two meats only to have another three dollars and twenty five cents added to my charge for chichen !!! Thought my bill would be slightly over twenty dollars but got hit with over twenty seven dollars. Argued with manager over this ( 05/19/15 8.00 pm ) and got two dollars back when he admitted the charges were deceiving. There are lots of places to eat around this hotel so I can not for the life of me understand why someone would try to cheat me out of a couple dollars when it will cost them so many future orders. Hey owner if you read these reviews hire better workers. read more
