Bobby did an excellent job replacing the windshield in my daughter's 1989 Camry. Upon removal of the old glass, repairs were made to prep for the new glass. Bobby went the extra mile and removed some rust that was beneath the old glass. Some shops would caulk right over that and call it a day. I appreciated Bobby's attention to detail, wealth of knowledge, and punctuality. I have other vehicles that I'll be taking to him in the future. read more

Unreliable. Unresponsive. Requested service with Sharky's. He wasn't sure how to do my car because it is new (2017) and has all the bells and whistles for avoidance. I researched and was told that the system would need to be calibrated at the dealer. Well might as well get it all done at the dealer I thought. Sharky's called and said that they could take care of it but wanted me to contact the dealer and get the part number "just to make sure". Did that and forwarded to Sharky's. Then I got a run around about checking with suppliers, calling the dealer, dealing with the insurance. Asked for a simple follow up via text last Wednesday and was told he would call on Thursday. No call. Requested a follow up via text on Friday. No response. Called yesterday and left a message requesting an update. Still no call. Sorry. Gotta get my windshield fixed. May may do good work (have no clue) but I can say they score very low on responsiveness. read more

First they put my glass in wrong so that my rear window wiper didn't work, then when they replaced the glass, they left all kinds of epoxy smeared around the edges. After a rock hit my windshield on the freeway, I called up big brandname safelite to get a quote. They wanted$485. I called Sharkys next after finding some good reviews, and Bobby was much more helpful. He explained what parts he would need and that if he could help it, he'd avoid using and charging me for one of the parts, making his quote half of Safelite. Admittedly, I was a little skeptical when I showed up at his shop, but he did an absolutely fantastic job. He took his time and was careful, and even was able to save the part he spoke to me about over the phone which ended up saving me about $200. I would highly recommend Bobby and his team. read more

Great reviews online, very helpful when calling for the quote. Next day scheduled for 8 am appointment, even better! I had very high hopes for my windshield replacement and was thankful that I would have the first appointment the next day. 10 am rolls around and haven't heard anything, so I call and was told someone would be at my house at 12 or 12:30. Then I wait until 2 pm and finally the gentleman comes to look at my windshield. Communication about delays would be greatly appreciated. When he arrives, he patronizingly tells me that I didn't tell him all of the information about the windshield, but that if I want to "look at the ones in his van that he brought" then I can. Who tells a woman that she can look at the windshields in their van? How am I supposed to know if a windshield will fit my car by looking at it in a van? He repeatedly told me that he "was trying to educate me" about windshields. I understand that the windshield was not in stock (I had already been told this by other auto glass companies), but I did not appreciate being spoken to like it was my fault. I made arrangements to work at home so someone wouldn't have to work the dark parking garage at my workplace. I think Sharky's construed this as "come whenever you feel like it". Not the case, I still have to work and I would appreciate the decency of an approximate appointment time. To the gentleman who came to my home, if you have a wife or daughter, I think you would be infuriated if someone spoke to them the way you spoke to me. I was trusting you as the auto glass expert. I spoke with other companies who asked for more information about my car to determine the correct windshield. To show up late with out even the slightest apology and then have a smug attitude is inappropriate. What a huge disappointment. I would not recommend Sharky's to anyone.
