I will say, that at the time of my visit, there were high school students that were perhaps loitering. After overhearing some of their conversation I felt a bit uneasy. Ordered the fish and chicken combo, and I could tell it was fresh and served hot. This says a lot, as the place was crowded on a Friday evening, and they were still able to give me fresh food in a timely manner. Went back a couple days later, and they only gave a handful of fries and small wings. If I would've had a consistent experience, I would have given this location 4 stars. I can make 2 meals off of a small catfish nugget meal and I am not a light eater. The pop selection is awesome and the desserts are delicious. One of the best Shark's location as far as food quality in the Chicagoland. The only thing is that they purposely leave the phone off-the-hook. I live very close and always have to come in and wait versus picking up. USUALLY I come to this site every Wednesday for a large Tilapia fried well. Yesterday I waited over 25 minutes for my meal and when questioned after 20 .minutes cook had just put it down. Although the food was very good, the wings were small and I ordered 30 wings but when I got home and started serving them up, there were only 24 wings. I called and they told me if I come back they would give me ten. I told them I couldn't come back that night because it was already late and I didn't have a ride. The lady said whenever I came back they would give it to me and as she was about to say goodbye I asked "don't you need my name?" She says oh ok what's your name. I gave her my name and asked for the managers name so I could ask for him when I came back. She told me to ask for Steve or Anon. Last night I ordered 2 combo's. 1 catfilet and shrimp, 1 cat filet and jumbo shrimp.$23 I get it home and i am in shock, I little tiny fillet& 3 shrimp in 1 order &1 little fillet and 10 scrawny shrimp in the other. 11 bucks each. Decided to try this location based on the reviews and the size of the crowd of people waiting on their food. Well looks are deceiving. We ordered wings and everyone in the house tried them. The hubby and I thought they were just "ok" and our young adult sons thought they were fine.
