The orders I have received are missing coleslaw as mentioned on the menu. At least the food is hot to the taste.

I actually love coming to eat early because the servers are a little more attentive since they just started their shift and the service is a little faster as there are less tables. Let me tell you, though, whatever we came it was quite busy with graduations and family dinners-which I didn't mind at all! What ate a relatively large meal as I had eaten a smaller lunch. We started off with the wedge salad and a yellowtail sushi roll. The wedge salad was pretty average, but the dressing was really delicious. The yellowtail was also pretty good and the jalapeño topping gave an extra kick last minute. For the entrées, we ordered the scallops as well as the pan seared Chilean Seabass. The scallops are buttery, rich, and had a perfect crispy crust. The Seabass was flaky and light-overall a very good combination of flavors. We got a side of the broccolini and then the crème brûlée and a piece of Keylime pie to go. Overall a very filling and delicious meal-I was pleasantly surprised with the scallops and how light the sea bass was.

The wood shelving, classic decor, and lively atmosphere made it feel timeless. The service was easily one of the best parts of the experience. Since it was our first visit, David walked us through the restaurant's history, constantly refilled waters, and somehow managed to clear plates within seconds of us finishing. They also made us an anniversary card, gave us complimentary sparkling water, and surprised us with a slice of key lime pie. The hospitality was incredible and made us feel genuinely celebrated. The stone crab was super fresh and the mustard sauce was the perfect pairing. The crab bisque was rich and creamy. The filet was cooked perfectly with a great sear, while the stuffed lobster tail was warm, flavorful, and topped with a parmesan crust. The lobster roll was solid with a perfectly toasted brioche bun. The sweet corn was sweet, buttery, and smoky. For dessert, the blueberry pie was so comforting. The filling had a chewy texture, wasn't overly sweet, and the crust was perfectly crisp. The key lime pie was a nice surprise from the restaurant and had a great graham cracker crust. Overall, every dish was delicious and executed well but nothing really wowed me flavor wise. If you love classic steakhouse food and seafood, this is the spot. The service alone makes it a fantastic spot for celebrations. Thank you David & Joe's Seafood for the incredible night.

People like him have almost a "super‑recognizer" ability: they store faces, mannerisms, and micro‑details the way others remember song lyrics. It's rare, and when you encounter it, it feels almost uncanny in the best way. And the fact that he consistently recognizes you over the years tells you it's not luck. It's intentional, it's skill, and it's part of why the place feels special before you even sit down. Pair that with a meal that exceeded expectations -- that's the kind of night that reminds you why you've been a loyal patron for so long. Great food is memorable, but great hospitality is what makes a restaurant feel like a second home.

The service was very good, even though they were busy, and they were still able to accommodate our party of eight without an issue. When we arrived, they explained they only have one outdoor table that seats more than four people (we had five), and it would be about a 45-minute wait or we could be sat right away inside. We decided to wait for outside so headed to the bar for cocktails. About an hour later, our table was ready. After seeing the patio layout, the wait made sense. The seating area along the river is long and narrow, with mostly four-top tables and just one larger table at the end to keep the walkway clear for servers and guests. The view was absolutely worth it! Sitting right on the water, watching the boats cruise by on a beautiful evening, made for a great atmosphere. Our server was incredibly kind, but I don't think she had much support behind the scenes. We started with oysters and a bottle of wine, and my son ordered a glass of milk. The wine arrived quickly, but the milk didn't show up until after our entrees. Even the complimentary bread and butter didn't arrive until the very end of the meal. Whether it was the kitchen, food runners, or simply too many tables, the service throughout the evening was painfully slow. Thankfully, we weren't in a hurry and were happy to soak in the beautiful setting. After the oysters, we ordered a bowl of clam chowder to split along with our entrees. My dad and I shared the whitefish with broccolini, lemon, and the Portobello & Basmati Rice. The fish was cooked perfectly--flaky, fresh, and absolutely delicious. My husband and daughter shared the lobster roll, which they both loved, and my son enjoyed the kids cheeseburger. The only problem? Our clam chowder never arrived...and neither had the milk or bread. We flagged down a food runner, who kindly brought out the missing milk and a bowl of clam chowder. A few minutes later, our server came over carrying two cups of clam chowder because she remembered we had originally planned to split it and another glass of milk! Suddenly we had two milks, one bowl of clam chowder, two cups of clam chowder, no bread, and an apology. We asked one more time for the bread, and it eventually made its way to the table. By the end of the night, we couldn't help but laugh because the service had become so comically disorganized. It honestly felt like everything that could get mixed up did. Our server was genuinely sweet and clearly felt bad. If you're looking for a beautiful patio with gorgeous River Walk views and good seafood, Legal Sea Foods delivers. The whitefish and lobster roll were outstanding, and the oysters were a great way to start the meal. Just be prepared for service that may test your patience. Hopefully our experience was a one-off, but judging by how the evening unfolded, I'm not entirely convinced. Still, that waterfront view made it hard to stay too frustrated.

They played a birthday song over the speakers and let us bring a cake to the restaurant. Service wise, would give this place a 10/10. The food was really unique and special, you don't see a lot of these dishes at Chinese restaurants. The menu had many many different options to choose from. We shared the twin lobster sticky rice (came with 2 lobsters for $88), the salted yolk pumpkin, and the pork belly chicken soup. The soup was good but the white pepper taste was a bit too strong. The other dishes were on the heavier, oily side but they were really delicious. There were generous portions of lobster. They served a really nice, fragrant jasmine tea with dinner which they kept refilled and pipping hot. Bathroom was clean and the restaurant has a beautiful design inside that's nice for parties of 4 or larger groups for family style dining. There's plenty of paid street parking options, around $5 for 2 hours. I would recommend giving it a try!
