On the outside of Seafood Junction it looks way smaller than what it really is. We tried them for the 1st time on Friday 3/29. I was pleasantly surprised when we got there and went in because there were tons of cars there and we were afraid that there would be a wait but there wasn't. We were seated as soon as we walked in. They have a very large Fried seafood bar with everything you can imagine on it as well as a salad bar and to top things off a dessert bar. Everything is home cooked and so good! The waitress and all of the staff were exceptionally nice and quick. If you don't want the buffet which is well worth $23.95 each, they have a menu with everything thing on it from Seafood to hamburgers and even steak. We WILL be back! read more

For some reason the location I went to (325 South Cicero ave) isn't listed on Yelp nor Seafood Junction's website. Much closer to downtown... Wow, I don't know where to begin. I'll start with the bad, the salmon was a little dry & didn't taste very fresh but otherwise was seasoned to perfection. That's it for the bad! I opted for the #24 which is 1/2 lb of peel & eat shrimp & I upgraded to the large lobster tail. The cashier helped me choose my seasonings because this was my first time. I believe it was garlic butter, Cajun & lemon pepper. The portions are huge & they come with some amazing corn, vegetables & potatoes. I ordered 3 pans of crab clusters for Mother's Day!! I ordered Jerk, lemon pepper and Cajun. THEY ALL WERE DELICIOUS The only thing I don't like is you can't Pre-order your food so I had to keep it warm until my guest's arrived. Never been here, was gonna try them out, I called to enquire about Clam Chowder Soup, the Lady who answered was rude and sarcastic because I asked if they sold Clam Chowder soup, she snaps at me and says "This is a seafood place, we don't sell soup just seafood"...maybe she don't know what Clams are....oh well I'll spend my money elsewhere !!!!!! read more

I love that they accept EBT for payment. You do have to pay a $1 prep fee but it's only that. You can only swipe your card once w/ a limit of $180 so order everything you want at once. I got the 1/2lb. shrimp combo, it was decent. Could've been more flavorful.. however I am used to more juicy, wet seafood. Not the dry seasoning kind. Decent for the price! So I live in Hammond, IN came here to place a large order and as a meet up location to pick up my mom since she came from Dallas to visit. My mom doesn't drive so my brother who lives near Greek town brought her. We all made separate orders. I ordered 5 lobster tails and candy grapes totaling $139.87. I was the second to place my order but the very last one to receive it. I waited so long for the order I was told takes 20mins for. Then I get home to discover my candy grapes are not in the bag. Then the girl proceeded to Blamed the guys cooking the food (saying they told me it was just that). Mind you she asked for my receipt to give me my order. What was the point of you asking for my receipt and the receipt sign on the window if you were not going to check for what I ordered.?!?!?! Then she said she lied gave it to my brother and that she figured we were together so she put it in his bag. So I'm thinking you gave my food away because you assumed we were together like we didn't make separate orders?!?!? We contacted my brother to learn he only received his order and that they just didn't give me my food. See It is not the fact that she didn't have my complete order that pissed me off or the fact I had to drive 30min back to the place for my food .... I used to love this place, but owners need to do better job when it comes to who they hire to represent their businesses. After waiting 20 minutes for a call-in order, I get home and my order is wrong. So, I call to resolve and I am blamed then I overhear the cashier cursing about me to a co-worker. I have loved this place ever since I first tried it, but the more I ate it..the more I discovered the quality went down. I order the number 5 I believe which comes with scrimp, lobster tail, a crab leg cluster, corn, potatoes, and vegetables. First off, the lobster tail is usually cooked until it's tough. I've complained to them about this several times and usually my order is corrected. But you must tell them when ordering. I sometimes order a piece of salmon and sometimes it shrinks so that it's only a little square of meat. The vegetables and potatoes are always soooooo good. I always choose the lemon pepper and original seasoning. The corn is always soggy. The young ladies behind the register are usually pleasant. But calling your order in over the phone is a totally different story. Also there are no substitutions. read more

This was the absolute worst seafood experience I have ever had. I ordered lemon pepper and cajun king crab, I am totally pissed this shit was so dry and flavorless the meat stuck inside the shell. This was NOT king crab legs at all. It was cold, so I had to steam it and got pissed the more I forced myself to eat it ONLY cause it was paid for. I felt so guilty for hyping this place up that I felt obligated to pay my friend back for this disappointment. I have been a customer of this establishment for over three years , but lately the customer service has been horrible . Most recently I have tried to enter the restaurant at 8:31 and the door was locked and the young lady at the front said they where closed . The hours say that they close at 9pm. I called her on the phone and she informed me that they closed early today and was done taking orders. On 05/19/21 my son birthday I called to make sure that they would be open and the young lady said yes, and she could not take my order over the phone . I live just 10 minutes away and arrived at 8:30 again and the door was looked and she said that they where closed . Last I checked 8:30 is not 9:00 .
