Great place, very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. We went on a Friday night so our food took a little while to come out, but every dish of the four our group ordered was excellent! Shark Bites is amazing, jamie was our server/bartender and was very knowledgeable of the food coming from the kitchen and very friendly. Kept me entertained the whole time while doing a fantastic job at her role in the restaurant. Santana who was front of house manager was also very friendly and welcoming. The food was great, I had jumbo prawns and onion rings and will be back for something else of the menu. If you are in the market for good clam chowder, keep driving. Although the chowder had a good flavor and the portion was large, it was unusually thin and watery and was more soupy than chowder like. The potatoes in the chowder were peeled and were so thin, they could be mistaken for onion skins. They also included bits of salami in the chowder. Now the good: the other people in our party raved about the halibut sandwiches and the cod fish and chips. Atmosphere was casual and a little dark inside. Water was served out of fun Mason jars. It took a good 10 minutes to get seated though there appeared to be enough empty tables and the table we were seated at was slightly sticky. I've eaten here twice, and both times the food has been pretty delicious. Service can be hit or miss. The first time I was in with a large group. They accommodated us pretty well and service was good. I liked the oyster appetizers. They weren't over cooked, so they didn't have that chewy, rubber tire feel. The Southwestern slaw tacos were delicious. They were not soggy when they came out, but they will get that way if you let them sit. It is slaw, afterall! Second visit not nearly as good as the first. Came back a month later by myself on a busy Saturday. I ate at the bar, as I wasn't interested in waiting an hour or later for a table. Service was painfully slow. It took longer than 15 minutes to place a drink order (I was beginning to think no one saw me), and even longer to place an order for food. I was fine with the wait, as I knew the food would be good. It was middle of the road. I got the Dungeness crab cake burger. It was huge, but the cake was a little too moist for my liking. I picked it up to take a bite and the cake pretty much disintegrated. The flavor of the cake was lovely though. Definitely a place I'd bring out of town visitors who wanted good seafood. For lunch atleast, when they aren't rushed. read more

If you're looking for a good local fish restaurant this is not it. The decorations and over restaurant looks really cool. But to start out with, the waitress didnt give us any time to look at our menu, and came back at 1 minute intervals to check if we knew what we wanted and us being new here, we were still looking over our meal choices and starters. I ordered the Shrimp cocktail and my boyfriend the Oysters. The oysters were fried as we were expecting steamed but the breading was soggy, and had the consistency of mashed potatoes and did not taste fresh whatsoever. The shrimp cocktail was soggy and had no real taste. At this point were about 25 bucks in already and disappointed. We ordered some alcohol and was super disappointed to spend $10 each drink and no flavor, just mostly cheap alcohol.. and couldnt eat coleslaw and was refused to switch to a salad.. disappointing considering you could switch fries for salad which both coleslaw and fries came with the meal. My boyfriends salad was warmer than room temp. And our prawns were super small. Overall the meal was terrible in every way and a waste of money. Would never reccomend. read more
