I love Sharetea and I'm so happy that one opened close to my home. Personally, I enjoy their milk teas and fruit teas more than anything else. I would avoid their ice blended drinks in general. Halfway into it, it turns into a slushy and loses all of its flavor. Drinks I recommend: Ice Cream Black Tea Matcha Milk Tea Oolong Crema Winter Melon (get this 50% sweet or less!) Whole Lemon Black Tea They always seem to have a lot of new drinks and specialty drinks like light bulb bubble milk teas, but don't trust it! It's a gimmick! 3.5 stars. Sharetea is almost always guaranteed to be at least decent. I ordered my usual oolong milk tea with boba. Milk tea was decent and a little bit too sweet at 100%. Boba was sweet and chewy. The drink was made a little messy and there was some spillage, the girl had to wipe it down with the cloth but I still had to wipe it down some more. This location also has a stamp card. There is plenty of parking spots in the plaza parking lot and a lot of food options near by. read more

I love ShareTea! I'm so sad that the SF area has shut down their other locations except the one in Metreon... but either way, I don't like making my way down to crowded downtown just for boba. Now that I work in Oakland, I sometimes come by to get my boba fix - classic black milk tea with boba :) They make it with just the perfect amount of sweetness and everything! I don't like anything else though...so I guess I'm just basic? haha. - If you're ordering during the weekends, lines may be kinda long, but the wait is longer, especially with those people who make big orders. - Customer service is meh. -Huge parking lot since it is a shopping center, which I love. - There are a few tables in there, so it's nice to sit and talk with people. - Wifi is listed on the bottom of the receipt. - They also have a stamp card for their drinks. Came into this place and the music is deafening loud. I asked the cashier to lower the volume and he then asks this other woman and she straight up shrugs and I ask her again and clarify if she's saying no ?! Then she rolls her eyes and says I can try and continues on her way and basically ignores me. Very rude staff here. I can't wait until Happy Lemon opens up and takes this place down and this place closes shop. I now have permanent damage to my ears from the volume. Finally, a boba place near me. Thanks for bringing sharetea to town. I no longer have to make the 3 mile trip drive down Washington avenue. The greenhouse market place now officially has it all. I enjoy the bountiful flavors offered. Every time I go I order green tea matcha with the red bean. I like the percentage option of how much sweetness we'd like in our drinks. I'd like to make a shout out to Ryan Y. who portrays great customer service and always has a smile on his face. Me and my girl I both drink from there. Once we walked out I shake mines to mix the boba around. But I slip it out of my hands right in front of the store. I help clean the mess when the guy came out. So I ask my girl can you go in and explain what happened. I was thinking they would understand my situation. Came here a few times to kill some time and try a new sharetea, even though they are all basically the same. They have a few bogo deals that are different from other locations. Their bogo deals are sesame milk tea, pineapple tea, and passion fruit tea. I got their bogo deal for sesame milk tea and passiom fruit tea. It ended up being $4 for 2 drinks which isnt bad at all. Sesame milk tea was really gritty and nutty, almost choked because the drink was so dry. I should have ordered this drink warm. Passionfruit tea was plenty sweet at 50% sweet. I came in here with no idea what to get. After looking at the top 20 drinks, I was like nah I ain't no basic bitch and then I saw it - ginger milk tea. I came here because I saw this location had the stardust drinks and it looked super good and fun. I ordered the butterfly pea tea with lemon juice. It didn't look like the image I had seen. It was just pink. But I guess it's whatever. I tried the drink and it was nothing special at all. It tasted like a watered down lemonade. I did like the drink but for the price, it wasn't worth it. I love Sharetea, and this used to be one of my favorite locations, but lately, the drinks have been very inconsistent. The last few times I've visited, the boba has either been too soft, or stuck in huge chunks (even after shaking the drink a few times). My drinks will either be oversugared or taste watered down. So happy to see Sharetea open up a tea house in San Leandro! There is one near where I work, but I often don't have time on weekdays to pass by there, so having one in San Leandro is wonderful. My husband and I met up with another Elite Yelper couple who also live in San Leandro for tea after dinner. We all needed to order something that was not caffeinated as it was 7:30 pm. Luckily, there were some choices on the menu that were decaffeinated (marked with a coffee bean). I had my usual Taro Iced Blended with Lychee Jelly and Boba, and the hubby had the Mango Ice Blended Ice Cream. Joyce Z, who incidentally I was meeting for the first time after all this time of being friends on Yelp, ordered the Fresh Milk Taro and her husband, Brandon, ordered the Peach Ice Blended. Everyone was very happy with his/her drink! Our visit turned out be a mini UYE as another East Bay Elite Yelper came in to get tea as we were finishing our drinks. He stopped by our table to say hi and we ended up having a nice conversation! The service was friendly and our drinks were done in a timely manner. It was my first visit, so I asked for a loyalty stamp card. They do have wifi here, so you can bring your computer or iPad here. Parking is plentiful too in this complex. This is the first and only Sharetea I've visited, even though they seem to be sprouting up everywhere nowadays. I'm quite surprised that the milk tea scene has recently found a second wind just when the trend seemed to have died, and Sharetea is definitely a major player in the new wave. Situated in the not very Asian, slightly dilapidated Greenhouse Marketplace in San Leandro, what I originally thought was an odd location is actually quite brilliant. One of the popular Chinese restaurants in the town, Delight Garden, is right next door, and the overall Asian population within a few miles radius is decently substantial. The shop itself is not all that spacious, but is rather cute and charming. It is more akin to a large stand with a full counter front and center, and a few small tables. Because of this, it is not necessarily the best place to chop it up with a large group of buddies or to camp out with your laptop for a few hours, but for a quick pitstop, it definitely fits the bill. Also, unlike many other boba shops that are slow and understaffed, this Sharetea has plenty of employees on duty, even on less busy weeknights, so the wait is never too long. When it comes to the drinks themselves, I have only tried the basic milk tea and honey milk tea, with 50% sweetness, no sugar, and no pearls. While not my absolute favorite in the entire Bay Area, the flavor is certainly more than passable! Also, keep in mind that drinks here seem to be less sweet in general compared to other places, so the half sweet is more like a quarter elsewhere. Would I go out of my way to take a special trip here? Most certainly not. However, since I often pass right by this location (it's right off 880), it makes for a pleasant detour. read more

You know out of the many Shareteas' I've been too, this is still my favorite one. I'll give a quick breakdown on what Shareteas are like, and then why I like this one over all of them so far. Sharetea is a franchise, they have a formula for all their drinks and you get to customize your sweetness level, ice level and whatever toppings you like. Order with what you want and you get your drink in what I believe is the norm average of 5 minutes, even if there is a lot of people. And that explains Sharetea Why I like this one over everyone else is their ice cream option, and their crema doesn't taste like powdery ass. They have ice cream as a topping. They have ice cream as a topping. They have ice cream as a topping. You heard me right, they have ice cream. And as much you may think, ' oh other Sharetea has it' they don't. I've been to many of them and they all say no ice cream, one even ran out of almost every flavor of tea, even tho it was a weekday, and rainy. My favorite here is the Oolong milk tea with ice cream and pudding 0% sweet and less ice. Why you ask? The ice cream sweetens the milk tea once its starts melting and mixing and it makes it so delicious. Oh myy, if I wasn't out of town, I'd probably get one tomorrow. This location is pretty nice. I like the modern wooden tables and the colorful wallpaper that showcases the locations of Sharetea worldwide. It was also pretty clean. Service was great. The staff was very friendly. Sharetea is one of the top places we frequent whenever we crave boba. Recently they've released their bottle series. The most recent release is their Stardust bottles. The Stardust drinks are made with butterfly pea tea which gives these drinks beautiful layers of colors. All of the drinks are refreshing and the lemon juice gives them a brightness. My favorite is the lemon butterfly pea tea with aiyu jelly. Pineapple butterfly pea tea comes in at a very close second. The butterfly pea tea latte is the closest to a milk tea but was a little too milky for my taste. read more

Another wild boba shop has appeared in San Leandro! Not a surprise, but I was surprised that Sharetea decided to be in the same plaza at Bobo drinks though the two are on different boba spectrums if you think about it. I'm not really that into boba, but Sharetea has a better variety of drinks and selection which draws me back. It's better than Quicklys, there's a parking lot, and they take card with no minimum. The prices are a little higher here and there's only one size drink, but I mean that's all the same now. This location is still fairly brand new and majority of their employees are high school students that are still sloppy. I think they're trying hard to get it together, but their systems run into a lot of trouble sometimes so the wait for drink can get a little long. They are good at asking about if you have their stamp cards, and the location is decorated pretty nicely for you to sit and hang out. There's also free wifi at this location. It can get pretty chilly in there though. It works the same way, get in line and order what you want. They have giant pictures of their top 20 drinks if you're new to this or want to try something new. They ask you if you want it hot or cold, how sweet (0-100) and how much ice (0-100) you want in your drink. Keep the receipt which has your number for you to pick up your drinks. I usually stick with the Peach Green Tea because it's bomb and even at 100% sweet its really not that sweet. Their classic Oolong roasted black milk tea goes really smooth and is great for anything who doesn't want to try something new. If you get the WHOLE lemon honey tea, I mean, it's legit an entire lemon and some more juice squeezed into your drink and at 100% sweet- its sour AF. Otherwise, its at a good location next to a Chinese restaurant and a laundry mat. Parking isn't hard to find and the hours are decent. read more

It's not infested with middle school / high school kids "kicking it" there all day long. 2. It's always clean. 3. Boba drinks always made correct and taste great. 4. I come here so much how could I not be a fan! The thing I love the most about the San Leandro ShareTea is the decor. The tables are such a beautiful color and have a clean feel. It took a while for their tea to grow on me, but now I stick to the hot honey milk tea with pudding or high mountain milk tea!! Don't get the fruit creama series. If you're in a rush and there's a line, don't wait. Getting your drink will take even longer. If the store isn't packed, service is moderate. The baristas tend to get backed up rather quickly. The employees are nice, or at least from what I've encountered. Parking is nice, and they have FREE WIFI! Don't come here to work after school gets out or in the evening though. Sure, I could get a regular milk tea but everyone gets those! Instead I opted for a green tea creama and that was heavenly. I grew up in SL and have been waiting for there to be a boba shop to be added to Greenhouse Plaza and now there is! There's also BoBo drinks but both places are on different levels. Drinks can be customized to different sugar and ice levels. Menu is basically the same as the Union City Sharetea. My favorites would be Mango Green Tea Crema, Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea and Sesame Milk Tea. When they first opened, service was definitely slow. I think I waited almost 30 minutes for my drink but now it's more efficient. My order comes out in less than 5 minutes (on a weekday). Be warned that this is pretty much a hangout place for high schoolers so it can get loud and the tables fill up by the night time on weekends. Will continue to come here to get my boba fix as it is near my house :) read more
