It's been scorching hot lately, so my mother and I decided to stop by Sharetea for some refreshing drinks. Inside, there are plenty of seating, a claw machine and board games to keep busy while waiting for orders. As regular customers, we always enjoy coming here, but today's visit was especially memorable. From the moment I walked in, Vivian greeted me with such warmth and positive energy. Hands down, it was some of the best customer service I've ever received! Feeling adventurous, I asked Vivian to surprise me with a mystery drink, and she absolutely went above and beyond! She created an amazing custom of fruit tea blend with popping boba and lychee jelly. The drink was incredibly refreshing, perfectly balanced, and so delicious that I couldn't stop sipping it. I rate it 5/5 A huge thank you to Vivian for making our visit such a great experience. I'll definitely be coming back again! I highly recommend this place for friends and family! read more

Kids drained the cups every time Absolutely loved my favorite boba Milktea place for years! I love the classic oolong Milk tea. Kids love the taro slushie from Sharetea! Perfect treat in the Scripps/Mira (Manila) Mesa area! Location/ambiance: Right off the 15 freeway and tucked in a little shopping center near Angel's Massage. The shop itself? Spacious, bright, and clean with tons of tables, chairs, and even an in-store restroom. Looks newly renovated under new ownership too. Bonus: plenty of parking in the plaza, so that's a plus! Experience: Walked in and realized I might have been the first (or only) guest there. Hey...I beat the crowds for sure! Ann, the superstar employee that day helped me fine-tune my order. I went with the Grapefruit Green Tea which was a winner in my book. I'm a sucker for grapefruit so this was an obvious choice ! I added the topping, lychee jelly (because always YES to lychee jelly), dropped the sweetness to 30%, and kept the ice light. Result? A crisp, citrusy, refreshing drink that was basically summer in a cup. It was what I needed on this warm, humid day! The menu is extensive - fruit teas, milk teas, boba everything. I've never had Sharetea's matcha. It was time for me to try it so I ordered one with fresh milk and at 30% sweet. Vivian did a great job making it. It was not overly sweet, which allowed the matcha flavor to come through nicely. There's was just a subtle sweetness towards the end. It was great. The service she provided was very good, too. Came here for the Yelp elite event. The place has been here for years, located in a not so busy plaza near the Trader Joe's. The place is regular tea shop size with some cute decor, bright and clean. The server is friendly and knowledgeable. I got the passion chess, which is passion fruit green tea with boba and lychee jelly. The tea is good not overpowering by the other flavor, and boba is well cooked and served in a the right temperature (don't like the "warm" boba in my ice cold drink). Got the 50% sweet level but I will go with 25% next time. Overall, nice boba shop to try out when you are in the neighborhood! read more

WOW! Whatever you guys are paying that Charlize girl, DOUBLE IT. The owners did a great job hiring her. I was new to this boba thing and went in not knowing anything, and she fully explained everything to me when I was lost or confused. She had the best customer service, hands down, and it made my day. Omg the boba here is God sent. I'm a bubble tea lover and most places don't impress me. I went on a behalf of Yelp for the Yelp Elite Week. The two people working there were friendly and welcoming which is what I noticed first. I yapped about how I moved to SD from VA. I appreciated the aesthetics and cleanliness. I ordered the classic pearl milk tea. I asked about the sweetness levels and that helped a lot. 50% sweetness with boba is plenty sweetness in my opinion. To each their own. I will be back!! Actually went here for their Re-Grand Opening under new ownership. I actually went here back in 2017 when they had their grand opening cause I knew the owners. But overall, the layout is still the same. Located in Mira Mesa in a plaza where there's a Trader Joe's and a few eateries. The drinks are still good and they added some new ones since the last time I went. There's no food since they don't have a kitchen for cooking. Plenty of seating inside and a few outside too. Parking is good but can be busy. It's a great spot to grab a drink after dinner. read more

I got my free boba drink as a Yelp elite member and ordered my favorite Honey Pearl Black Milk Tea. I also ordered one for my hubby, the slushy Taro Milk Tea with boba. To my surprise, I even received $1 off for the second order. Met the new owner who was really nice and she even offered free juice tasting. I really liked the blueberry tea sample. We placed a big catering order with ShareTea for a friend's baby shower and they were amazing from start to finish. They're under new management now, and the team was super helpful, friendly, and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We ordered regular milk tea and taro milk tea, and each cup came with boba. They also made sure to include plenty of straws for all the drinks, which we really appreciated. I returned to Sharetea after a long break and had high hopes, especially after hearing there was new ownership. Unfortunately, both recent visits were disappointing. On my first visit back, the staff was actively cleaning with very strong bleach while customers were still inside. The smell was overwhelming and gave both my friend and me a headache. I asked if I could open the front door for ventilation. Cleaning with harsh chemicals should happen after closing. It was unsafe for customers and employees. I decided to try again the following week. This time there was a very loud group screaming and yelling. The staff did not address it at all. Then at exactly eight pm we were told to leave because they were operating on holiday hours. There was no signage on the door and no notice on the Sharetea website. This created an unwelcoming and confusing experience. The only positive note is that they expanded their drink menu. Even so, these repeated issues made it clear that service has gone downhill. There are much better boba options just down the street. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

We had the handmade taro with fresh milk at a different location before and it tasted so weird. Almost like unfizzy watered down Coca Cola. But here we decided to try the same drink and it was much better. So I don't know what happened at the other location but it was normal here and not bad. I recently visited Sharetea Boba Mira Mesa and had a pretty average experience overall. The drinks themselves were decent and tasted about what you'd expect from Sharetea, but the customer service could definitely use improvement. The interaction felt rushed and not very welcoming, which took away from the experience. One thing that stood out was that I ordered four drinks and wasn't offered a bag, which made it inconvenient to carry everything out. It's a small touch, but it makes a difference--especially for larger orders. Also, I asked for "crushed ice," and instead of clarifying or suggesting alternatives, there wasn't much effort to help get the texture I was going for. It would've been helpful if staff had explained options or recommended something like an ice-blended drink (which I think was what I was getting back in Stockton) which likely would've been closer to what I wanted. Overall, the drinks were fine, but the lack of attentiveness and communication made the visit feel a bit underwhelming. I'd consider coming back, but mainly for convenience--not the service. read more

I'm so sad...This ShareTea Mira Mesa location used to be my all time favorite because the tea and toppings were ALWAYS consistent. But to my surprise yesterday, my go to drink QQ Happy Family Milk Tea has been renamed to Golden Retriever. Did you guys also change the brand of toppings? The drink tasted completely off, from the tea to every topping. Everything seemed watered down. The flan and grass jelly had no flavor, and the lychee jelly bites definitely didn't taste like lychee anymore. Will give it another try hopefully it was just an off day... read more

We visited on Saturday around 1:45 pm. There was only one young man working at the front, handling 10+ drink orders by himself for at least 20 minutes while we were there. Despite the rush and impatient customers, he did an excellent job making ice-blended drinks quickly (we could hear the blender going nonstop). I met up here with friends & their two kids and the space is family friendly. They even have board games and card decks. Ambiance and vibes are perfect for meet ups, journaling or studying. They added cute seasonal decorations for the Lunar New Year. It's always my go-to for cold drinks. The menu has grown! My favorite is their Mango Green Tea with Lychee jelly or Halo Halo ice-blended. This review is for the bathroom only! Pretty clean, has all the essentials (toilet paper, seat covers, paper towels, hand dryer). Only one single-stall unisex bathroom, code is 2060 at time of writing. The only issue is the door lock! There are two locks on the door, but the top one is a fake! You must lock the bottom lock (ignore the top one)! It's too confusing, and people regularly lock the wrong one and get walked in on. read more

My favorite boba chain, they have quite a selection of drinks, from caffeinated, non caffeinated and slushy type drinks. I'm very simple I love jasmine milk tea with boba, but if I want something super sweet I'll get the taro ice blended with pudding. Today I wasn't feeling any diary in my drink so I order a fruit tea with boba, it was good, it was different something I wouldn't usually get. Okinawa pearl milk tea is like a jasmine/black tea taste with a hint of milk and it isn't too sweet. I am able to tell the employee the level of ice I want and the level of sweetness also for most of the milk teas. They have several topping I can add into the drinks. Try adding ice cream next time you order a milk tea you won't be disappointed. It's always clean here and a nice spot to catch up with a friend over boba. If You Like Ice With a Side of Attitude, This Is the Place for You I don't usually write 1-star reviews unless something truly off happens -- but Sharetea Mira Mesa earned this one the hard way. I came in on a Sunday afternoon for what should've been a simple, chill boba run. I ordered a classic Okinawa milk tea with boba, 50% sugar, no ice. Repeat: no ice. I even double-checked with the cashier, who nodded while looking directly at the screen. Fast forward 10 minutes -- my drink is ready, I grab it, take a sip... and it's basically a glacier in a cup. Like, if there's tea in there, it's hiding under a polar ice cap. I walk back up and very nicely say, "Hey, I think this was supposed to be no ice?" expecting a quick fix. Instead, the girl behind the counter looks at me like I'd just accused her of a crime. She goes, "Umm... we already made it. You should've said something when you ordered." I did. Literally. I said "no ice" twice, out loud, and she nodded. So I remind her of that, and her response? "Well, it's already done. If you want us to remake it, it'll be $1." Are you serious? You make the mistake, and I pay to fix it? So I said, "Really? Even though it was your mistake?" And she just shrugged and said, "It's policy." Then she walked away mid-conversation -- just turned around and walked off like I was invisible. Wild. Also, I kid you not: the boba was crunchy. Like undercooked, tooth-cracking crunchy. The whole thing felt like it had been thrown together by someone who was mad at the cup. Final thoughts: * The tea was diluted beyond recognition. * The boba was inedible. * The staff made a mistake and then gaslit me about it. * $6.50 for a drink I couldn't even finish. There are plenty of better boba places in Mira Mesa -- and trust me, they know how to make a drink without ice and without the attitude. read more
