I've been an avid supporter of sharetea, especially this branch since it's the nearest to my house. I've literally bought drinks here almost everyday ever since last year, not even exaggerating. And it's always at least two drinks since both me and my spouse love the drinks. My Clover app and Postmate app history are real long. However, in recent months the quality of the drinks have deteriorate. Their tea, which used to be very fragrance, barely tasted tea, and the topping creama, which I love to addon to my drinks, also tasted worse. And the amount added is always inconsistent. We were confused, were the quality really have dropped, or we just grew bored of sharetea? So we we went to the other sharetea branches, the one near South Coast Plaza, and the one near UCI. Bought multiple days at both branches, and so I can safely say that it is this branch's that is the issue here. The same exact drink we bought from the other branches tastes great, just like how this Lake Forest's branch used to be. But not anymore. We are very disappointed, since we've been supporting this sharetea here for so long. We'll be buying sharetea drinks at different branches from now on. You lost two customers today. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because I believe you can improve and get the quality back up to standard. Then, I will happily edit my review appropriately. read more

We frequently orders drinks here through DoorDash. It honestly took me a while to figure out what my go to drink would be and I love how everyone in my family even the kids have a drink they like since they have "shakes/smoothies". I've tried their milk teas and they are pretty good, I usually prefer something not too sweet. It's nice that I can adjust sweetness. For milkteas I usually order the classic pearl milk tea. But my go to drink has always been Peach Kiwi and Aiyu Jelly and my fiancé always gets the Mango Passionfruit tea. read more

I was super excited about this location because it's close to home and work but not anymore. Went here today to get my favorite, mango green tea with pudding, but walked away not satisfied. Con - they don't adjust for extra mango flavor; this is the only Sharetea that doesn't do it. I've been to 8 other locations and they had no problem with giving me extra mango syrup. - pudding is bland, no flavor Pro - staff is nice - service is quick I will probably not come back to this location. I don't mind the drive to the South Coast location because they make the best mango green tea. read more

I felt robbed buying drinks from this Sharetea location. I asked for easy ice in one of my drinks and got a cup half filled with ice. I'd hate to see what their "normal" ice level is. Also ordered another drink with NO ice and they topped off 1/3 of the drink with hot water. Other tea shops will top your drinks off with more tea, not water. I don't care if you're going to charge me $5 for a drink. I DO care if you're going to charge me $5 for a cup filled with ice and water. No integrity. One of my favorite places to get boba in the area! The fruit teas are super yummy and you can taste the real fruit in them. I've never been served boba that was anything less than perfectly cooked, I also recommend the aloe jelly's they're super refreshing especially for the summer. read more

My new favorite place to get boba tea. I love Taro with mini boba.. I drank mine too fast, went back in and got a second one. I got the first with ice... They put in too much ice to begin with.. probably why I was able to drink so fast... The second one lasted 5X as long because I had it blended like a smoothie.. but I've been back a few times already!! I think I'm going to try a new milk tea each visit.. but Taro is my fav.. *REVIEW FOR PAYMENT SYSTEM* My boyfriend and I have frequented this Sharetea min 3x/week since it's opening. For the purpose of this review, note I always pay with cash and he always pays with a credit card. Now, unfortunately, it's around 1x/week because of their inconvenient and misleading "cash discount" policy. If you pay with cash, you pay the amount listed on their menu. It is misleading to the customer because there isn't a "discount" on orders payed with cash. Therefore, what should actually be stated is that there is a 4% CHARGE on orders payed with a credit card. My boyfriend lives closer to this location than I do so he would always order drinks on the way over to my house. The 4% charge for credit cards discourages us from coming often. Now he would normally not have an issue with such a charge by an establishment but throughout the current pandemic, this location did not accept cash (only card) for their orders. This made it inconvenient for me since I only pay with cash. (I understand it was for contactless payment for the pandemic so I did not complain.) Now, they began to accept cash again but are charging a fee for credit card users when that was the only form of payment they allowed throughout the pandemic! It doesn't make any sense. Ultimately, we will continue to frequent this location less because of the payment charge implemented. read more

Got the Hawaiian fruit tea with aiyu jelly. The first time it came out WAaaay too sweet so I asked for it with no sugar and they remade it for me. Still really sweet but you could taste the tea this time. I'd need to give it another try to really see if I liked it though. read more

I love this place because they put the most Boba an add-on amount in their drinks compared to other places. One of the main reasons I buy Boba is for the Boba and so when other places do not put as much Boba in it I will drive further in order to get here! First time coming here about a little less than a month ago and I've been coming here since! I think it was the owner who took my order. I didn't know what to get at first so I asked for a recommendation and she said to try the QQ Happy Family and explained that it's like a dessert in a cup since it has pretty much everything in it. She was right and that's what I've been getting since then! My daughter enjoys the mango and passionfruit drink with boba and she didn't react to any of the ingredients (she has a lot of food allergies and is pretty sensitive). Ordered online through their Yelp page at 12:19pm while i was about 6minutes away from the store. The confirmation page said my order will be ready between 1:35pm-1:45pm which was so confusing cause that was way more than hour. Once i got there I asked the cashier if i really had to wait that long for my order because it was only one drink. She mentioned my drink was actually ready and it only says that in case they are super busy and overflowing with orders. Although it wasn't busy at all when i went in. I got their classic pear milk tea with ice cream. They couldn't blend the ice cream in so they put it on top but when i got my drink i couldn't taste or see the ice cream. Their milk tea is good like any regular milk tea, and their boba is soft and chewy. I deducted off a star because of the confusion and i went with a friend, they forgot to add the boba in her drink even though it says on the sticker. Over all good boba drinks. read more

REALLY BAD COSTUMER SERVICE. I've been coming here for 4 days straight now, and came here couple times last week. I order the same drink and ask them to make it less sweet & I've always been satisfied with my drink every time... till now. This time, my drink was way tooooo sweet that my taste buds was tingling after couple of sips. So I decided to drive back after leaving the lot. I walked in, waited in line.. and I kindly asked if they can remake my drink because it was waaaayyy too sweet. they told me they can't remake it because there was nothing wrong with. Uhhh hello, I just told you that my drink is too sweet and that I am not happy with it. And they keep arguing that they made it the way I asked.. I then told them how I've been coming here for 4 days straight, order the same drink every time... the owner of the place asked if I have the receipt from yesterday's purchase so she can check? I told her that I threw it away.. (who the heck asked that kind of questions...) and she said "well then I can't help you" Then she asked me "what do you wanted me to do about.." I asked if I can have my drink remade and make it less sweet... she said I will need to pay for a new one if I wanted it remade... like WTF??? I PAID $6 DOLLARS FOR IT (which is by the way probably the most expensive I've paid for a boba drink they charge $1 for cream which I think is ridiculous) but I pay for it anyways. HONESTLY THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO is remake the damn drink when a costumer is not happy with it.. THE WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EVER! read more

I've never been to a boba place with so many options and settings that are completely customizable. They are very generous with the amount of boba given in each cup and prices are reasonable. To all the people who give 1 star reviews saying that "the people don't know how to work" or "they didn't customize my drink the way the other locations do," just chill. This store has been open for only 2 weeks-ish and considering that, the drinks they make are pretty darn good. Also, if you're upset about their drinks, be my guest and feel free to drive an extra 20-30 minutes away, especially if you live in Lake Forest :) read more

I am a longtime Sharetea customer across locations in OC and have always enjoyed their quality drinks and consistent good service. This location in Lake Forest has been no exception and I have only had positive experiences until tonight. I came with a friend close to closing time (which I understand is frustrating for the baristas, as I have been one myself). However, I was a bit shocked at some rudeness I saw tonight. There was still a decent amount of time before closing and a handful of customers came in still wanting to order. One barista very rudely told them that "when the clock says 9, they are officially closed" and that "she wanted to go home too." As more customers came in, she told them to leave. I understand the tiredness of ending a shift, but the customer service was very poor and not reflective of the quality that Sharetea usually has. read more

I'm so happy that there's finally a delicious boba shop in Lake Forest. I went to their soft opening and it was lit but luckily people were still complying with the social distancing policies which is awesome. I ordered the mango and passion fruit tea with lychee jelly...all I can say was it was freaking BOMB! The sweetness of the drink was perfect and they weren't cheap on the lychee jelly either. I was so looking forward to going to this tea place! We ordered 7 drinks online for pickup. When we picked up our many drinks, one did not have boba. Not sure how that happened via the online ordering. When I brought it to the attention of the gentleman working, he was kind and trying to figure out how to help my son get the drink he wanted. Instead "Dani"(not sure of name) without looking up said "she will have to buy a new one". So I did, waited 15 and got my drink. I attempted to talk with Dani, she said if I had a problem I can talk to the owner "she's my mom, so..." and then walked away. I have been to many boba places and have never walked away feeling irritated. She was unkind. We won't be coming back. This place is awesome to stop by and grab a quick boba drink (they are super fast)! I stopped by on a busy Saturday afternoon and despite having a huge line behind me, the person working the register answered all my questions without making me feel rushed or being short with me. I really appreciate that as a first time customer to Sharetea and I'm glad to say that I plan on returning again based on my experience! I came to order a tea on my lunch break and had a simple request for an extra cup for my boba which I would have paid for both the cup and the boba which I've done before and never had an issue. However the employees embarrassed me and my dad being very rude for such a simple request. They said that corporate doesn't allow them? I would have had more respect if they just say they wouldn't do it. But to place blame onto "corporate" it's very cowardly. Owner and staff were friendly and welcoming! I've been to other Sharetea locations and am so happy to have one in Lake Forest now. The shop is so pretty and clean + the drinks are delicious. You can really tell that the tea and toppings are high quality as well! I've been twice since their opening and have ordered their Classic Pearl Milk Tea and the Honey Green Tea (both with standard ice and sweetness levels). I also picked up a few drinks for family members that had never had Sharetea or even boba before - I ordered the Hawaiian Fruit Tea, another Classic Pearl Milk Tea (includes boba), and a Honey Black Tea with half sweetness. My family really enjoyed trying new tea drinks and loved what I selected for them. The owner who was helping me at the register was so helpful and reminded me that they are able to make adjustments on ice levels, sweetness, and toppings and were very willing to customize the drinks I ordered.
