The açaí bowls are fresh, flavorful and beautifully made and the owner is truly one of the nicest people you'll meet! He's young, fun and genuinely cares about his customers and the quality of everything he serves. Yes! You will have to wait if you order while you're there or they have an app you can use to order ahead of time and have it ready to pickup. I've tried just about everything on the menu and I swear by the fresh juice shots if I even think I'm starting to get sick. The overnight oats are sooo good and filling!! 2nd update - The owner confronted me about this review. It's unfortunate when business owners can't take feedback though and I was honestly shocked that after waiting more than 30 minutes for an order I placed in advance that this guy went on the offensive to ask if I was happy to hurt small businesses. I told him I am not trying to hurt any businesses but reviews are only as good as they are honest. He told me that he's had people wait for an hour without complaining. Sir, WHY is anyone WAITING 60 minutes for smoothie bowls? He said it was because they had 8 orders. I suggested he hire another worker because that's way too long to wait for smoothies and bowls. Update - spoke to the worker who appears to be the owner who said they had a lot of DoorDash orders ahead of me. I saw two customers. Now I think it's better to order through DoorDash because this business seems to prioritize those orders rather than through their native app likely because DoorDash tracks the amount of time it takes for each order to complete and be ready for pickup. At this point I just wanted a refund but he said it was already nearly done so... ----- Açaí bowls and smoothie spots - they're so many that exist but so few that check all the boxes. Sadly, this is not one of them. The good: Fresh ingredients, diverse and healthy combinations for açaí bowls and smoothies The bad: Slowwwww. Even if you order on the app, they'll be behind by 20+ minutes from the stated time for pickup. Literally heard him tell two customers to order on the app next time but what's the point if it takes them 30+ min to complete an app order?. It's 3:56pm. The order was placed at 3:31pm. And as you can see in the photo, the order is still pending (not completed) and I'm sitting here waiting. The ugly: Service. Not sure why the workers are always disgruntled here. The first time it happened I figured it was a random occurrence although I didn't come back for a while. Now I'm pretty sure they don't care about customer service - which is fine for some people but for me, it's a bummer. All in all - order far in advance on DoorDash because the Bowlista app, which works well, doesn't actually seem like it's an app for ordering ahead. Tip after you get your order. We preordered two large bowls. The coffee mocha and almond nut butter were delish as usual and ready on time. We love the new patio tables and crystal accents and cute chakra bracelets that are for sale for only $7. Love the expanded menu with the many avocado toast options. I used to come here all the time, but I travel for work a ton. Finally had a day off to treat myself with my husband. Was ignored when we walked in. The kid behind the counter was on the phone and acted like he couldn't be bothered. After standing there for about 5 minutes, we asked, "hiya! How's it going?" trying to be polite to get his attention. When he finally walked over to us, he told me husband, "I'm on the phone with my boss." He acted like we were an inconvenience to him. We both ordered smalls, got rung up for regulars. The food was delicious. But the customer service was terrible. He remained on the phone the entirety of our visit. This will probably be the last time I visit. A little hospitality or customer service goes a long way. But to be completely ignored and brushed off, just isn't good business. read more

I saw a couple negative reviews on here which I thought should be addressed as someone who has been coming here for the last several years. I'm just a local who likes supporting small business owners especially because my Dad was one. I was driving home from the gym and was craving a smoothie. Jamba Juice is literally right there on the way home. I was on the phone with the wife who has class pass who offered to order me one from Nekter. I declined. I wanted my usual from bowlista. I have been getting the same smoothie since I found the place many years ago. It is always good and you can tell the quality by the taste. I get similar smoothies at the other places but this one just always tastes better and never disappoints. I know when I choose to come here that sometimes it can take a little while. There is usually just the main person working there and sometimes it just gets busy. That's the chance I take and I will wait for it. Do you go to a steak house and expect your steak out within 3 minutes? No, if you are in a rush go to McDonalds. With a majority of restaurants and fast food chains dominating the industry don't forget to support your local places. Me and my Fiancé love Bowlista, and the past few times we've gone, it take's (what I'm assuming Is the owner) a large amount of time to complete orders, which Is completely fine as it seems it's just him. But on our last visit (memorial day) there were new workers that we've never seen before. We ordered online and waited 20 min before arriving (to give time for order to be completed) but when we arrived, they had over 20 orders, I'm assuming still not completed. We waited another 30 min, while the workers were conversing, not completing orders. When we finally gave them an irritated look they took our orders out of a freezer. So we waited over an hour for orders that could've been given to us upon arrival. The food that Bowlista makes is amazing, but having to wait for an order over an hour because workers aren't working is ridiculous. read more

Last year, in Nov 2024, I posted an unfair 1 star review about this establishment that was based solely on logistics and the timing in which it took to receive my order complaints, (not quality of food) and have since removed that review due to the fact that it was unfair to have publicly accused the small business owner of various inadequacies that I've later learned, were completely out of their control and without taking the time to further understand all sides of the situation. Since then, I have re-visited Bowlista multiple times, both personally and with family and friends, and would like to state that the level of customer service received was excellent and well deserving of a 5 star rating and review! Although I never mentioned anything regarding the quality of food and/or cleanliness of this establishment in my initial review, please allow me to formally state that both are outstanding and deserve 5 stars!
