Cute boba shop with some games and crane machines on the side! My sister and I stopped by for a boba and the drink did not disappoint! I got a peach tea which was super refreshing and it was made quickly! We spent about half hour playing the board games and the arcade games and then left. You guys have some of the worst customer service and work ethic I've ever experienced. I just left your store after placing an online order for pickup. When I picked up the drink and lightly shook it, the lid/seal had not been sealed properly, causing the drink to splatter all over my clothes, feet, and my daughter. What made the situation even worse was how your employees handled it. Nobody made any effort to help clean up the mess or assist us. I had to repeatedly ask just to get a towel, and when one was finally brought over, the employee simply handed it to me instead of helping in any way. When I asked why the seal wasn't secured properly, I was told that the machine has been having issues sealing drinks correctly. That is not the customer's problem. If your equipment is malfunctioning, products should not be handed out in that condition. Customers expect their orders to be prepared correctly and safely. More importantly, employees should be trained on how to properly handle situations like this -- by helping the customer, showing concern, and taking accountability. This was an extremely disappointing experience, and based on how this situation was handled, I will not be returning to this location. I would not recommend this store to others. read more

I came in today for the shaved ice as I saw the shaved ice A-board outside a few days ago and it is just too hot lately. I kept my expectation low (realistic?) because I wasn't sure what to expect. My first impression walking in, this place is for teenagers and young adults. You have to walk pass a few tabletop games and electronics games to get to the ordering kiosks. The kiosk is fairly easy to use. You will receive a link to receipt also when the order is ready. I would put its shaved ice in the category of snow cones. I wonder if these mini ice cubes are made in trays due to its perfect square shape. Syrups are not too sweet. But the ice clung together towards the bottom of the cup. What sets this place apart is a nice cafe atmosphere inside! There's a bunch of boardgames you can take to a table and chill with your drink, making this a nice little third space. They also have those trendy claw machines but I'm too cheap to even attempt a toy grab. Drinks are very good and every day there's a special on something, which is fun. Sometimes the wait is a bit long, but it seems like it's because there's only one person working a lot of the time, so makes sense. read more

I've been coming to this boba shop for years, but unfortunately today they've lost a loyal customer. My 8 yr old son ordered a drink with NO ICE. He specifically chose no ice because he doesn't like watery drinks. When he picked up his drink, he didn't tell me that they had ignored his request and made his drink with a ton of ice. He drank some of it because he was thirsty but when I realized that the drink had ice, I told my son we needed to go back to let them know so that they can make him a new drink. The guy at the counter said that they were not going to make him another drink because my son had already drank some of it. I pointed out that the drink had ice even though the label clearly said "no ice" and that an 8 yr old doesn't know about returning a drink that wasn't made to his specifications. The guy at the counter still said no, that he will not be making us a new drink even though it was his mistake not ours. I expressed that we are regulars at this place and that it's a bummer they'll be losing a customer but he didn't seem to care. After lunch, we boba! I think I've only had Presotea once before, so I wasn't very familiar with their menu offerings. However, they have self-serve kiosks so that you can take your time viewing the menu and pick whatever your heart desires. I wanted something fruity, light and cold since I had some numbing noodles next door. I was already hot from lunch, so I needed something to cool me off. I decided to go with the Strawberry Cloud with pudding. It was blended to almost an ice cream consistency and the pudding was a nice complement. It's a great area to hangout with kids or friends because of the amount of board games and interactive things they provide for you. My kids love playing their jenga, Pac-Man arcade games here. Great boba shop with lots of daily deals. They have a summer promotion for BOGO Brown sugar series and a coffee happy hour for BOGO coffee drinks from 10:30am-2:00 pm. They also accept the lake forest yifti gift card so it makes it an even better deal. Inside they offer claw machines at $1 a play and unlimited arcade games. The boba is nice and chewy and the teas are pulled in thru an expresso machine. It does take a little longer to make each drink because of this. Tour De Boba continues. Writing this review at midnight because I drank my tea a little past my window, so I am currently wide awake. Oh man, I feel like the past year a dozen boba shops have opened in our area. I remember having to make the drive to Irvine for my boba fix. These days, I have options and they're all less than a 10 minute drive. Stumbled upon Presotea while having lunch a few doors down. (Long's Noodle House - ANOTHER GEM!) Immediately drawn in by the clean and modern interior. Quite surprised they're all digital... three stations to order & pay from. The interface is very user friendly. Makes ordering very smooth and easy. All their teas are freshly brewed / "pressed". I had the Lychee Milk tea with Lychee jelly. My new favorite drink and I don't usually get milk teas. We also tried the Matcha milk tea sub oat milk. Great flavors. I am a huge fan. Can't wait to try everything. They also have specials. Today was BOGO on select teas like the toffee milk tea & the Vietnamese coffee. Unless marked sold out on the screen. And per usual, quality takes time. But the drinks are worth it. The young woman working here was very nice and went about her work quickly...I mean Tasmanian Devil quick (finally an opportunity for a Warner Bros. cartoon reference)! The little strip mall where this shop is at sometimes tends to get forgotten for residents of lake forest like myself. They have really good teas here and my favorite is their earl grey milk tea with boba. You can simply use the kiosk and chose what you like from their menu with pics incase you need a visual. They also have some drinks on special for the day (which is priced less than the normal price) so that's something worth checking as well. I'm in this plaza quite a bit and had a chance to try Presotea with a friend. Very underwhelming. First, the sign was flipped to "closed", even though they were clearly open. Next, no one greeted us when we came inside. There's a kiosk to place and pay for your order that is in front of a large piece of plexiglass. The whole time, we had zero interaction with whoever was working. I ordered the Japanese Genmaicha and chose no toppings, light ice, and very low sugar. A few minutes later, our drinks were sitting on the counter. The person working there never said anything, never made eye contact - just put our drinks there and left, even after we said thanks. The interior itself was very dark, and there was no music playing. Kinda depressing. The drink itself just tasted like sugar water, with a hint of green tea. The description said it should have tasted a little nutty because of toasted rice - didn't taste that at all. Even though I requested the lowest amount of sugar that wasn't zero, it tasted cloyingly sweet. My friend couldn't finish her drink because of how sweet hers was. We were catching up for about 2 hours, sitting outside on a relatively warm weekend afternoon. I counted maybe 3 people who came in during that time, and one was just dropping off food. I've been twice, the first time during their grand opening I liked but I went again recently and it was just ok. I'm going to call this place Justoktea if I am let down again. Got the Ah Li Shan milk tea during my second trip, which I swore I got during the grand opening, and it looked liked straight milk and boba. And it tasted that way too, except for the tiniest hint of tea. Im a simple girl and would just love to find a brown sugar milk tea equivalent with no powder and fresh milk, so maybe I still haven't found it here yet, bc their options are sort of out of control! I came to this place a couple times and leaving with a delicious drink but today made me think otherwise about coming here ever again. I got a drink and went back to get it remade because it tasted like straight up milk. When I asked to get it re made a group of girls asked me if the guy that made the drink queefed (a fart out of a private part) in the drink which made me lose my appetite and severely uncomfortable and were behind the counter touching everything. I'm glad I checked the previous reviews before ordering because only fresh teas and coffees were honored with the coupon, and the rest of the menu is excluded, which isn't stated on the coupon. Ice and sweetness levels are adjustable. The roasted hojicha was $3.50 and included grass jelly. I ordered less ice and full sweetness, and it tasted yummy, especially for how affordable it was. The grass jelly was a good texture too and not too overpowering in taste. Mask required in the shop. There are a few high top tables to sit and wait or enjoy your drink there. Since they only recently opened, the people who ordered before me, after me, and I myself had a few questions about the menu, but the staff at that time were not the most friendly to make any suggestions or answer helpfully. I ordered the Passion Fruit Pineapple Tea with black pearl and the Taro Milk Tea with no added sugar. The two employees there were very helpful and had only one other customer waiting. Ok so I thought the Taro flavor was delicious, buuuuut, it was a little too rich/creamy for me and I was surprised at how much sweetness there was with having zero added. Perfect amount of ice. Yet another boba tea shop, and yet another addiction of mine. It is almost a MUST for a boba addict to try every new place that pops out. This place isn't a favorite, but certainly a good alternative. Service: 3 out of 5 Thankfully, the place was empty when I went in because the poor girl was working by herself with no help. She looked so busy and occupied preparing online orders when I got there, she barely noticed me. Despite the lack of help, she tried her best to be cordial. I asked her some questions, and she just ignored me, which I completely understand, and just left her alone to focus on making the drinks. Drinks: 4 out of 5 Value: Average, but they have $2 menu items. This boba shop has a large selection of drinks. I was so overwhelmed with all the types of drinks they offer, and it didn't help that they only had one person working. So, I went with the usual drinks I typically get: classic milk tea, brown sugar, and tried their mango créme slush. The quality of their milk teas were good. It didn't have a stale taste at all, and the boba was also good. Not too chewy and not too soft either, just perfect. However, the drinks tend to be on a sweeter side. So, if you're like me and prefer mild sweet, try to opt for 50% to 75%. I tried the 75% sweetness level, and it was still a bit sweet. However, the 75% was perfect for the kids. Their Ceylon Black Milk Tea is similar to a traditional or classic milk tea from any other boba milk tea shops around. Their Brown Sugar Milk Tea is also the same as any of the other shops. I also tried their Mango Créme Slush, and it was really refreshing and tasty! I really liked it, BUT it got too sweet towards the end. So, next time, I will certainly try to get it with less sugar.
