Finally, though, when I saw a sign outside mentioning Cut Loose, one of my favorite brands of clothing, I stopped in. The front of the store holds tops and the back of the store has a rack of jeans -- one brand I like is featured there (NYDJ). The rest of the store has underwear and pajamas. I have found at least one item at this store that I wear a lot -- a pair of NYDJ jeans. I prefer it when no one helps me, when I can look through the store on my own and decide if I like something or not. However, usually either the owner helps me or her associate does. Once I had both helping me when I was trying on bras. They also grabbed a bunch of tops for me to try on and exclaimed how wonderful they all looked on me. I ended up buying a number of tops, plus the bra that day. At one point during my fitting, one of the woman suggested I exercise. I am typically a 34-36 band size- I have been for my entire adult life. I am pregnant at the moment, so I thought I might have changed cup sizes so I went in for a fitting and because I wanted some super comfy bras for the last two months of pregnancy. During my fitting, the sales person placed the measuring tape far lower on my back than it should have been and said I was a band size 42 (!!!!). I really do not know what I was thinking (pregnancy brain?) but I bought one in the size she recommended. This bra is WAY too big in the band and incapable of any kind of support. I measured in a proper shop and my band size is still a 36. If you want a soft I'll-fitting undergarment, this is the place for you. If you need support, go somewhere else.
