This is definitely not a go to location for me. The store is very junky and disorganized. And no it's not because the semi-annual sale is going on. I've been in this store several times and it pretty much looks the same. The customer service sucks. I walked in the store and and an employee just stared at me. I went about browsing and another employee walks by and also doesn't offer any assistance. Only a young lady at the register was actually friendly and asked if anyone had helped me. I told her, "no, not a single soul." I guess she tried to make up for that by being extra nice! I found a few items, but overall it's very limited. Don't expect a typical VS coming in here. My review is based solely on my experience with a sales associate, Jasmine. VS can be overwhelming; pretty things everywhere vying for your attention. Although I'm limited to the fragrances/beauty offerings, it's still overwhelming nonetheless. Add semi annual sale on top and it's just too much to handle. Sales associate, Jasmine, asked if I needed anything. The truth was I didn't need anything, but to get out of the store, lol. I asked her what her top 3 fragrances were and she took me on a mini tour-de-fragrances. She had great energy, smiles and patience with my questions. I sincerely wanted more items but I was irritated with the messiness of the store. Also the young lady didn't even ask me if wanted my items in a bag. My wife loves the brand and the product, hated the experience in this store. The drawers were a wreck and she couldn't find what she was looking for. I asked a lady who was folding and putting items away in the same section if she could help my wife she asked what size and told her what drawer level to look ib then went back to folding. I went in here during a Thursday evening. Despite it being very slow I was ignored by all employees. Two of which stood next to me and complained to each other about a co-worker. The store was a mess. Bra's in the wrong places and drawers were missing size labels or had two that were completely different. It's typically very hit and miss. Sometimes you'll find an awesome associate (Egypt I think is her name) and then other days it's just sucks so bad. They'll so into their restocking or recovering panties that they'll ignore your questions. And I wouldn't typically have any questions if they organize their store well. And even if they do, they'll point at the direction and look at you like why aren't you going there.. Anyways, prepare yourself for self service. And long line at the register. read more

I had to purchase some fresh unmentionables and stopped in here for my basics. The sales associates were beyond helpful-located my sizes and colors for me. The selection is great and this store seems to stock adequately for normal sized folks. I'm a 34B+ and NEVER find a bra at Vickie's on sale but here there were actually some in the bra sale bins! Woo hoo:) Oh-and a good thing I have noticed is that this store almost always has a promo going: free panties, free umbrella or bag. If I had to describe this location in one word, it would be dreadful. This location is closest to my home, so unfortunately I keep coming back. The staff are unfriendly, never offer to help, and multiple times they've blatantly taken another customer in front of me. And it really shouldn't be that serious for me to get all angry and make a scene, so I just let it go and leave comments on their online survey. WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS! I just had the worst experience had the Wheaton Victoria Secrets! I went to return a few things I got as a gift but I wanted the same items! Just a different size. Oh no! That couldn't happen they said I had to return them! But I said I have no gift receipt. There scanning them a few of them are not scanning and the manager yes the manager asked if I stole them. I said excuse me? No I didn't steal them they were a gift! And she goes well this color is not coming up in our system.. I'm like yes cause I make my own panties in my house!!! I said seriously can I please just have a gift card back.. All the items i returned I know cost over $80 together I got $39.00 back.. She said cash or on a gift card.. I said well let me just get cash back cause idk if the gift card will work. You'll see me tomorrow and smiled and the manger goes why are you giving her cash?! And she goes cause it was a option and the manager yes the manager said NEVR give cash to a rude person! The girls are mostly teenagers and are for the most part rude having side conversations. Before they had more bilingual people working and now, it all went down hill. WORST VS STORE IN EXISTENCE. PERHAPS THE WORST STORE EVER. Do shop here if you want waiting in long lines forever because there's only one person at check-out, if you don't want to feel welcomed, if you don't need help finding things, if you wanna be treated condescendingly, and if you wanna be cheated out of store promos. If I could give this place a big fat zero, I would. The associates here seem to not know the promos going on in store and wouldn't honor deals that other VS stores would (despite the fact that it says so online) mainly because their manager doesn't know herself what's going on. The manager is the rudest manager and employee I have ever met. I really do wonder why she chooses to work in retail if she can't keep a calm demeanor and treat her customers with respect. Can you believe I'm the one who has to apologize to her for "being rude" when in fact I was the one who was mistreated? And yes, she did demand an apology before she would even bother processing my transaction (after calling customer relations). Oh and she also yelled at me to "never come back!" Believe me, no one in their right mind would ever go back to such a hostile environment ran by a tyrant who doesn't know how to do her job: instead of going online or calling customer service relations to make sure, she immediately dishonored the promos available. Literally other stores have that very same promo but apparently this store doesn't honor them because they're such a "small store" and oh, "the promo ended yesterday." Yeah right, it says so online then I called customer service relations to be sure and was told it was still going on. I would never go back to this location and it's not just me saying this, other people are too. Just read the reviews on here. A beacon of hope in this store is a sales associate named Ruth. Despite all that back-and-forth fight with her nasty manager with other customers around by the way, she maintained her poise and treated me with respect. She even apologized for the events that transpired. Now, why isn't she the manager?! She exemplifies good characteristics of an exceptional manager. The thing is, if you're in the wrong and you know you are ... just own it and move on. There's no point in fighting with a customer who happens to be right in this instance. They did not have what I was looking for in the store, but they offered to place an order for me and it shipped to my house for free. I just got it today. I usually shop at the Victoria Secret at MontgomeryMall however I just needed an exchange and the one in Wheaton is closer I just need to express how furious I was with customer service I went to the underwear department to look for my exchange the employee asked what I was looking for When I told her she said in the bottom drawer No eye contact very unwelcoming there were panties thrown all over the place even in the drawer they were thrown in and mixed up with all different sizes I also figured sense I'm there I may as Well get more because of the sale I just couldn't bring myself to pick through all that unorganized mess In the process after I made the exchange I discovered that I had misplaced my keys I went back to look for them and couldn't find them I said to the employee excuse me did anyone find any keys she never gave me any eye contact she just said one moment then she proceeded to put a sign in it's holder very unprofessional and rude in the mean time I'm still looking other customers were trying out help me look. I then decided I check with the front desk fortunately they were turned in the employee sees me leaving then she asked did I find them I responded yes. Not shopping from this Victoria Secret location again or recommending any friends to go here. I actually would give a score of ZERO stars if there was an option. Had too many unnecessary problems occur, I actually went here last week with a friend, hoping to have a better experience but it was horrible! (Worst than the first bad encounter.) The first time it was a cashier who kept messing up our payment transaction process even though we were being so patient and SO clear. (We thought ok, it happens, ppl mess up--maybe she's new.) She even had a manager's assistance at one point to start it over & she told her manager we didn't say anything to her. ( she still messed up, In the end we got a tad frustrated, didn't wanna be mean or standing there all day & so we were like forget about it & left.) We waited several months before coming back here, last week stopping by here to shop was disturbing, one of the workers kept harassing me about if I needed her help in an aggressive way (every few mins, she didn't even bother to say a word to some other people around me) and at one point even getting way TOO CLOSE for comfort. I was shopping with someone and even another customer shopping nearby notice the worker's attitude and making us all feel awkward. (Maybe she was assuming I was trying to steal which is very offensive, I wouldn't know why?? I was browsing and shopping just like anyone else, we got stuck w/ her at checkout which was also a nuisance, either way it was the worst shopping experience.) So we're not spending money here any more, there are other places with better, friendly customer services who actually welcome and listen to their shoppers, (and knows when to leave customers alone, we actually wouldn't have mind getting checked up on all the time if some ppl weren't being so rude.) read more

Yesterday, I walked into your Wheaton Mall, Wheaton, MD location in an attempt to purchase some items. Instead of leaving with the "world's best bra" or some of your "sexiest lingerie", I left in tears. See, the thing is, I am 5 months pregnant. My body size is a little different than it was a few short months ago. I have actually only gone up 1 size, from a large to an "EXTRA" large, and still don't need to buy maternity clothes as I currently fit into all of my "normal" clothes. Hence, why I figured I could still purchase items from a store intended to help me feel sexy. But, instead, I found myself on my knees rustling through your underwear, the "LARGES". First of all, if your attempt is to make women feel as though they are in their own bedroom, grabbing undies from their own chest of drawers, you are sadly mistaken. I have never had to get on my knees to search for my underwear, as it is kept in my dresser, and not at the bottom of a broken sales bin. Also, over the years I have noticed that all of the underwear in plain sight, or easy reach, is a small, or medium size, never a large. Body shaming at its finest. I have always known all of this, as I have shopped in your stores for well over a decade. What made this particular visit different though, was when I asked one of your sales associates for help finding an extra-large, she told me, "That size would be in the back of the chest of drawers." And then continued with, "Oh. no, wait they don't even make those underwear in that size." So, here I am 5 months pregnant, on the floor trying to find underwear, and now I'm being told I would have to look in the back, where of course, I can't be seen. Then, I am told, your store doesn't even carry, or even MAKE my size! The sales associate offered a slight solution though, "The only ones in that size are these" as she held up a pair of pretty, pink underwear, following her comment with the phrase, "but, you probably don't want these, these are 'granny panties'". I know what she meant. However, isn't her job to sell your product? Isn't her job to make me feel comfortable enough to spend my hard earned money at this store? I would have purchased those pretty, pink panties, but instead, I left your store immediately. You have officially TRIED to make me feel the exact opposite of "an angel", and for a few moments, I felt poorly about my body after leaving your store. But, you did not succeed in shaming me. Please know that I am taking my complaint to your corporate offices, and to every social media outlet I can find. People need to know that they are beautiful, regardless of what kind of change their bodies have gone through, are currently going through, or will go through in the future. Jolie Seton read more
