Personal cherry pie and coconut ice cream
    Molly L.

We came here to Shampa's Pies on a weekend. Can't believe we haven't been here before since it's just up the road from a few other eateries we like to visit when we are in Pacifica. We ordered the personal cherry pie, the chocolate chip cookie, ice cream, and the pizza croissant. All the items were delicious. The ice cream is from Mitchell's, which is a SF brand and delicious. The mozarella croissant tasted great when we heated it up at home later. The cookie was also pretty good, but was not super fresh. And the pie was pretty good when. We heated it up but not as flaky as we would have liked. Overall, the desserts were great and we would come back.

Everything about Shampa's Pies is delightful. I always preorder items to guarantee. But every time I go in I always find myself grabbing the seasonal Gingersnap cookies or their famous sweet and savory hand-pies. The staff is all family and truly provides the best service in their sweet little corner of Palmetto.

Chocolate pie, key lime pie and pecan pie! Yuuuuuuuuummmmm!

Wowser! I never get down to Pacifica to go to the bakery. I ALWAYS buy their scrumptious mini pies at the Fillmore Jazz Festival. In fact when I go to the Fest, I hunt down Shampa's booth! Hands down their pies are addicting they're sooo good! The key lime pie especially blew me away. Creamy and tart! If you find them at any festival find the booth and buy, buy, buy!

Great little pies! Always fun to snag a variety of flavors. My new go-to instead of birthday cakes and cupcakes for group desserts.

Ask the Community - Shampa's Pies

Do you have anything sugar free in store?

Hi Aisa, we make a no-sugar-added apple pie which you can order. It is a 2-day turnaround and we only make it in the 8" size. We use Swerve sugar replacers. Obviously, the fruit has natural sugar so it is not "sugar free". Thanks for asking!

    Is their outdoor seatings?

I was there a couple months ago and there were 2 benches out front. I just added a photo to their Yelp page so you can see them.

Do you make Lemon Cream pies?

My FIL greatly favors apple pie a la mode (over the usual cake). We got there around 4pm and were surprised to see that there was still a bit of line to enter the shop. Thankfully, the line moved quickly and a friendly and beautiful young lady helped us select an apple crumble pie and a chocolate donut (for my young son who does not like pies). After dinner, we cracked open a tub of Trader Joe's vanilla ice cream to eat with the pie. Needless, to say the pie was fantastic! I had never been to Pacifica before today but after this euphoric experience - you better bet our family will be back to Mazetti's to get more pie and try out their other treats. My little boy also gave the chocolate donut 5/5 stars.

I understand how popular their Derby Cake is, but I don't like supporting a place that seems to think rude service is acceptable just because they're popular and busy. A couple of times when I came in, I was met with eye-rolling and impatient service, and I initially excused it because I figured they were overwhelmed. Most recently, though, I called with a specific question and the person on the phone was again rude and impatient, then hung up on me while I was still speaking. The bakery is good and reasonably priced, but not good enough to keep overlooking poor customer service. Thanks for the memories!

He said it's like bread pudding. A very dense one. There's no weird aftertaste that many sugar free desserts or sodas have. I really couldn't tell it was sugar free! Everyone loved it. I opted for pickup instead of delivery since I was heading that way anyway. Parking is tough. I ended up parking in a red zone at the corner a few houses away and got a little worried but I was able to pick it up within 5 minutes without getting a ticket. Whew! Ordered directly from the website and got a text once the order was ready for pickup. The minute Veronica opened the door, a cloud of baked goods hit my nose and I was in heaven. I really had to refrain myself from eating it as soon as I got back to my car. I had to put it in my trunk to avoid temptation. Picked it up on a Friday and had to hide it from myself until Sunday for Father's Day! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.
