As with any Shake Shack on the planet this one was packed; It is hard to find an hour where the line isn't out the door but honestly it moves quick. It gives you a second to collect your thoughts and take it all the sights and smells. I am a sucker for open kitchens and I love seeing the organized chaos in person. I ordered the double cheeseburger with cherry peppers. The best. The cherry peppers are clutch and add a lot of flavor. The fries always surprise me here. They are probably frozen but they taste delicious. The cheese sauce is bizarre but amazing. Shake shack is a slam dunk 5 star burger spot. No matter where you go it always hits the spot. First timer here! It was good - love my burger and fries and I felt better going here than majority of fast food places. I got the Shake Shack Double and while I normally don't order a double I really enjoyed the size and how delicious it was. Their fat-to-meat ratio was delicious paired with that goey slice of cheese (I preciously watched an episode on bon apetit on how to make this burger so it gave me a greater appreciation for it!) you also cannot bear antibiotic free meat! I highly recommend finishing with a shake/custard. My favorite is the salted caramel - sooooo good. read more

Never been to a Shake Shack before, but when I was walking down the street I could smell the chargrilled meat coming from the building and instantly I was ready to eat. It was like a calling card saying "come on in!" I luckily hit this place around 3 in the afternoon so not really a crowd was there. Service was quick, staff super friendly. I tried the crinkle fries paired with the smoke burger. And it was delightful in every way! It had a decent sized paddy on there with a cherry pepper chopped spread, applewood smoked bacon and their Shake Sauce. And man, it was flavorful enough that I didnt even need to load it up with ketchup. The size was just ok compared to like a five guys burger. But with the fries it was more than enough to fill me up! The meat had great flavor as well. The fries were just meh, they're fries. Had no seasoning but thats ok. Can't wait to return and try some of the other burgers. read more

Loved shake shack since the first time I came last year. I got the regular cheeseburger with lettuce onion pickle and tomato. It is a good burger but it is something you definitely can make at home if you put in the time (although it wouldn't take much time at all). The strawberry mint lemonade is good but personally, lacked a bit of brightness. It tasted like mint but more of the herb. I expected more strawberry flavor with a hint of mint. Good burger place to go when feeling fancier than a mcdonald's, but for the price you can definitely buy the ingredients to make a lot more sandwiches. read more

Having lived in NYC for 6.5 years and then San Francisco for almost 8 years, I experienced the joy of Shake Shack then experienced the loss of it. Hence, whenever I run across a location anywhere, I have to stop by for my favorites! The burgers and fries are delicious and quite filling, but I never seem to have room for a shake. Shake Stack: I'm not normally a huge mushroom fan, but when it's deep fried and filled with gooey cheese, I make an exception! That's what really makes the burger exceptional for me. The bun, meat and cheese are all nice of course. But the extra texture and umami added with that hockey puck of mushroom goodness keeps me coming back. Cheese Fries: Gooey "nacho cheese" is my weakness. The cheap movie theater variety will do the trick, but I can definitely appreciate higher quality as well. It seems that Shake Shack uses lots of real cheese, but still manages to capture the essential gooey texture. While in town speaking at a conference nearby, I found myself looking for something to eat that was pretty quick since it was in between tracks at the conference. I stood in line staring at the menu for a minute or two and then walked up to the woman behind the register and ordered. As soon as I placed my order everyone in front started high-fiving and laughing. Apparently they had a bet on what I would order and somebody got it right. So, we all had a good laugh about it. After all, it was pretty impressive. And then I sat down and waited for about 5-10 minutes for my food. Unlike most fast food places, what I ordered can out fresh. I fell in love with Shake Shack when i visited for the first time in their NYC union square location, mind you that was back in oh who knows, probably like 2010?! I've came here probably 3-4 times already since summer of 2017 if I want to make the trek for lunch. Avoid during lunch time aka 12pm-1pm. After 1pm, it's slightly less crowded and you can probably score a table. I always order the Shack burger and make it a double! If you don't you will be hungry! The smoke shack is also good, there's a special sauce and bacon involved! Also make sure to order the fries, a whole order for yourself though..it is that good! Always so fresh. I also ordered the cheese and bacon fries, I think if you order it to go, or via app they put the cheese and bacon all in separate containers so your fries don't get soggy. I've had the vanilla shake and it was delightful but at $5+ a pop, I'll just settle for a 50/50. I really REALLY like the strawberry mint 50/50. It reminds me of a mojito...a very delicious strawberry one that you can consume during lunch and not go back to work drunk. I do think the prices for the items are overpriced and do wish they would just do combos to save a couple of bucks... a double shack burger will run you a little over $8 and then add a drink and fries and it's going to be $15 for your lunch. Not the cheapest, but my BF and I like to come here once every couple of months just because. They have the shack app in which you can place mobile orders and just pick up when you arrive. They text you now when it's ready. It always looks like it's crazy but it's because right in front of the door is the waiting area and the line is really by the wall.... Just make your way through! When ordering there were two lines but people were cutting over and crossing over without much organization. The menu was on a magnetic sheet with magnets indicating prices, descriptions, and calories. This shake shack is a bit on the smaller side compared to other locations. Not as much sitting room, but a lot of standing room (you need that for the massive line) I come here for lunch sometimes and the shack n stack with bacon is my favorite burger. Our shakes were for some reason warm, the burgers looked as though they were slapped together with what was left in the back, and we only got 1 Dr. pepper, which was ice less and had no syrup in it, which was a result of a "broken soda machine".
