Double ShackBurger
Lindsay W.

I want to start off by saying I'm a bit of a regular (about once a month or so) and the service is always great, everyone is so friendly and orders are prepared quickly! The custard shakes are always my favorite, their flavors and quality of custard is the best. The cheese fries are also always great! However, I was a bit disappointed in the new truffle burger, I'm not sure what happened but this was nothing like the picture on the app. There are a lot of the toppings missing and it was very dry especially for $10.79. The usual shackburger was very dry also. I tried the new mac and cheese balls which I mostly liked but I think they were fried with the onion rings because they tasted like them? Not sure what happened with the burgers, I spent about $54 for everything and was left rather disappointed as was my family.

I had to check out the new boneless BBQ baby back rib sandwich and mac & cheese as soon as I heard about them. I usually leave Shake Shack pretty happy, but this time was a bit of a letdown overall. The highlight for me was definitely the mac & cheese--it was creamy, flavorful, and just really well done. The sandwich, though, didn't quite hit the mark. The sauce was tasty and the overall flavor was good, but the meat was a little dry. To be fair, I did order pickup and got there about 15 minutes after the promised time, so that might've affected it. The strawberry lemonade also missed for me--it had more of a bitter taste than I expected. I'll still be back, but I'll probably stick to my usual burger or chicken next time. Although I'm still thinking about the rib sandwich and if I do order it I'll eat it right away

Visited Shake Shack for lunch after a Costco run in Gilbert at SanTan Village. The atmosphere leaned messy for a fast-food spot, and the service felt pretty indifferent. We tried the Shack Burgers and fries, and honestly, the bun was dense, the cheese tasted overly processed, and I couldn't even tell if there was any sauce on it. The fries were just okay, nothing memorable. I left feeling like I had eaten pure junk, and it sat heavy afterward. Overall, below average and definitely not worth a return visit. Saluti

Let me start with saying the staff is fantastic, the place is neat, clean and inviting inside. Plenty of seats and definately packed when i went, so pretty popular. Our burgers tasted great but they were so small. Like Wendy's value meal burger small, which was disappointing for the price. Next time shake only!!

Burgers are small. It's pricey. Service is always sub-par. Restaurant had dirty tables, making it difficult to dine in, so we sat outside. The hype isn't worth it for me.

Burnt burger. Crappy bread that fell apart

You would think them charging $24 for double meat -no cheese, fries and Lemon aide they would give you quality. Total opposite, their food is crap, my order took about 15 minutes to get and the burger sat under the heat lamp for close to 5 minutes. Threw half away, it was burnt and dried. Will never go back and by seeing their rating I should have stayed away! Also watched the kid handing the food out soak his hand in the table cleaning detergent then touched the food.they need to learn from In-N-Out, clean fresh and quick. Place is worse than McDonald's at a premium price. Update: got sick and threw the meal up in the middle of the night.

Truffle Burger & Garlic Parmesan Fries W/ Truffle Sauce (To Go Order)
Cara T.

Shake Shack started as a small hot dog stand in Madison Square Park NY in 2001. It has grown and expanded into a quick-casual kiosk-style "fast food" restaurant. Was excited to experience this place when I saw they had a "limited time" truffle burger and parmesan garlic fries with truffle sauce offer. Obsessed with truffle anything, so this was a must try! This is a self ordering pick up process. Browse the digital menu and select from the items listed. You are able to add or remove ingredients as well, pick extras and add additional sauces etc. We ordered 4 truffle burgers & 4 parmesan garlic fries (to go). It was super busy the evening my husband went in. Due to that and having to place your own order, it was a longer wait process. The burgers were somewhat small for the price, a little greasy and couldn't really taste that truffle flavor with the combination of the Gruyère cheese. The fries were just average (not a real fan of crinkle). The side of dipping sauce is the same truffle spread on the burger & could make out more of the truffle blend with them. Best tasting thing on the burger was the crispy onions. The patty itself was extremely thin. Currently, there are 377 Shake Shack locations throughout the world, so it's a concept that's really caught on. Note- Their most popular burger is their namesake: ShackBurger Shhh-They also have a Peanut Butter & Bacon SmokeShack. It's a secret menu item that's a sweet and savory combination of peanut butter & bacon. This would be my next choice if we choose to go again. They also offer promotions and coupon deals through their app. So, if you are a member you can get discounts redeemable by entering that code through their kiosk. *Be advised that the check out process may ask or add on a 10% gratuity. This is divided amongst the staff including the kitchen cooks. It's up to you to decide, but remember two things: this is not a full service restaurant and no real guest interactions. However, someone is preparing your meal and it's a little something for their efforts as they don't end up with much anyway with the current tax on tips fee. I would suggest giving at least the 10% option if not more!

What I like about creamistry is that you can basically make any ice cream base vegan. Since they use the liquid nitrogen thing, you can have ice cream that tastes pretty close to the real thing. Two thumbs up. It's a tiny place with like only 5 tables, but it's cool to watch the liquid nitrogen process, especially for little ones who get excited by the excess gas flowing out and making it seem like they have smoke machines on their ice cream machines. Lots of options for flavors and toppings, so you'll find something for everyone here, including those croffles (waffle ice cream, but I have not tried nor have seen anyone else try). It's a bit pricey, but you pay for the experience. I've paid more for a lot more mediocre ice cream (that wasn't vegan) so ultimately I think this is a good place. TLDR; vegans rejoice--we have ice cream!

Scoop, scoop, hooray! I'm the 400th review for this business on Yelp…read more Since trying Handel's at previous Yelp events, I've had on my radar to try at one of their locations. Especially since my boyfriend loves ice cream. Today we made a lunch date when he was visiting town, complete with ice cream to cool us down on this warm July day in Arizona. We opted to eat in my car with air conditioning, though they have bench seating outside. In cooler months, I'm sure that seating is nice to sit at to enjoy your treat. What We Ordered: - Monkey Business scoop in a dipped waffle bowl: My boyfriend throughly enjoyed and said it was very banana forward; which is a plus for him. I personally hate banana, so he had something for once that I didn't take a girlfriend bite out of. - S'mores scoop in a dipped waffle bowl: Very interesting to have the base be graham cracker, but I really enjoyed. Love the little chocolate bits to add a crunch as you eat, though the mini marshmallows have a weird texture to me. Still a solid scoop, and I'll try other flavors when we return. Definitely looking forward to the location opening on Signal Butte, but glad we didn't wait until that opened to try. Delicious and I'm sure I'll visit the new location opening by my house.

First, the location itself is very small and cramped inside, and there isn't any outdoor seating, which made it difficult to enjoy our ice cream. The biggest disappointment here was the customer service. My friend ordered a milkshake for her two toddlers to share and politely asked if the extra half could be poured into a second cup. The employee had to ask the manager, who immediately said no. My friend explained that other Handel's locations have happily done this before, and even offered to pay for the extra cup. The manager still refused and told her she'd have to purchase two separate milkshakes instead. The request wasn't for extra product--just a second cup for two small children to share. What made the experience worse was the manager's attitude. She came across as rude and dismissive rather than trying to help find a reasonable solution. We understand that every location has its own policies, but customer service goes a long way. Unfortunately, between the cramped space and the poor experience with the manager, we won't be returning to this location.

She said it was really tasty, and I have to admit the pretzel cone definitely caught my attention. My daughter went with peanut butter ice cream in a waffle cone. A Nostalgic, Must-Visit Dessert Destination in Old Town Scottsdale…read more Our party of six visited the Sugar Bowl for dessert following a friend's birthday dinner. Upon our arrival, we were accommodated immediately and seated without any delay. The parlor features a wonderful, nostalgic aesthetic reminiscent of the late 1900s. Its menu is remarkably expansive, offering an impressive variety of options that goes well beyond what one might typically expect from a traditional dessert establishment. The service we received was patient and polite. While one of our table's orders was initially overlooked, the staff corrected the mistake instantly as soon as we brought it to our server's attention. As the name implies, the menu leans heavily into decadent, sweet treats; those looking for lighter or tart options like yogurt variations will find limited choices, but the indulgent selections are perfect for traditional dessert lovers. The surrounding neighborhood adds significantly to the appeal, offering an excellent Old Town atmosphere filled with art galleries, historic shops, and artifacts. If you are visiting the nearby Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), enjoying dinner in the area, or simply taking an evening walk, I highly recommend stopping by the Sugar Bowl for its unique historical charm and experience.
