I saw that they had a BOGO deal for their korean items so I had to try! K shack bbq burger: it did not taste korean at all because the beef flavor is very strong. The sauce didnt taste korean, the crispy onions were okay, but I love scallions so I wished there was an option to add more. K shack fried chicken sandwich: this sandwich was MUCH better than the burger in my opinion! Korean fried chicken is very famous, and I felt like this was basically korean fried chicken in the middle of two slices of bread. I loved the scallions and for the kimchi slaw.. I couldn't really taste it. If you like this sandwich, try out Furai Chicken which is an actual korean fried chicken restaurant. The chicken patty was super crispy and if I lived somewhere with a Shake Shack but was craving korean fried chicken, this would totally satisfy my craving! K shack fried chicken bites: I got these because I loved the chicken patty in the k shack fried chicken sandwich so much but they were a little disappointing in bite size. They were not crunchy like the sandwich patty. But the sauce flavor is the same and if I was somewhere with no real korean fried chicken around me, I would eat this again, but it wouldn't fully hit the spot.

Well four stars for quality beef. A good shake. Great fries and an interesting ranch dressing. Also a clean open ambiance. And I like they had sanitary wipes at the bussing station. Service by Jessica was friendly and patient. Burger sauce was just okay skeptical on the cheese whiz they put on loaded fries. The potato bun is good but only large enough for a patty cheese sauce and pickles. Once you add lettuce onion the bun can't handle the load and is difficult to eat. A little over hyped for me not what I would call a signature burger

Glad to have 1 of these closer to me now. Only bad thing is parking since it's next to the gym. I was just saying I wouldn't come just to eat because of parking. But if I'm here after working out, I'll walk over. It's burgers and fries & shakes. It's ok. We have so many so just take your pick. If you order on the app, you get better prices on some items then ordering in the store. SYOY!

Just heard about the k-shack menu so of course I had to try it. Didn't realize the had some of the burgers from past years but I say better late than never. Here's all that we tried: 1. K-Shack BBQ burger: first off the burgers were so well made. Each ingredient was perfectly prepped and layered as if it was being used for an advertisement photo. Felt like I was having a gourmet burger. The burger was made with their angus beef quarter pounder patty (actually got a double patty), layered with American cheese, crispy (and I mean fresh out of the heat oil crunchy) sweet onions, fresh scallions, and more an bbq sauces. So delicious 2. K-Shack fried chicken sandwich: served on their potato bun with whole chicken breast sauces with a sweet and spicy Gochujang sauce. This is also topped with fresh scallions and kimchi slaw (actually bite into kimchee right in the burger which was the best part). It says they make it with Choi's kimchee. Haven't heard of the brand but now have to head to hmart to see if they carry it. Really phenomenal flavor. Must try. 3. K-Shack fried chicken bites: chicken bites (white meat) with Gochujang sauce. Pretty good. But actually prefer the k-shack friend chicken sandwich but similar flavoring without the bun and kimchi slaw. 4. K-Shack spicy caramel shake: this is apparently new. Essentially a vanilla shake with spicy sweet Gochujang caramel sauce and topped with Gochujang caramel drizzle. It tastes like your vanilla caramel shake but at the end you can taste the spicy kick (like a jalapeño kick). Very interesting flavor in the best way possible. A must try. Forgot about the k-shack spicy bbq fries. Guess will have to try it next week. Heard this was a limited time menu so go out and try it if you haven't already. Don't miss it!

I usually enjoy Shake Shack, which is why this experience was disappointing. The burgers I picked up did not look like the ones shown in the pictures. The patties were very dry and seemed overcooked. Also, when my order was ready for pickup, the burgers were already cool instead of hot and fresh. For the price, I expected better quality and freshness. I hope the team can improve the food preparation and quality control. I'd appreciate someone from Shake Shack reaching out to make this right.

Finally, I was able to check out all the hype about...SHAKE SHACK. My friends have been raving about how good their burgers and shakes are. Here's my take on the hype. Yes, I agree with them. And, yes...they do make great burgers and shakes. My sister and I shared a meal because we weren't as hungry. We had the... FRENCH ONION SOUP BURGER: it was very delicious and spot on! CHEESY FRIES: just your typical fries with melted cheese BANANA PUDDING SHAKE: WOW, that was pretty yummy. Very unique flavor. So, if you are looking for a great burger and great shake, go check out SHAKE SHACK. You'll thank me for that!

It often happens that when a chain expands too aggressively, they lose their perceived value and at the same time, quality control goes downhill. Years ago, when I was in New York, I went out of my way just so that I can try a Shake Shack burger. Now that they are everywhere - there are two within a short drive from where I am in Irvine - they are no longer as valuable. I certainly won't go out of my way to eat there anymore. Moreover, the quality is nowhere near what it once was. The last two times I ate there, the burger was over-smashed, too thin, burnt, and dry. Fries were also overcooked. On the plus side, service was good. All the employees were friendly and helpful. There are also plenty of self-served kiosks, so you don't have to stand in line.

Very popular and numerous hamburger restaurants with self-service touchscreens that are intuitive and convenient and several servers helping to deliver the food and beverage to your desk while the kitchen prepares the most freshly made hamburgers of various meat, chicken and French Onion Soup and cheese and other condiments. We ordered regular Shake Shack Hamburgers and French Onion Soup double cheeseburgers and a large fries. The burgers were skimpy and the condiments were sparse. The meats were thin, tiny and temperatures just little too tepid. The pricey Double Cheeseburger with French Onion Soup was way too sweet. We asked for thick, fresh onions and got thin slices of onion that were not satisfying. The front counter had only ketchup. Overall solid three stars for the service and location, clean environment but the prices and taste were not up to the expectations nor the standards of others like In& Out Burgers next door !

*Hot tip!* If you have the Shake Shack app, you have until September 12 to place three orders^ online or in the app to score a free burger/sandwich. I was honestly so torn between 4 and 5 stars for this Shake Shack in Irvine/Tustin. I'm sure I would have had a much different experience had I came in 20 minutes later, so I'll happily round up to 5 even though there were a few missteps with this location. Keep on reading. I needed just one more online order to qualify for the free burger/sandwich on my account, and I wanted to place that order at this location when I was heading out of town for the Labor Day weekend. It's in The Market Place on the southern corner of Jamboree and El Camino Real, right off the 5 freeway. Amazon Fresh is the anchor store here, but Shake Shack is on the opposite corner, adjacent to the intersection. It shares a building with Corner Bakery Cafe, both of which opened pretty recently. I was exploring The Market Place and placed my order in the Shake Shack app while I was in Amazon Fresh. The email receipt said both Tustin and Irvine, which confused me a little, so I asked the female employee at the front who immediately greeted me. She confirmed this as the correct location and caught on to the fact that I was here for pickup. I loved how helpful she was from the getgo, and when I told her my name, she mentioned they were still working on my order, which was no surprise since I hadn't even gotten the text saying it was ready. I did ask her how much longer I'd have to wait, but her co-worker who overheard me said it'd only be a couple minutes more, which was accurate! The helpful service didn't end there. As I was waiting for my order, I grabbed a water cup and was about to fill it with their triple filtered water, but she took it a step further and offered ice! It was real hot outside, so I was impressed with her thoughtfulness and thinking ahead! Unfortunately, one misstep with this location is the lack of summer BBQ burgers despite their recent addition to their menu. I would have loved to try one, but instead, I settled for the Shack Stack with an extra side of Shack Sauce, something I'd recommend doing in the app as it doesn't incur an upcharge. I also went with Cheese Fries and the Shack Hack of a $1 Fountain Soda, any size. For the Cheese Fries, you could opt to have the cheese on the side, but I chose on top. My order was placed in a paper takeout bag with a tray inside and a few grease spots on the outside of the bag. The tray held my Shack Stack in a wrapper as well as the Cheese Fries in a separate box with a wooden utensil protruding out of a cutout on the side of the box. My Large Coke Zero came on the side, but a straw was included in my bag. The Shack Stack gets you the best of both worlds with a beef *and* a mushroom patty, but does come at the hefty price of $13.99. This is the burger I'd recommend getting for your free burger/sandwich should you qualify for one. Both patties worked well together, and it felt like the mushroom patty was comparable to the cheese that's nestled in between the two patties. It's quite big, but went well with the extra Shack Sauce I requested on the side. The Shack Sauce is pretty coagulated, so you can't really pour it onto the burger. Instead, I used the wooten utensil from the Cheese Fries to scoop out the Shack Sauce onto my Shack Stack. The Shack Sauce could have used more flavor, but there was already plenty enough in the Shack Stack itself. I was impressed with the amount of cheese that topped my fries. I felt like I got more cheese than if I had ordered on the side. The cheese, however, wasn't as flavorful as I'd like, but what they made up for in quality, they more than made up for in quantity. Maybe I should have added bacon, but I felt what I had ordered would already suffice as a meal. Getting back on the 5 was a bit of a pain, however. I exited on Jamboree and tried to U turn only to realize I couldn't U turn. I tried to U turn at the next intersection, but couldn't U turn there either. I think a better idea would be to exit on El Camino Real, turn into the Regal Edwards parking lot, circle said lot, and exit at the same place you entered, making a right, and then a left back on Jamboree. As I alluded to earlier, service was good, even as the restaurant got busier after my arrival. I appreciated the diligence of each team member, especially the first girl I interacted with, but she didn't exhibit even one smile, which I felt was a missed opportunity at customer appreciation. Nevertheless, she was very welcoming to me and the reason I'm willing to bestow the coveted 5th star on this Shake Shack! Most other times, I would have given 4. ^ The "Shack Hack" of a $1 Fountain Soda would count as a valid order for the *hot tip* promo, so in a sense, you can basically get a sandwich/burger at Shake Shack for just $3 + tax. You're welcome! :)

I ordered grilled cheese and chicken sandwich but it arrived burnt and was completely inedible. I was disappointed because I couldn't even eat it, and it felt like the food was not prepared with care. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to food quality. Never go again

Ok In-n-Out lovers..plz don't come at me, but dare I say, I like Shake Shack more. Lol I first had a taste of Shake Shack in Arizona on our fam bam road trips and I've been hooked ever since. Call it love at first bite! Fast forward to 2025 and they now have 2 locations in my vicinity of OC/Cali and I'm sooo STOKED (can't you tell from my gang of burger pics?), you don't even know. My go-to has been the OG ShackBurger with raw, sliced onions. There is just something about their toasted potato bun that hit this Cali girl differently than In-n-Out. It's sooo yums. I love their fresh, made-to-order 100% Angus beef ~ quarter pound patty and that melted American cheese over fresh lettuce & tomato. Mmm..my mouth is legit watering as I write this review. While I ALWAYS order a side of fries with my burger, depending on my mood and hunger level, I sometimes feel fancy and get cheese fries to round out my meal. I just love those crispy crinkle cut fries that have that satisfying soft center. To truly complete my meal, I love their refreshing strawberry lemonade on a hot day. You can really taste the real strawberry puree, perfectly marrying their house-made lemonade. It quenches my thirst every time. While yes, your Shack Shake meal will NEVER compare to your In-n-Out combo prices, however, it's still worth it now and then ~ esp. when I have that fast-food craving, but still want fresh quality ingredients. My only qualm about this 2nd OC ~ Tustin Market Place location is that it's a bit on the smaller side, so prepare yourself should you want to wait inside for your food and/or wait for the limited indoor/outdoor seating area. I really have to scout and reserve seating quickly once other dining patrons leave. Otherwise, great & efficient turn-around service. Hands down, 100% RxFoodie recommended fo' sure ~ you need to give it a try yourself, before you knock it! You won't be disappointed.

ShackBurger, Avocado Bacon Burger, Cheese Fries, mango lemonade and cherry limeade

Always a treat with the family at Shake Shack. I prefer to dine in, especially when we order the cheese fries (so good), so the food is served at the right temperature. I enjoy the Shack Burger (single patty), and my kids usually like the avocado bacon chicken or burger or hot dogs. This location at The Market Place is next to Corner Bakery. The service is excellent. Once you place your dine-in order and given a table number, the staff will bring the food out to your table. The sweet staff even asked if we needed napkins and then stopped by again later to check on us and let us know that we can get free refills on our lemonade / limeade. Happy kids, happy mom. :)

The flavors have been consistent with their other locations - unique, flavorful and creamy. I really love that their flavors are from around the world, which makes them different from other ice cream shops that I'm aware of. I also LOVE their ube waffle cones! The only thing that I'm actually devastated and disappointed about is that they use to offer split scoops, which was 2 half scoops of different flavors. This was my GO TO order because I can enjoy 2 of my favorite flavors without being overwhelmed with the amount. This also made them different from other ice cream shops. Now they only offer single, double, and sampling trio. How can I finish 2 FULL scoops on my own? Unfortunately this is why I can't give full 5 stars.

However, I was still more than happy to check them out when my gf suggested coming here. All of their hype and praise was certainly a big reason why, as well as me wanting to see what Persian ice cream tastes like, but, quite simply, how could I ever say "no" to trying a new ice cream shop? Especially to cap off such a warm evening out! While I can't say how this location compares to their spot in LA, I liked how low-key and unassuming this place felt. Past the counter/register, there's a small amount of seating to the back, but there's also a bunch of seats and tables right out in front. More importantly, though, their display case of ice cream is chock full of enticing options. Inspired by ingredients and flavors from around the world, Saffron Rose's roster of flavors is quite diverse. What's more, from their Mango and French Espresso to their Saffron & Pistachio and Passionfruit, they all looked equal parts unique and delicious! -- FRENCH ESPRESSO While it may not have been quite as amazing as I had hoped, this was still pretty good. Although I wish the taste of the espresso had been more robust, it still had a decent coffee flavor to it that I really liked. -- PASSIONFRUIT I got this mostly because I wanted something a bit tart and citric to balance the French Espresso and it did the trick. The passionfruit was refreshing and I liked that the taste of it wasn't overly acidic. -- SAFFRON WITH PISTACHIO Presumably their namesake flavor? Either way, this may not have been my favorite flavor, but it wasn't bad. The taste of saffron was decently strong and I liked how the pistachios in this added some texture. -- MANGO Of all of the flavors I've tried, this is easily my favorite. Not only did it feel rather refreshing (especially on such a warm night), but it also had a surprisingly strong taste of mango to it. -- POMEGRANATE Unfortunately, this was pretty disappointing. Much like when I got the passionfruit flavor, I wanted something fruity and light to offset the pistachio, but this was a little bit sharp and acidic for my liking. -- GREEN PISTACHIO I love pistachios, so I had some high hopes for this one, but it missed the mark for me. For whatever reason, the taste of pistachios didn't come across as well as it did with the other flavors and the chunks of pistachios felt surprisingly soft. -- PINK ROSE My least favorite of the bunch, but, to be fair, I'm also just not a fan of floral flavors and the rose water showed up most prominently in this one. Even though the first couple of bites were okay, the taste of the rose was too much for me after that. Regardless of the flavor, one thing I noticed about Saffron Rose's ice cream is that they're somewhat similar to gelato, but with a slightly gummier texture to them. What's more, all of the ice cream is made with rose water, which, as mentioned, I'm not a huge fan of, though it was pretty subtle in all of them except the Pink Rose. Also, I didn't care for the wafers they give you either. While I appreciate that they can complement the ice cream well (they resembled those classic cake ice cream cones), the wafers had more of a soft, semi-stale texture rather than a crisp one (unless that's they way they're supposed to be). All and all, considering how they're one of the only Persian ice cream joints around, Saffron Rose is by no means bad in any way. At the very least, their ice cream is certainly unique and even better than some of the gelatos I've had. However, as someone who prefers a more classic, creamy scoop of ice cream, I think Saffron Rose is just okay. My gf, on the other hand, is definitely a fan, so I'm sure more scoops of their Mango and French Espresso will be in my future the next time we visit when we're back in town again! THREE AND A HALF STARS rounded down.
