Coffee was almost cold when I got it. So I asked them for another cup. Happily they did. Took a while so I asked for a cold brew in the fridge and they said sure. WOW FACTOR? No. Nothing special, although the server (Hope?) was very helpful and friendly. NOT HAVE AGAIN: A half chocolate, half vanilla, "no choice" "see server" did not result in what I requested: half chocolate, half vanilla without any stirring. I just want the custard. Love that they have Veggie Shack burger and and Shroom burger, and my favorite... tots! They also have gluten free buns. I don't have celiac I just choose GF, but I can't say if the burger contains gluten. I dis get the Veggie Shack without cheese on a GF bun. Was pretty good, the bun was dry and tore up a little after I started eating, but I think that is the nature of GF. The pattie is made with carrots mushrooms and quinoa topped with crispy onions, pickles and Shacksauce. (Comes with cheese as well). Sandwich was a little dry on the whole but again were talking veggie patty and GF bun so maybe just ask for Xtra Shacksauce? Tots were tots! Hard to go wrong. Everything was presented neatly and they state no added hormones and no antibiotics so not sure to what extent that is. Shake shack has a really good vegetarian burger. The flavor was surprisingly good for a plant based burger and well seasoned. The shake sauce really makes this sandwich. The only drawback was the wait time. It took almost 20 minutes to get my order and I had to board a plane. Thankfully, I made it to my gate just before they boarded. I look forward to visiting the locations outside the airport. read more

This place is the number 1 burger chain in the city of Indianapolis! It's not even close. Whatever you do, do not go to 5 guys if you are near a shake shack! It is so superior that it's not even funny. The burger actually stays together and the ingredients seem far superior. They are chopped into finer bits when helps the sandwich stay together instead of slipping into a landslide of burger ingredients. read more

This was near my gate and a quick burger after 8 pathetic wings at the Indiana Pacers Club hit the spot. The price here didn't seem too much higher than what a typical Shake Shack has to offer. The quality was on par with other Shake Shacks too, so they didn't suffer from the lower expectations at an airport location. There are a bunch of tables at which to eat in the concourse and are open to anyone dining. It was quick and convenient. My soda pop bottle was warm though. With limited choices at the airport, this provided a good sandwich, even later into the evening. I'd go here again. read more

Not much of a review to do since it is just a hamburger place in an airport. But, I have ordered here twice on recent trips and the experience is the same. Lots of people milling around behind the counter, lots of people waiting for their orders, but seemingly nothing happening. Each time I walk right up and order with no line, then stand around with 8 or so other people waiting. This is especially true for the shakes which arrive 5 or 10 minutes after the food. The food is typical good Shake Shack. I just don't understand the speed issues. So, if you have time, one of the few viable choices in the Indy airport. If you don't have time, don't try. read more

I visited the Shake Shack at the Indianapolis International Airport on 3/27 at 8pm and was helped by a very unprofessional young woman who appeared to be dazed & confused, if you catch my drift. She and the entire staff kept stating, loudly, how they couldn't wait to get off and "turn up". I'm not sure what time they were set to close, but it appeared that they'd already begun cleaning up for the night. They began "86ing" things from the menu in order to deter customers from ordering. I heard them discussing it. I ordered the single with bacon and it was just okay. I love a good smash-burger, but this one was a bit overcooked and dry. Thank goodness for the Fanta to wash it all down. Two other members of my family that I was traveling with reported having the same experience with the staff. The food here was excellent but it lacks in other areas. Their service is horrible only about three out of 10 employees were working. Employees carrying food out while customer's were backing up waiting for food. I was third in line took me over 20 minutes to get my food. The employees were also rude and didn't act like they wanted to be there. The atmosphere well it's the airport so it loud and tight. read more

Everything was great until my order came out wrong. The cashier was very friendly. He even warned me that the water I grabbed was carbonated. Just in case I didn't want carbonated water. The food was fresh the restaurant was clean. But they prepared my order incorrectly. Otherwise I would give them five stars. read more

I ordered the Chicken Shack sandwich add cheese, no herb mayo (allergic to garlic and that's often a hidden source). They added the mayo. Sandwich was ok. Chicken cooked thoroughly but it did taste like the oil. Not much other taste. Almost glad they added the mayo as it really would have been tasteless. Fries were standard frozen crinkle cut fries. Not bad, nothing special. Food was prepared relatively quickly. Ketchup had sticky corn syrup residue all over it so now my fingers are sticky. read more

I stopped here while awaiting my flight. It was early ish, 10:45 am, but they were open. The food was decent. It was a good hotdog and the cheese for the fries were good. Service was good. However I was advised they don't have "chocolate shakes" that early, only vanilla. That was a bummer for sure. In hindsight, I wish I'd gone elsewhere but glad to have tried it. read more

The food ordered was two burgers, two small fries, a Diet Coke, and a strawberry milk shake all for a ridiculous price of $40. The burgers were a shocking size so small a kid would complain, the milk shake lacked strawberry taste and tasted as if someone made it with the cheapest ice cream possible, the fries were marginal at best. this was definitely not worth the price nor taste. The best thing that I ate though were the two side dishes, the Robichon potatoes were so smooth and creamy and delicious and I usually don't like creamy potatoes I usually like lumpy potatoes and the sticky coconut rice I will be eating for lunch today as I had a little bit of it leftover. We both ordered the Mille Fuille for dessert and we both agreed that that dessert was a miss. It was way too dry. Next time we will try Cookie n Milk. We will stop in here again and try different dishes next time.

It's one of the best breakfasts I've had in the last few years. Just spot on! A touch of tobasco perfectly accentuated the sausage gravy over homemade biscuits. A perfectly cooked sunny side up egg topped it off. My wife had Eggs Benedict with heirloom tomato slices swapped for the English muffin. It looked amazing. One tip... coffee is $5, but so is cold brew or a cappuccino. They may not be bottomless, but we both upgraded from the drip coffee for the same price.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but what I got definitely exceeded it. The portion is quite large, so next time I'll plan to share it with the table so we can try even more dishes. It comes with three large biscuits and a sunny-side-up egg. You can get extra gravy for an additional $2.50, but what they serve is already pretty generous. I ordered this to-go and really appreciate when the takeout food is carefully packaged as if it were being served at the table. It's the little things!
