    Carnivore Special
    George D.

The high quality food you expect with the convenience of an airport location. The staff is what you expect in an airport fast food place. Not unfriendly but.. you know. Just sort of there Go a Carnivore burger. 4 patties, cheese, bacon and guac. About $20. See pic. Put in an open paper dish and placed in the bag. I planned to put in my backpack and bring on the plane but when I saw how packed, I decided to eat first. Good choice.

Tots and the egg white lite breakfast sandwich.

The tater tots were hot and crispy. A good portion was given. The egg white lite sandwich was tasty, though the bun was a bit soggy from the moisture on the wrap and steam. There was plenty of arugula on it. You take your own order on the pad but food was served quickly with a smile and a "have a nice day". The seating was in the middle of three restaurants by gate C6 DFW. Time of very noisy to calm.

Shake Shack is one of my daughter's favorite places to eat. This was my first visit to one as I waited for connecting flight in Dallas. The Shake Shack in Terminal C is in a food court near gate C6. There were about 8 people waiting for food when I walked up. The clerk was all business and was a little frustrated that I didn't know the Shack's lingo. I got a single Shack burger and fries. Food took about 15 minutes to prep. The burgers are old school flat well-0done burgers with a slice of good old yellow American cheese. There is a signature sauce that tastes like thousand island. My burger was tasty. The crinkle cut fries were crispy and ok either way maybe a tad too much salt. There is a set of customer dedicated tables with a tv monitor playing hockey or something. I sat there and ate. For airport food, Shake Shack is certainly affordable. Next time I'd skip the fries.

Terminal C6 location. From my experience airport service is always worse than the location outside. Burger taste the same but the way they make it in DFW looks like a mess. Maybe they are trying to get orders ready for travelers so they don't have time to build it properly. Service is pretty quick. It is late at night so there weren't a lot of customers. Would I go back again, maybe. I might get Smashburger next time if I want a burger, maybe they will be cheaper and have better quality

Burnt burger, tiny portion of fries, bun looked like it was for a slider. Really bad!

Worst Shake Shack ever, I wish I'd have read the reviews before. Burger was overcooked, hard and tasted like burnt something, small portion of fries, they were out of napkins, just not the usual SS standard.

    Bacon Avocado Burger and fries

Not bad, but not as good as other airport Shake Shacks I've visited. The team was working hard, but they didn't take an order for 10 minutes. I think they were trying to catch up on a wave. Once I ordered it was only a few minutes till the burger was done. They called my name, but they didn't have my fries ready. The bacon avocado burger was alright... the avocado was past its prime, so that detracted from the flavor a little. Decent service, decent food

I wax looking for a quick bite to eat before catching my flight. Ordered the SmokeShack burger. It was pretty good, had a single patty, bacon, cheese, and peppers that gave it a nice spicy touch. Fries had been sitting under a heat lamp a little too long but were still crispy. No drink and the cost was still $15.52 but hey, I am inside the airport so I get it. Service was friendly but slow. There is a shared food court where you can eat. It was a good (not great) quick lunch.

Really nice service. My food came fast & correctly. They did throw my fries in the bag but they were hot and fresh and I was starving so whatever! Lol I like how they have a whole sitting area just for them instead of with the other food court area. I also like how I got the cheese on the side instead of on the fries, I feel like it's way more cheese that way.

Good and service and was awesome. In and out very quickly. Courteous customer service

Yesterday at the airport I made sure to order it custom and it came out great. I would choose Whataburger over Burger King any day. - Whataburger at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport…read more After finding very limited breakfast options at the airport lounge, I walked over to Whataburger because I had missed the chance to try it during my previous trip to Texas. Coming from California, I have access to plenty of good burgers, but Whataburger had been talked up enough that I was curious to finally give it a try. The service was not particularly welcoming. I stood at the counter looking at the menu and waited for the employee to acknowledge me or ask whether I was ready to order. Instead, she looked away and did not say anything. When I stepped closer to the counter, she finally asked, "Do you want something?" Since it was around 6:00 a.m., I asked whether they were only serving breakfast or if the regular menu was also available. She told me they were serving everything, so I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. My food came out in about 10 minutes. The burger and fries were fine, but nothing about them really stood out to me. The service was also fairly middle-of-the-road overall--neither especially good nor terrible. One frustrating issue was the table. It looked normal, but it was extremely wobbly. A small movement caused my drink to tip over and spill, and I had to get a refill. Based on how unstable the table was, it seems unlikely that I was the first customer to encounter the problem. Overall, Whataburger was okay. I would not go out of my way or find myself craving it, but if someone handed me one of their burgers, I would still eat it.

The chicken pho, however does not require much. The stock, noodles and broth were already pre-made. I waited about 20 minutes and asked him what was going on. He said sorry let me get right on it. He then proceeds to scald himself on the hot broth. Clearly lacking prioritization and multi-tasking skills. I cant blame him entirely though. This is a management problem and shortly after 3 more employees showed up to help out. I definitely did not tip and the guy was adjusting the tip jar trying to guilt trip me into throwing a few dollars in for his mediocre service. Uncle roger would not approve of this place for pho. They used glass noodles and only provided lime slices as garnish. Nothing else: hoisin, sriacha, bean sprouts, a little jalapeño didn't kill anyone. For $17 after tax in dfw, it's a sad day here.

We always get the [Jumbo] Hot dog, which is not as big as you'd expect, but it's tasty. We enjoyed eating the Jumbo Chili Cheese Dog, Char-Grilled Maxwell Street Polish Sausage, and the Char-Grilled Polish Sausage. These are all the hot dogs we typically order. We're not fans of the Italian Beef Sandwich nor the Big Beef Sandwich; they typically have a lot of gravy in them. The Char-Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich wasn't worth it. If you side the gravy and don't add peppers (an extra charge), you'd literally just get the bread and the sausage. The fries and onion rings are usually mediocre, but it's good served as a meal. On the other hand, the staff has always been kind, both in-house and drive-thru. The place has never been too crowded.

It was one of those places you just kept going back to because the food was consistently great and it felt like a true Chicago institution. So when Portillo's finally came to Texas, I was thrilled. Let's start with the star of the show...the Italian Beef with hot peppers. It's incredible. Order it dipped and you will be in food heaven. And if you really want the ultimate Chicago move, make it a combo by adding the Maxwell Street sausage. That combination is absolute perfection. Messy, bold, and ridiculously good. Of course, the Chicago-style hot dogs are outstanding too. Just make sure you order it the right way and "drag it through the garden." That means the full lineup of toppings, just like they do in Chicago. It's the real deal. The sides are fantastic as well. The crinkle-cut fries are always solid, and the onion rings are super crispy and addictive. If you're trying to behave a little, the chopped salad is my wife's favorite. It's fresh, loaded with flavor, and honestly one of the best salads you'll get anywhere. And here's the surprise for people who haven't tried it...the hamburger is fantastic. Big, meaty, juicy, and full of flavor. I'll say it plainly. It's better than just about any fast-food or fast-casual burger out there. Bottom line...Portillo's isn't just another restaurant. It's a Chicago legend that delivers every single time. I'm glad Texas finally got the memo.
