Better than average airport fare towards the end of the terminal. The menu is pan Asian and wile they offer different types of Bahn Mi's, they also have dishes like pad thai. I had a bahn mi and soup combo, and it was a nice change from the usual airport offering. I had half a steak bahn mi which was ok but not great - the beef was way soft for a steak version. But the chicken soup with vermicelli was very good and filling as it had a decent amount of chicken and noodles. There is a small bar too, and while they do not have a ton of offerings, the bartender was great and taking good care of the customers. Another thing I loved about the place was juts how spacious it was - tables are well-separated and it has high open ceilings so you are not in a small, crowded dining room like many of the airport restaurants.
The shrimp rolls from the pre-made cooler were good and tasted fresh, overpriced for what they were though. The line moves very slowly Watch out for the cashier adding in a tip. She reached around and pressed the keypad a few times as I was trying to change the percentage
Best food I have ever had in a food court!... you can really tell that the veggies are fresh. If you are in a hurry it might not work for you because you have to wait a little bit because is made to order. Love it!... finally great healthy food at the airport.
I desperately wanted something healthy and filling, and I found it here, but wow. The prices are not friendly and the food is not all that. The $22 "Bun Salad" was mostly shredded iceberg lettuce and the dressing, which I expected to be a traditional fish sauce dressing, was just a very sugary vinegar. To add insult to injury, the price that rang up at the register was higher than the price displayed on the menu board. When I pointed it out, they first argued with me, then they took a look and saw that I was right, and then they shrugged and said oh well the menu board is wrong.
Came by on my way to New York and back to Bay Area. Bahn mi -- I was craving for the picketed veggies in a Bahn mi . This was pork meatball ; not exactly traditional but it was delicious! Pad Thai -- it's one of my fav dishes so I had to try it here. It was made fresh to order . Also delicious. Bahn fire bowl with steak. Steak was tender and flavorful. Came with broccoli and carrots, and your choice of white or brown rice. Overall everything was well done. Must better than other airport food I've had! Stop by in terminal c near gate 22!
A meal at a fast casual/fast food restaurant in an airport that's actually interesting and good? I'm so happy we lucked upon Banh Shop! We had the Asian Scramble Bowl (pork sausage, wok scrambled eggs, fresh herbs, carrots and cabbage over rice) and the Morning Street Rice Bowl (wok-seared minced pork, sunny side up egg, garlic soy sauce, red onion, cherry tomatoes, Thai basil, cucumber, jalapeno pesto, and green onions). Both were really good and a nice break from the traditional airport breakfast food (breakfast sandwiches)! I'd definitely eat breakfast or another meal here again when I'm next in DFW.
No food in an airport is good enough to warrant the amount of money you pay for it IMO. So with that aside, the fried rice was good. The chicken was a little dry for my taste.. but oh well. The service was so/so, the girl behind the counter didn't even notice I was standing there for the longest time but as someone who worked in the service industry-- I hold no grudges. Was it a good meal? Sure. Was it $20 good? Nah.
I highly recommend the tofu bahn mi. This time I veered from the norm and ordered the drunken noodle bowl. I would have added tofu but it was an additional $4.50 and the bowl was already nearly $17. The flavor was great despite it actually not looking very appealing when I removed the lid. The color is bland and I do wish there was more broccoli but still very tasty and filling. Next time I will probably go back to the bahn mi although they do have several other options on the menu. It's a good option for vegetarians at the airport.
Alright guys, my expectations were super low especially coming from Orange County (CA) home of the original American banh mí! I have to say this one was quite delectable, it's truly TX meaty bite twist. I asked the lady which one she would recommend, so glad I went with the pork meatball - totally worth it. What I liked about this sandwich over the OC one is that the bread is soft and doesn't cut the roof of your mouth. All of the flavors were there (no liver pâté) the spread appeared to be a kewpie and butter mix that just melted in my mouth. Meaty tender pork meatballs that was soft to the bite. Pickled radish and carrots made my mouth water. Garnished with cucumber and cilantro. You know it's good when others are grading it high. Just go!! Highly recommend - 10/10!!
What a welcome surprise to find in the airport or anywhere for that matter! I read the other reviews and got the chicken fire bowl. The flavors and freshness were on point! With a drink it was about $22 but to avoid fast food it was well worth it to me. I would regularly frequent this place outside of their airport I enjoyed it so much. They give you teriyaki sauce or sriracha on the side. The guy employee behind the counter was very pleasant. Very satisfied with my lunch.
This was in a food court. Tables were not cleaned. Found a worker to clean our table. We paid $32.85 for Chicken soup (with noodles, chicken cubes, and green onions), vegetable spring rolls, and a bottle of water. Soup was tasty but chicken was dry. Did not finish it. Spring rolls were very vinegary. Peanut sauce bland. Would not eat there again.
Quality banh mi sandwich at C gates, next to C20. They were very quick and friendly which helped make my short connection in American transfer at DFW. Could easily also take on plane. They are in a food court with little amount of seating next to Chick-fil-A. Good prices for airport value. Will definitely be my go-to food choice in Dallas for a transfers. read more

The sandwich is just ok, not a traditional banh mi sandwich. It is expensive, paid $16 for this. I know it's airport pricing, but make the sandwich good at least. read more
This Bahn Shop is in the C terminal at DFW airport. The much larger location is in the D terminal but I was excited to see the restaurant expand. This location is more fast food based where you order and they prepare your food while you progress down the line and then pay. I ordered the Tofu Bun Mi and is was very quickly assembled and I was through the line in less than 5 minutes. That's great for an airport location that has more diverse options then the norm. My Tofu Bun Mi was very flavorful and fresh. I didn't eat it right away but enjoyed it on my flight. The flavors and spices were on point. Bonus star for having little to go packets of Sriracha at the counter! I'll certainly be back if time limited however I have longer I prefer the sit down experience in terminal D. More options there as well. Enjoy! read more

Don't eat here! The problem with this place is not the quality, it's the quantity. I ordered the pate, and got a half a bowl of noodles. I was told that I only had half a bowl because I didn't order any protein with it. Regardless of what I ordered, for $15 I should get a damn bowl of noodles, it's just noodles, they're not serving you anything special, just noodles! When I questioned the guy at the counter, he said "it's just the way our company does ". Well screw this company, for being so cheap! Anyway, I won't eat here again because after eating this I had to go to McDonald's and get a hamburger... Don't eat here. read more

Honored to be the first to review this Terminal C, Dallas-based eatery. The customer service from Josh and Bahn Shop team was incredible during our visit. Having a shellfish/fish allergy and loving Vietnamese cuisine doesn't always go hand in hand. I was incredibly impressed by their awareness of the ingredients and recipes and navigating my tricky allergy. Josh personally made my tofu pad Thai on a separate wok and was quick on his feet to share what I could and could not eat on the menu. In addition to the namesake Bahn mi sandwiches, they also offer curry chicken soup, green curry, rice and noodle bowls and a stunning array of freshly top veggies and herbs to top of you dish. My pad Thai was topped off with a lime wedge, chopped cilantro and pickled carrots and daikon. While navigating my particular allergy, it was easy to see that they also offered an extensive line up of gluten free options. Fast-casual Vietnamese is a refreshing addition to terminal C with heavier neighboring options like McDonald's, Auntie Anne's and Chick-fil-A. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you again, Josh! read more

Food was cooked to order and super fresh. Ordered the Blazing Noodles with tofu and would order again. Just the right amount of spice read more
So nice to have an option that isn't a burger, a bagel, or some sort of other non-descript fried food. I am not much of a breakfast person, so I was glad to see something different, a breakfast bowl with some ground pork and a sunny egg on top. I will definitely shop here in terminal C or day when needing to score that breakfast on the go at DFW. read more
Fast service! My food was ready in less than 3 minutes. The noodle salad bowls are premade, with the sauce on the side. You can add a protein for an extra charge- tofu, shrimp, steak, chicken or pork. I opted for pork. He cut it up into chunks and tossed it on the top. The bowl itself was fine, but I added sriracha at the checkout line. I like a little spice. They offer chopsticks and forks etc. they have some grab and go items such as sushi, with soy sauce at the checkout line. I like how they are on the grub app for the airport so I could view the menu prior to arriving. The bowl was a good portion. Seemed fresh and healthy. I do wish they would've heated up the protein though. It's also a little pricey, but we are in the airport. My bottled water, noodle salad bowl and the pork was $14.13. Great spot for a quick bite for here or to go. The packing is nice and they offer you a bag if you gotta run! read more

It is a small restaurant we passed by. Surprised that food was beyond good. I saw them fresh cooked. Yummy, best rice bowl I had in US. read more
Gate C27ish Sunday lunch. In a food court. Ordered Bahn mi salad and pork Bahn mi sandwich. They have sambal? They have small packets of Siracha tho. 4/5. Salad was cucumbers, bean sprouts, cilantro, red onions, lettuce and rice noodle. The nuoc mam cham sauce made of fish sauce, vinegar, carrots was good. Not a lot of noodles. Peanuts were scarce. I dumped siracha in sauce mixed then drizzled. Light, cold and refreshing. $10. Smaller serving. 4/5 Bahn mi sandwich. Flat meatballs. Baguette needed to be crunchier. Not enough cilantro. But good. Hey it s gate food. 3/5 service was slow and poor folks look confused. 3/5 clean and orderly counter. I use the Chipotle's of the world to rate fast casual places like this. 3/5 price to value. This was maybe 3 1/2 stars since lack of ethnic food at DFW. This is a welcome site in what was a food desert. I will be back again soon. Enjoy. read more

Wanted something different and somewhat healthy and walked by this place. Nice looking menu and friendly staff. Ordered the Bun Noodle Salad Bowl ($11.00) and added shrimp (extra $2.50). The bowl included chopped cucumbers, bean sprouts, onions (I had removed), peanuts (I also had removed), lettuce and carrots. The noodles underneath were a nice surprise and tasted amazing. After I ate all the shrimp and noodles, I couldn't finish the salad bc I didn't have enough dressing, and I hate dry salad. Next time, I'll definitely ask for a lot more dressing read more

This is a great place to eat if you are in Terminal C of DFW airport. One of the few places that serve fresh pan-Asian cuisine. The line is always long as people flock to this place. You have option of chicken, beef, pork and tofu. Some popular items are pre-made but others are made on order. We loved this place and had the tofu curry and pad thai before our flight. Will definitely check out as we fly from Terminal C again! read more
