Yes, I gave 5 stars for a stand in the food court across from McDonald's in Terminal C at the Dallas airport. Had already eaten in Terminal A on my trip out. In Terminal C now going home. After walking both terminals, seriously studying my meal, I settled on Bahn Shop. I ordered the green curry with steak and questioned the red bell peppers. He said he could do it without. I had visions of him picking out the peppers, but he made it from scratch! That's why he was so accommodating. It's got fresh broccoli, pineapple, and significant spice. Who knew, fresh food in a food court. Then, the checkout person was very nice. No soda water/seltzer, and I'm not a pop soda drinker. She gave me samples of 3 kinds before I finally decided. I am always amazed when I can find an airport restaurant that not only serves great food but has wonderful customer service, and the Bahn Shop in Terminal C at DFW airport is one of those. I got in line and ordered the Grilled Tofu Sandwich, with some type of magical, tasty sauce. What was impressive is that the worker changed his gloves before and after constructing my sandwich, without me asking. It is also apparent that the employees have a great time at work unlike many places in the airport. The sandwich itself was very tasty and filling. I look forward to my next visit. read more

Always a must for me in DFW! And now that I have discovered a location outside the international terminal I could not be happier. Limited menu I believe for what I saw but this location still has the Banh Fire Bowl which is fire and deliciousness and all thing wonderful especially when compared to normal airplane/airport food. If you have time go to the location in the international terminal. Plenty of seating even couches and a bar. This is definitely my go to place to eat in DFW. If I am going to have a stop on my journey and have the option of going through DFW and not a different one I picked DFW because of this place. read more

They use gluten free soy sauce!! When I asked the "server" (it's a walk-up and order establishment) about gluten free options, he said that any of the bowls are/can be gluten free, and that the summer rolls are as well without one of the sauces. I asked if they would have to take the soy sauce off of the fried rice to make it GF and he said that they already use GF soy sauce! Awesome! Chicken chunks were dry and lacked any seasoning. Vegetables... oh yeah... I saw a couple orange slivers. Later that day I began experiencing light abdominal pains which always indicates I just ate something I shouldn't have. At $12 I expect to eat something that at least won't make me sick. It was a nice change from all the bars, pizza and burgers that were offered here in the terminal. We had fresh salads with protein of choice and spring rolls too. I was dreading the usual grease-laden fast food breakfast sandwiches when I stumbled upon this place...what luck! had the grilled steak and egg bahn mi and it really hit the spot. I didn't mind paying $8 for it...it had four slices of juicy medium rare steak sliced on the spot, and an egg omelette that had to have had at least three eggs in it. This is definitely not worth the price. My connection was through Dallas airport. Unfortunately, I ended up at this place because I was very hungry. I paid $20 for food I had to throw away after a few bites. The meat they use tastes bad, not sure where they get their meat or how long they have it out for, but it just tastes bad. Their chicken is the same. Save your money and time, you'd be better off getting airplane food, McDonald's, Chick-fil-a, or Pizza Hut!
